Gas-sensitive properties of thin film heterojunction structures based on Fe2O3-In2O3 nanocomposites
This paper reports an investigation of the gas-sensitive properties of thin film based on the double-layers Fe2O3/In2O3 and Fe2O3-In2O3/In2O3 towards gases with different chemical nature (C2H5OH, CH4, CO, NH3, NO2, O3). As it was found, the -Fe2O3-In2O3 composite (Fe:In = 9:1) is more sensitive to O3; on the contrary, the -Fe2O3-In2O3 system (9:1), possesses an higher sensitivity to NO2. The optimal temperature for detecting both gases is in the range 70 - 100C. Sensors based on the -Fe2O3/In2O3 heterostructure show the maximum response to C2H5OH at considerably higher temperatures (250-300C), but this layer is practically insensitive to other reducing gases like CH4, CO and NH3 in the same temperature range.
An explanation of the different gas-sensitive behavior for the these samples resulted from the particular features of their structure and phase stat
MULTI-DIMENSIONAL PARAMETRICAL MESSBAUER SPECTROSCOPY
The investigation and development of physical bases for multidimensional parametrical Messbauer spectroscopy (MPMS) are the aim of the paper as well as the investigation of particular features of the interaction of gamma-radiation with ultrathin layers of a surface, the creation of the complex of MPMS devices. Theoretical investigations, numerical modelling, experimental investigation of new gamma-optical schemes have been held. As a result the new direction for the method development of the nuclear gamma-resonance-MPMS has been suggested. New gamma-optical schemes has been synthesized and calculated. Bases of the new investigation method for ultrathin layers of a surface - Messbauer spectroscopy at slidding angles of incidence have been developed. The new physical effect - the resonance dependence of the photoelectron outlet has been detected. The complex of MPMS devices, which has no analogs and used for the solution of fundamental and applied problems, has been created. The effectiveness of the method use at the development of systems of X-ray optics, microelectronics has been shown. The SM 2201 spectrometer has been introduced into operationAvailable from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
The Role of Avesta in Reconstructing the Historical Geography of Ancient Bactria
Ancient Bactria has an important role in the history of the ancient period of Central Asia. This article contains scientific analysis of data on the historical geography of Ancient Bactria in the Avesta, the oldest written source on the history of Central Asia. Moreover, there is analyzed the geographical localization of the countries mentioned in the Avesta
