    The use of Vascak physics animation learning media aims to find out students' understanding of concepts by using Vascak physics animation learning media on optical instruments class XI SMA Negeri 3 Bangko Pusako. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with pretest posttest, nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of an experimental class and a control class which were determined randomly from homogeneous data. The data is determined through tests that are arranged based on seven indicators of understanding the concept. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially to find out the categories of students' conceptual understanding explanations. the results of the study show that the average understanding of students' concepts is higher than the class that applies conventional learning. This is shown in the experimental class the average percentage of students' understanding of the concept reached 77.6% and 58.4% in the control class. Thus, the use of Vascak physics animation learning media is effective in increasing students' conceptual understanding of optical instruments for class XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Bangko Pusako

    This research aims to describe and differentiate the cognitive learning physics through the implementation of a firing line strategies in cooperative learning for the material of optical instruments in the class of VIII SMPN 34 Pekanbaru. Population in this research is all of VIII classes with 199 students. Meanwhile the samples are 40 students in VIII2 as control class and 39 students in VIII3 as experiment class. The instrument of data collection in this study is a cognitive performance test which consists of 25 multiple choice items. Analysis of the data in this study was a descriptive analysis that was used to determine the performance of the physics cognitive learning through the criteria of absorption and effectiveness of learning. The inferential analysis was used to differentiate a cognitive learning considerably using independent samples t-test of SPSS 20 program. The analysis data shows: the average absorption of the class is 83.79% of the higher in category, and declared effective learning efficiently. The value of t tests is t (69.1) = 2,000, p = 0.049 means p <0.05, then Ho is rejected. Which means that there are differences in cognitive test result between students in experiment class that taught using cooperative learning firing line strategies and control class that uses conventional learning with a level of 95%. It can therefore be concluded that the implementation of the firing line strategy can be used as an alternative in the learning process in the classroom VIII SMPN 34 Pekanbaru

    Abstrack: This research aimed to describe students' physics learning achievement who learned with Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) and to determine the significant influence in the sudents' physics learning achievement among Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) group with conventional learning group at SMA N 14 Pekanbaru . Type of this research is a quasi-experimental, with Intact Group Comparisson design. The sample of this research is students of XI IPA 4 that is applying Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) and students of XI IPA 1 that is with conventional learning. The data in this research is a score posttest of physics learning achievement and analysis with descriptive and inferensial analysis. There are significant differences between the outcomes of students in the class by applying Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) with the class that implements conventional learning. The analysis of data showed absortion of student in the class by applying Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) is higher than the class that implements conventional learning. The absorption and learning effectiveness in class experiment is 84,85 with good and effective categori.With thus be concluded that the application of Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) can increasing students' physics learning achievement at class XI IPA SMA N 14 Pekanbaru in effort and energy topic

    Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Inquiry Training Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Fisika Pada Siswa Kelas X SMA N 4 Pekanbaru

    The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in Physics Learning Outcomes class X SMA N 4 Pekanbaru using model Inquiry Training. The research was conducted of the month April 2017 to July 2017. The form of this study was Quasi Experimental Design with design Intact Group comparasion. The sample of research in class X1 and X2 with the number of students 38 and 37 students in SMA N 4 Pekanbaru. Where in class X2 as experiment class and class X1 as control class. The research instrument used is test result of cognitive learning. Data collection techniques are tests of cognitive learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive and inferential analysis.The results showed that the average score of the absorption of students with the application of training inquiry is 71.51% with the higher category, while the average absorption class with the application of conventional learning 63.71% with a lower category. Thus concluded that the application of learning models Inquiry Training can improve student learning outcomes in learning Physics in harmonious vibration material in class X SMA N 4 Pekanbaru

    Abstrack: This research aimed to describe students learning result by applying approach open-ended problem. Type of this research is a pre-experimental, with intact-group comparison design. The population and sample of this research is students class VIII at SMPN 17 Pekanbaru, total of 240 students. Sample of this using two class with technik random sampling, experimental class and control class. The data in this research is a score of absorption and effectivity learning physics by implementation of approach open-ended problem and analysis of the data uses descriptive analysis. The result of this research, score absorption and effectivity of students there is a difference, score average absorption and effectivity is 74,5 % at experimental class and then 62 % at control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation approach open-ended problem able to improve the learning result of student at SMPN 17 Pekanbar

    This research aims to describe outcome of process skills and scientific attitudes students in tenth grade of Dharma Loka Senior High School Pekanbaru using KIT IPA on Matter and Heat topic. The method used in this research is Pre-Experimental Design and was conducted by the research design One Shot Case Study. Data collection instrument in this research is the process skills test and scientific attitude questioners. Analysis of the data in this research is a descriptive analysis for describe process skills and scientific attitudes. From the analysis of process skills data showed: the average absorption is 82 % with good category; effectiveness is 82% is categorized effective learning; completeness learning material is 100% with complete category. While analysis of the data in scientific attitudes is 81% with very good category. So it can conclude that outcome of process skills and scientific attitudes students in tenth grade of Dharma Loka Senior High School Pekanbaru using KIT IPA at Matter and Heat topic is very good
