At the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Committee on Development and Intellectual Property (CDIP) session, IQsensato presented research by African Copyright and Access to Knowledge Network (ACA2K) which indicates that creative works are strongly protected by national copyright laws in all the African countries studied. At the same time, there is little awareness and implementation of copyright flexibilities that could facilitate access to knowledge. IQsensato is a research organisation based near WIPO headquarters in Geneva
