The article describes the application of interactive teaching for the enhancement of content knowledge and pedagogical skills of one hundred thirteen newly inducted college teachers of various disciplines engaged during twelve days of induction training by focusing on modules such as leaner's psychology, curriculum and student assessment, college governance, effective teaching strategies, life, communication and presentations skills, computer (technology) skills, micro-teaching, service rules, and budgeting. The trainees were divided into three sections, and the uniformity of the trainers was observed. A pre-test was conducted before starting the training on the proposed modules. After twelve days' training, it was imparted through interactive discussions, demonstrations, question-answer sessions, mini-projects, simulations, interactive technology, and micro-teaching sessions followed by a post-test.  The pre and post-tests results were compared; the achievements/test scores reflect that after receiving training, the content knowledge and teaching skills of the newly inducted college teachers were enhanced to a great extent.  The study suggests that induction training should be made mandatory for all the teachers before engaging them at the tertiary level, i.e., college and university, because it provides the required knowledge and skills through hands-on training. They lack actual classroom experience in higher education. The training ultimately brings a marked change in their professional attitude; hence, the ultimately goal, academic growth of students of colleges and universities, can be achieved by training them

COVID-19 proved a big economic, health and educational test for the global community and affected almost all walks of life by presenting challenges to the stakeholders. The study unfolds the importance of classic methods of teaching practiced during COVID-19 when faculty was asked to adopt emergency remote learning without any prior virtual teaching experience. The study was conducted on fifty teachers engaged in teaching at tertiary level through a questionnaire to know the approaches/methodologies they adopted during online teaching.  The questionnaire includes items related to various modern and classical approaches including the use of languages during online teaching other than English as foreign language which is medium of instruction in normal conditions. The results reflect that a majority faculty not only used national or regional language for teaching but also practiced classical approaches to achieve set objectives. The subjects were found dominant during online teaching with the use of local languages and pedagogical approaches. In the light of the results the study enables us to believe that desperate diseases need desperate remedies and hence, suggests that for realizing educational objectives blended teaching methodologies are apt to apply during abnormal conditions

The primary purpose of this research was to examine how well assistive technology can help elementary school students with deafness learn mathematics. This research employed a quasi-experimental design (Pre-test - Post-test). We restricted our analysis to the Government Special Education Centre in Bosan Town, Multan. Twenty-five hearing-impaired pupils (eleven female and fourteen male) from the Government Special Education Centre Bosan Town in Multan made up the study's experimental group. The kids that participated in the study came from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. All of the participating third-grade pupils have been identified as having a hearing impairment for the 2020-21 schools’year. The academic achievement of pupils was assessed from the very beginning of this study with a pretest (personally structured and certified by professionals). Both the researcher and the instructor's aide were responsible for its execution. An end-of-course posttest (individually organized and expert-validated) was administered to test how well the use of AT aided mathematics instruction for students with hearing loss. Students with hearing loss were given a mathematics assessment before and after receiving instruction using the study's intervention, an assistive technology. Percentage and the one-sample t. test were used for statistical analysis. The findings showed that pupils benefited from the use of assistive technology when learning mathematical topics
