Romania, state member of the European Union, as well as part of the South Eastern European Cluster, is an emergence nation with strengths and weaknesses in achieving a democratic path. European integration assumes a series of principles with high values which promotes the equality among the students, correct dissemination of information, transparency and free access to future opportunities in career. The article shall try to present the Romanian cross-cultural values as stem for the educational performance according to European international standard. It will be evaluating the performance of contemporary Romanian educational system and the manner of accomplish the present main objectives. Only well-prepared people are capable to combat the high-power distance, to avoid the low performance and to improve a sustainable quality of life. The Management Style in Mercosur Countries and in Romania – I

This study aims to familiarize the Romanian environment, but also the international one with the tradition of economic exchanges between Romania and the countries that make up Mercosur. The novelty lies in intercultural perspective that often proves determinant in the economical progress. Managers from different cultures, in this case those in Romania and those in South America, have specific ways to address the same type of problem. The knowledge of the differences between the two regions can be efficient for the beneficial growth of the economical exchanges.  The article will be divided into two parts: the first part will appear in this issue and will include theoretical aspects on the economy of Mercosur countries and Romania, the management style and the particularities of intercultural management of the two areas, and in the next issue will be discussed the comparative analysis of the differences between the two areas and its importance, the motivations, characteristics and general considerations of the border collaborations. The hypothesis from which we started in making this essay is the following: between Romania and Mercosur countries exist distinct cultural specificity elements which affects the mutual economical exchanges and their development. Ethnic, historical, religious, communication, etc differences manifested in these countries can have an impact on the members of the international organizations generating attitudes between sellers on one hand and customers on the other. These positions against action can materialize in profit for some companies (countries) and poor performance for others. The purpose of the investigation is to analyze the elements of regional specificity of the four countries in South America and Romania, as well as the effect they had on the trade developments Romania-Mercosur. The interdisciplinary pragmatic model (Singer and Churchman) with holistic character is the reference in making this essay. Cross-cultural Particularities in the Middle East

  The term Middle East has started to be used in the nineteenth century when referring to the region that included the Ottoman Empire, the Arabian Peninsula and the Balkan area. In contemporary the Middle East cluster (according to Globe’s research) consists of: Egypt, Kuwait, Morocco, Qatar and Turkey, although the number of countries in geographical terms that is identified with this region is much higher. From the ethnical point of view this area is characterized by a relative homogeneity predominated by Arabs, lately in some countries (Kuwait, etc.), appearing a large number of foreign immigrants attracted by the oil industry. This article will present the intercultural values that characterize it, the leadership style, as well as tracing the main macroeconomic considerations that characterize them. The research is synchronic, analysing the contemporary situation of these countries, and the analysis will be interdisciplinary exploratory, identifying elements with regional cultural specificity

The Icelandic Quality Oriented Environmental Policy

Iceland, state member of the Nordic Cluster (Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland) is dominated by equalitarian cultural values which encourage the collective distribution of resources and common action. The Scandinavian Nations are having one of the highest levels of the environmental protection laws in the World ant their performance orientation is situated in bottom up position inside the European Union (sustainable development with emphasis on quality of the products). The environmental performance is the expression of a human oriented society where the manifestation of institutional collectivism is among the greatest value-added for the national welfare. The objective of this article is to examine the environmental management strategy in Iceland as part of the Nordic equalitarian cultural values and the benchmarking influence of the Nordic performance in this field.&nbsp

The Dynamics of Tourism Management in Suceava County – Romania

In contemporary European Union tourism has become one of the most valuated economic activities and the tourism management has become a discipline which attracts millions of young people. The European legislation is based on the orientation towards excellency in this field because the best practices for the consumer protection are constantly developed. In European Development Regions, as well as in Suceava County, the tourism involves the assuming of a wide range of responsibilities in order to provide a focus of efficiency for the customers. Tourism is an important source of income for this region and is strengthening the development of the settlements through an efficiency management. The main objective of this article is to analyze the indicators of tourism circulation in Suceava County situated in the Romanian Nord East Development Region. The approach is mixed (qualitative-quantitative) and the intention is to present from a diachronic point of view the performance in attracting the tourists in this field.&nbsp

South Asian Cluster

This article aims to present the South Asian cluster composed of India, Indonesia, Iran and Malaysia, the intercultural values that characterizes it, the supported leadership style and tracing the main macroeconomic considerations which characterizes them. The research is synchronic, analysing the contemporary situation of these countries without reference to their evolution in time, by using the positivist paradigm that explains the reality at one point.
