Collaborative Learning and Knowledge Transfer in Consciousness Society

Starting from the expression "workplace learning†which states that the use of personal computers at work or at school reflects learning activities and work activities which are interchangeable at individual level, this paper presents collaborative models dedicated to processes of teaching, learning, assessment and research in education. One of the most important activities is represented by computer supported collaborative learning (CSCL) which, from its occurrence, presented a special interest for researchers in informatics. CSCL is based on human-computer interaction (HCI) and on computer supported cooperative work (CSCW). CSCL promotes in turn the development of computer supported collaborative research (CSCR). Information and communications technologies represent not only a media support but, most of all, a mean for accessing resources worldwide. The development of the information technology and of the information society brought benefits both to the traditional form of education, and to the distance education represented by the assisted instruction. The evolution of the information society led to the emergence of the society based on knowledge which represents an intermediary step between information society and consciousness society, who wants to be a moral society. This article highlights the transfer of data, information and knowledge (explicit and implicit) during assisted instruction processes along with the possibility to create collaborative content in consciousness society.CSCW, CSCL, CSCR Assisted Instruction, Consciousness Society

Influence of ICT Development on Education

The progress of information technology has a major impact on education process as computers represent the main support for most of educational activities. Although investments in ICT in Romania are 10-15 times smaller than in developed European countries, it seems that they are not related to the use of mobile devices. Effects of pH, temperature, ionic strength and organic matter on triclocarban solubility

The solubility of triclocarban in ultrapure water and in several natural aqueous solutions is influenced by several environmental factors. In this study the variation of temperature, pH, ionic strength and concentration of the organic matter over the solubility of triclocarban was analysed. The results show that the solubility of triclocarban increases by increasing the contact time, longer than the time of equilibrium and the temperature. It is less influenced by the variations of pH and strongly influenced by the variation of ionic strength and by the natural organic matter into the studied aqueous matrices

THE INFLUENCE OF THE NUMBER OF ACTIVE ENTERPRISES IN SERVICES ON EXPORTS. THE CASE OF 25 EU COUNTRIES IN 2007

Services are the most important contributor to the GDP and also the most important job generator. Countries development, usually, is based on the services sector. The present paper is aiming to highlight the influence of the number of active enterprises in services on exports. The paper is based on a model generated using data provided by Eurostat, for 25 EU countries and for 4 services categories. Generated in Eviews 4.1, the model is correctly specified, with a R-squared value of 0.65, and revealed a validated influence of the number of enterprises active in Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles, motorcycles and personal and household goods and in Real estate, renting and business activities on exports.enterprise, services, exports, European Union

CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING AN INTEGRATED UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
