BACKGROUND\ud Acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer. The exact cause is not known in most cases, but past epidemiological research has suggested a number of potential risk factors. This study evaluated associations between environmental and parental factors and the risk for ALL in Egyptian children to gain insight into risk factors in this developing country.\ud METHODS\ud We conducted a case-control design from May 2009 to February 2012. Cases were recruited from Children's Cancer Hospital, Egypt (CCHE). Healthy controls were randomly selected from the general population to frequency-match the cumulative group of cases by sex, age groups (<1; 1 - 5; >5 - 10; >10 years) and region of residence (Cairo metropolitan region, Nile Delta region (North), and Upper Egypt (South)). Mothers provided answers to an administered questionnaire about their environmental exposures and health history including those of the father. Odds ratios (ORs) and 95 % confidence intervals (CI) were calculated using logistic regression with adjustment for covariates.\ud RESULTS\ud Two hundred ninety-nine ALL cases and 351 population-based controls frequency-matched for age group, gender and location were recruited. The risk of ALL was increased with the mother's use of medications for ovulation induction (ORadj = 2.5, 95 % CI =1.2 -5.1) and to a lesser extend with her age (ORadj = 1.8, 95 % CI = 1.1 - 2.8, for mothers ≥ 30 years old). Delivering the child by Cesarean section, was also associated with increased risk (ORadj = 2.01, 95 % CI =1.24-2.81).\ud CONCLUSIONS\ud In Egypt, the risk for childhood ALL appears to be associated with older maternal age, and certain maternal reproductive factors

Integral bridge is a bridge structure that created the segment and made without any movement between spans or between spans the abutments thus behave like a continuous structure. Bridge integral System consist of full integral and semi integral. Integral Bridge with spans less than 20 metre to The condition in Indonesia most optimum use reinforced concrete type with system of full integral, while if more than 20 metre more suggested to use type of prestress with semi integral System. Integral bridge is intended to avoid the problems of bridge maintenance is very expensive due to the penetration of water / dust through joint movement, can improve the comfort for road users, can be used for long spans, cramped work space, dense population conditions and construction cost savings and implementation, and easily implemented in the field. Implementation of integral bridge at the start of the bottom of the structure consists of a foundation of jobs in that extended into the column supporting the pile head. Between pile head is connected to the beams that hold the floor plate. Bridge integral structure is different from the other bridge structures, the difference lies in the structure of the column. Integral bridge columns generally have a relatively smaller diameter than the other bridge columns. Location integral to the implementation of the bridge construction project Surabaya-Mojokerto toll Sta 11 +190-11 +440 located in Bebekan roads. The structure consists of an integral bridge bore pile foundation diameter 80 cm, 80 cm diameter circular columns, pile head, mortar pad and bearing pad, precast beam length of 9.20 meters, diaphragm, and floor plate. Quality of the concrete used was the K-350

Naturally drying process is necessary to dry the cocoa beans have some drawbacks such as long time, need some time reversal process, and depending on the weather. Therefore need to design a tool that cocoa beans drying oven for drying, but its function is not dependent on the weather. This drying oven has 3 main parts: a combustion chamber that uses LPG gas, the drying chamber is equipped spinning drying rack made of bamboo or rattan and disposal duct smoke or vapor fuel cocoa beans. Oven-making mechanism consists of the evaluation design, preparation tools and materials, construction tools in the workshop, and testing drying oven. Then, the test results show that the drying oven to dry cocoa beans with a capacity of 50kg require 32-hour drying time to spend 3 LPG gas cylinder 3kg size. Average temperature of the drying chamber at 50 ° C. And moisture content of dry beans can reach 7-10% advance of 55-70% which was originally wet

Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is a three-dimensional shape of the Earth's surface represented in a model. One of some methods used to build DEM is interpolation. Each interpolation method brings their own consequences, such as Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) constructed of irregular flat triangles which theoretically can not represent curvature. On the other hand, there is spherical equation which is theoretically able to cover this shortfall. The study includes a ground surveying using Total Station as the data. The sample is Dome Karst (100 m in diameter) which represents a curved shape and a soccer field that represents a flat shape. Data such as altitude point (x,y,z), they are 60 for Dome Karst and 6 for soccer field . While the test point of accuracy each method are 16 for Dome Karst and 3 for the football field. The data is interpolated by TIN method and spherical equation, then it is calculated as the volume of Dome Karst. DEM formed twice for each of the interpolation method. The results shows that the TIN interpolation can not properly represent the Dome Karst (RMS-Error: 2.368974813), while spherical equation can represent Dome Karst properly (RMS-Error: 2.133816668). Instead , TIN interpolation can represent well the football field (RMS-Error : 0.192333044), while the spherical equation can not represent well the football field (RMS-Error: 2.643165148). There are changes in the accuracy of each interpolation method when the sample points are reducted. With 38 sample points, obtained 4.03952163 of standar deviation of linear interpolation and 3.525802603 of standar deviation of spherical equation interpolation. Dome Karst volume generated from TIN interpolation is 1047,058 m3, while the volume of Dome Karst generated from spherical equation interpolation is 730,8512 m3
