Nucleon Compton Scattering with Two Space--Like Photons
We calculated two--photon exchange effects for elastic electron--proton
scattering at high momentum transfers. The corresponding nucleon Compton
amplitude is defined by two space--like virtual photons that appear to have
significant virtualities. We make predictions for a) a single--spin beam
asymmetry, and b) a single--spin target asymmetry or recoil proton polarization
caused by an unpolarized electron beam.Comment: 9 pages, 4 figures, requires ws-procs9x6 (enclosed), Talk presented

Single-Spin Asymmetries for Small-Angle Pion Production in High-Energy Hadron Collisions
Within the framework of a simple model, we study single-spin asymmetries for
pion production in hadron-hadron collisions at high-energies with one hadron
polarised. The asymmetries are generated via a mechanism of final (initial)
state interactions. For peripheral kinematics, when the pion belongs to the
fragmentation region of the polarised proton, we find non-zero asymmetries in
the high-energy limit. Numerical results and comparision with existing
experimental data are presented. We also discuss the relationship with odderon
exchange phenomenology.Comment: LaTeX2e, 12 pages, 4 figure files (2 TeX and 2 eps), uses axodraw,

Radiative effects in the processes of exclusive photon electroproduction from polarized protons
Radiative effects in the electroproduction of photons in polarized
ep-scattering are calculated in the leading log approximation and analyzed
numerically for kinematical conditions of current measurement at Jefferson Lab.
Radiative corrections to the cross sections, their azimuthal distributions and
Fourier coefficients are in particular focus. Kinematical regions where the
radiative corrections are considerable are identified.Comment: 11 pages, 8 figure
