    : This study aimed to determine the teacher's pedagogical competence in lesson planning, learning process, and in improving students' motivation. To achieve these objectives, this study used descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation. The procedures of data analysis were data reduction data display and data verification. The subjects of this study were the principal, vice-principals and teachers. The results showed that: (1) the teachers' pedagogical competence in lesson planning was done by preparing a lesson plan draft, but some teachers did not bring the lesson plan during the learning process so that the learning objectives were not maximally achieved; (2) the teachers' pedagogical competence in the learning process was done by comprehending and solidifying the understanding on a number of learning materials contained in textbooks. Whereas in the learning process, there were for classroom management and undisciplined use of time: and (3) the teachers' pedagogical competence in improving student motivation was done by providing opportunities for students to be actively involved in the use of information and coomunication technology facilities in the achievementof learning goals, communicating effectively with learners, and conducting reflectieve action to improve the quality of learning

    Length-weight Relationship and Condition Factor of Yellowstripe Scads Selaroides Leptolepis in Sunda Strait

    Yellowstripe scad Selaroides leptolepis is important product of small pelagic fishery resources in Java Sea. This fish also has high economic value and mostly captured by fisherman. The purpose of this study was to determine length weight relationship and condition factor of yellowstripe scads Selaroides leptolepis in Sunda Strait. Sampling was conducted from April to August 2015 with stratified random sampling method from catch landed at Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai (PPP) Labuan, Banten. The results showed that 757 fish captured consists of 337 females and 420 males. The length weight relationship was W= 0.00004L2.7176 for female and W= 0.00003L2.7871 for male. The results indicated that the length weight relationship was highly correlated (r > 95%). the relative condition factors of fish varied from 1.0061-1.1926, of which females were generally in better condition than the males

    Pengaruh Waktu Dan Temperatur Terhadap Sifat Fisik Cairan Hasil Proses Perengkahan Limbah Plastik Jenis Expanded Polystyrene

    Penggunaan plastik di masyarakat semakin meningkat karena plastik memiliki banyak manfaat, diantaranya dapat digunaakan dalam waktu lama, tidak menyerap air, strukturnya ringan dan tidak mudah bocor. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh plastik memiliki kerapatan molekul yang tinggi. Penggunaan plastik yang tinggi ini mengakibatkan dampak lingkungan dan kesehatan karena plastik membutuhkan waktu yang sangat lama untuk dapat terurai secara alami sehingga mengakibatkan penumpukan produksi sampah plastik. Perengkahan limbah plastik dengan bantuan katalis merupakan salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi dampak negatif limbah plastik. Pada penelitian ini digunakan Cu-Al2O3sebagai katalis dengan variasi temperatur mulai dari 150 oC hingga 300 oC dan variasi waktu perengkahan mulai dari 30 menit hingga 180 menit. Produk cair dari proses perengkahan ini dilakukan analisa viskositas dan densitas untuk mengidentifikasi sifat fisiknya. Nilai viskositas terbaik yaitu 0,9971 mm2/s diperoleh pada temperatur 250 oC dan waktu perengkahan 150 menit. Sedangkan untuk nilai densitas terbaik yaitu 6,29 lb/gal diperoleh pada temperatur 250 oC dan waktu 120 menit

    The global prevalence and association between the risk of myocarditis and mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccination: A network meta-analysis version 1; peer review: awaiting peer review

    Background: Cases of myocarditis development have been reported after administration of messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA)-based coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines. However, the reports vary among the studies, and the types of mRNA vaccines with potential to cause myocarditis remain unidentified. The objective was to assess the cumulative prevalence of myocarditis and determine the association between myocarditis and mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccination. Methods: We performed a network meta-analysis by searching articles in PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science. Information on the prevalence of myocarditis after the mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccination was collected from each study. Analysis was performed by calculating the pooled prevalence rate, and the association was determined using the Z-test. Data networking was performed using the Bayesian method. Results: A total of 18 papers was included in our analysis. We found that the cumulative prevalence of myocarditis was 1.7, 1.9, 1.2, and 1.1 per 100,000 population after vaccination with different types of mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines, namely all mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, BNT162b1, mRNA-1273, and the combination of BNT162b1 and mRNA-1273, respectively. Moreover, the results revealed that BNT162b1 vaccination increased the risk of myocarditis by 1.64- and 1.71-folds compared to mRNA-1273 and the combination of BNT162b2 and mRNA-1273, respectively. Similar risks of developing myocarditis were observed after mRNA-1273 and the combination of BNT162b1 and mRNA-1273 vaccination. Conclusions: Our findings suggest the cumulative prevalence of myocarditis after mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccination with maximum prevalence was observed after BNT162b2 administration. BNT162b2 was associated with a higher risk of developing myocarditis than the other mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines
