    Prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) Associated with the Aedes Aegypti Larvae Presence Based on the Type of Water Source

    Aedes aegypti is the vector of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) disease. Containers are breeding places for DHF vector and the most commonly found larvae in the bath water containers. The presence of Aedes aegypti larvae in a container could be affected by the type of water source besides the container\u27s color, material, location, lid existence and the container\u27s drain frequency. This study was conducted to determine the associate of water source type with larvae presence and the additional factors. This study used observational analytic with case control design. The case group consisted of households using well water and the control group consisted of households using tap water with a sample size of 130 households for each group. The sample was collected by proportional random sampling in five villages. The data was analyzed using a regression logistic test. The significant variables associated with the presence of larvae were the water source type (OR=1.923), container\u27s color (OR=2.345), container\u27s location (OR=2.241), container\u27s lid existence (OR=2.122) and the container\u27s drain frequency (OR=2.260). This study did not consider the significant association of the container\u27s material. The dominant variable associated with the presence of larvae was the container\u27s drain frequency which was controlled by the water source type, container\u27s color and container\u27s location

This regulation governs the revocation status of a Small Business Taxable Person registered with a turnover <Rp 4,800,000,000.00 but not active in reporting the Notice Period Value Added Tax. This regulation aims to improve services, administrative discipline and supervision, particularly in the sector of the Value Added Tax. Service Improvement has done so Entrepreneur Taxable feel easy and comfortable in reporting tax. Controlling the administration has done to improve the administrative system of Value Added Tax. The importance of monitoring has done to obedient taxpayer in reporting and paying the tax. This kind of research is an explanatory quantitative research, the questionnaire data.This research was conducted on STO North Malang. The population in this study is taxable entrepreneur Registered on STO North Malang totaling 953 with sample of 91 respondents. Based on the test results in partial improvement of services, administrative enforcement and compliance monitoring significant effect on taxable businesses.Simultaneously test results showed that the increase in service, controlling the administration and supervision of compliance significantly affect taxable entrepreneur

    Characteristic and Genesis of Black and Red Soil Vertisol in Jeneponto Regency

    One of factors that is interasting from Vertisol to be investigated beside the management of the soil fertility was color variations which can vary from gray to brown and brownish red. Exclusive characteristics of Vertisol are shrink swell capacity with clay dominant clay that make agricultural activities in the Jeneponto area less productive. The purpose of this study was to assess the differences of physical and chemical characteristics of black and red Vertisol in Jeneponto R.egency. The research location was based on the difference and overlaying of soil color. Black soils were taken from the village Bontomarannu and Tonrokassi Timur while red soil and overlaying colors of red and black soil were taken from the village Sarroanging. Results showed that one of the chemical characteristic which was very differences between black and red soils were calcium carbonate and base saturation. Generally CaCO3 on black soil was higher (ranged of 13.20-36.73%) than  red soil (ranged of 2.21-13.86%). As for overlaying colors of red and black soil were ranged of 2.62-3.88%. The highest base saturation was found in the black soil that was> 100%, red soil between 40-89% and overlaying colors red and black soil between 80-83%.  While Fe, Mn and Al concentrations were highest with citrate dithionite bicarbonate extracts followed by oxalate and pyrophosphate extracts.     Aluminum is a lightweight metal, resistant to corrosion, strong, and easy to get, so its use increasing as a basic material. The accumulation of aluminum scrap that not treated properly can pollute the environment, so need effort to recycle aluminum scrap that can be recovered into new products. Recycling aluminum is profitable in terms of economical, because if these metals are extracted from ore of aluminum is very expensive, pollute the environment, consume large amounts of energy and recycled aluminum becomes the cycle that can occur repeatedly without loss of its properties. Utilization recycling is done through the casting process. Aluminum casting process must be carried out carefully to avoid defective products, one of the most commond efect is porosity. Therefore, it needs to do testing to calculate the porosity in order to improve the quality of casting products. The analysis is using materials from recycled aluminum from beverage cans, household appliances, wheels, and the engine block that cast using sand casting method. Comparisons is 1 kg for each casting. Tests were carried out with density test and then perform calculations to determine the porosity and melt loss. The results of the study showed the highest porosity is specimen from beverage cans with 11,94 % of porosity and density value at 2.58 g/cm3, followed scrap from wheels with 2.61 g/cm3 density which 10.92% porosity. For porosity scrap from household appliances and engine block, is 7.16% and 5.64%. As for the lowest percentage melt loss is scrap from wheel with percentage 14%. And the highest melt loss is scrap from beverage cans with percentage 18%

    This research explains the implementation of Indonesian policy in handling illegal immigrants in Riau province. Riau which is located very strategically and located on the border of the sea with other countries allows so many people who visit Riau for a tour as well as for asylum seekers.     Studi Karakteristik Akuifer Bebas dan Hasil Aman Penurapan Airtanah Kecamatan Trucuk Kabupaten Klaten

    Kecamatan Trucuk merupakan salah satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Klaten dengan jumlah penduduk terbanyak sebesar 70.601 jiwa pada tahun 2015. Tingginya jumlah penduduk di Kecamatan Trucuk berdampak pada tingginya penurapan Airtanah. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mendeskripsikan karakteristik akuifer di Kecamatan Trucuk, 2) Mengetahui jumlah ketersediaan airtanah di Kecamatan Trucuk dan 3) Mengetahui hasil aman penurapan airtanah di Kecamatan Trucuk. Pemilihan sumur observasi dengan metode systematic random sampling. Metode geolistrik yang digunakan adalah Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) dengan konfigurasi Schlumberger. Nilai hydraulic conductivity diperoleh dari uji pompa metode slug test. Hasil dari pengukuran dan pengolahan data diketahui bahwa ketebalan akuifer di Kecamatan Trucuk pada kisaran 14,19-22,10 meter. Specific yield di Kecamatan Trucuk pada kisaran 27%. Hydraulic conductivity berdasarkan hasil uji pompa pada kisaran 23,25-44,26 m/hari. Rata-rata ketersediaan airtanah secara dinamis sebesar 12.778,00 m3/hari. Hasil aman penurapan airtanah di Kecamatan Trucuk sebesar 20.751.627,59 m3
