Estat actual de la dispersió de Cacyreus marshalli Butler, 1898 (Lepidoptera: Lycaenidae) a la península Ibèrica

En aquest treball, després d'un breu relat sobre l'arribada de Cacyreus marshalli Butler, 1898 a Mallorca, procedent de l'Àfrica meridional, es descriu breument la biologia i els danys que pot ocasionar aquesta plaga als geranis cultivats (gènere Pelargonium). S'indica el punt de l'entrada i la dispersió que ha experimentat a la península Ibèrica i es notifiquen les noves captures i localitzacions que s'han produït fins 1995. En aquests moments ja ocupa nombroses províncies. Es proporcionen fotografies de diverses fases del seu cicle biològic, així com un mapa de la distribució actual.Present status of the dispersal of Cacyreus marshalli Butler, 1898 (Lepidoptera: Lycaenidae) in the Iberian Peninsula. In this paper, an account is given on the arrival of the Southern African lycaenid Cacyreus marshalli Butler, 1898 to Majorca (Balearic island) and from there to the Iberian Peninsula. The biology and potential damage caused by this pest on cultivated geraniums (hybrids of the genus Pelargonium) are briefly described. The introduction and dispersal in the Iberian peninsula are indicated. New records and localities detected until 1995 are reported and an updated distribution map is included. So far, it occurs in several spanish provinces. Photographs showing different phases of its biological cycle are also included

Mur i el seu territori a l'Edat Mitjana

The castle of Mur is located in the mountain range of El Montsec in the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees. During the 10th and 11th centuries, Mur is the centre of a territory situated at the first line of the border with the Islam, between al-Andalus and the Catalan counties. This situation compels to design some measures of protection like a network of castles and watchtowers with a visual communication between them. The landscape of this zone is covered by forest and pastures, more tan fields that we can find down the valley and in the sunny slopes. The agriculture is based on cereals, vine and olive trees, but also irrigated crops that are related to a hydraulic infrastructure and some fruit trees. Herminio Almendros : inspector d'ensenyament i pedagog renovador a Catalunya

Herminio Almendros, inspector d'ensenyament i pedagog renovador a Catalunya durant la Segona República, ha de ser recuperat com una de les personalitats més oblidades, silenciada durant els anys de la dictadura. Aquest article se suma a les diferents publicacions aparegudes a partir del 1998, any del centenari del seu naixement, i s'ha focalitzat expressament per a professionals de la inspecció d'educació. Es parteix de la formació superior avançada rebuda per Almendros a la Institución Libre de Enseñanza i com desenvolupà una inspecció escolar propera als mestres, gens fiscalitzadora i molt assessora. Es presenten les seves facetes de divulgador cultural, de professor universitari i d'alt càrrec de l'Administració educativa.
