    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara corporate governance (kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional, proporsi komisaris indepeden) terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI pada tahun 2009-2012. Total sampel penelitian ini adalah 109 perusahaan yang ditentukan berdasarkan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi berganda untuk menguji pengaruh corporate governance (kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional, proporsi komisaris indepeden) terhadap nilai perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1) kepemilikan saham institusional berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. 2) kepemilikan saham manajerial berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. 3) proporsi dewan komisaris independen tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan

    Built in self test for RAM using VHDL

    This project emphasized mainly on software analysis. Modelsim-Altera 6.4a is the software that used to generate every single module of the Built-in-Self-Test (BIST) for Random access Memory (RAM) architecture. There are three key things to be concern in the BIST for RAM which is the Test Pattern Generator (TPG), Output Response Analysis (ORA) and RAM. The output of counter which is a type of TPG is analyzed to provide a pattern for March test algorithm. At the mean time, the ORA compare the output from decoder and the RAM output itself which modeled under the theory of numerical autonomy of error vectors from the circuit under test. The output of ORA, the comparator, will show pass or fail for faulty detection of RAM. The system has been successfully developed and vector waveform is used to examine the result of the system. From the result obtained, it showed that the system is working as expected with satisfactory result

    Waste to Valuable by-Product: Kinetic and Thermodynamic Studies of Cd, Cu and Pb Ion Removal by Decanter Cake

    Palm oil mills generate about 4 - 5 tons of decanter cake for every 100 tons of palm fresh fruit bunch processed. Due to the high organic content, the decanter cake could be converted to adsorbent for the removal of metal ions from waste water. The decanter cake was first dried at 105 oC and then carbonized at 500 oC. Earlier data showed that 500 oC had highest performance in ions removal. The resulting carbonized decanter cake were tested for removing cadmium (II), copper (II), and lead (II) ions. Proximate analysis using thermogravimetry of decanter cake carbonized at 500 oC indicated that the adsorbent contained 4% moisture, 21% volatile, 23% fixed carbon, and 52% ash. Adsorption test was carried out by mixing 1.0 g of the decanter cake in 100 mL aqueous solution of the various ions. Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models were used to fit the isotherm experimental data. The maximum uptakes of Cd, Cu and Pb onto the carbonized decanter cake in this study were estimated to be 24, 23, and 97 mg/g respectively. The adsorption kinetics was found to follow the pseudosecond-order kinetic model.     Development of a Timetabling Software Using Soft-computing Techniques With a Case Study

    Timetabling is the assigning of an event to a particular timeslot in a timetable. Timetabling becomes a problem when the assigning task becomes hard to be implied where certain specific requirements need to be fulfilled. Genetic Algorithm (GA) emerge as one automation timetabling method to solve timetabling problem by searching solution in multi-points and the ability to refine the existing solution to a better solution. The timetabling program is specifically designed and developed in MATLAB programming language based on simple GA method to solve the timetabling problem for the case study. The developed timetabling program hardly found a good timetable solution as the solution finding converges at one point. Result shows the simple GA is not applicable in timetabling problem with high constraints and limited free slots
