    Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Sains SMP Berorientasi pada Pendekatan Sains Teknologi Masyarakat untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Kognitif

    The availability of science learning instructional that integrate between the science, society and technology is still very limited so that it needs to be developed science-learning instructional with science, society and technology oriented. This learning instructional development aims to develop science learning instructional with science, technology and society approach oriented to improve students\u27 cognitive abilities. Learning instructional that have been developed in trials in class VIIb with a number of 30 students at State Yunior High School 2 Sepulu Madura through One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Instructional development uses the Kemp development model. The results showed that RPP validation, student textbooks, Student Worksheets, and category rating sheets were feasible with validity of instrument reliability of RPP 91%; Student book 90%; Student Worksheet 92%. The highest teacher activity is to guide the experiment by 22% at meeting one (P1) and at the second meeting (P2) 24%. Highest student activity is Observing with 22% (P1) and 24% (P2). Lesson learned on (P1 and P2) is implemented (92%) and (75%). Student responses to the instructional and learning are good categorized or students respond positively. Cognitive abilities seen from the completeness of Pretest learning indicators averaged <60 categorized incomplete, Postest average ≥ 60 categorized complete, individual completeness on average Pretest <60 categories incomplete, Postest average ≥ 65 category of completeness, and mastery classically on Pretest <75 is categorized incomplete, whereas in Postest ≥ 75 is complete. The conclusion of the research shows that the approach of Science, Techonology, and Society on damage and environmental pollution subject material in State Junior High School 2 Sepulu can improve students\u27 cognitive abilities and learning instructional used in this research categorized as valid and reliable

    ABSTRAKPandemi covid-19 telah membuat manusia  banyak menderita penyakit hingga meninggal dunia di berbagai belahan dunia. Konsumsi pangan fungsional dapat memberikan manfaat kesehatan fisiologis dalam melawan dan terlindungi dari covid-19. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mengenalkan pangan fungsional untuk proyek independen KKN-Tematik dalam program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Melalui kegiatan proyek independen, mahasiswa dapat merancang pangan fungsional berbasis potensi desa sebagai produk akhir inovatifnya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berlangsung pada tanggal 9 dan 16 September 2021 secara luring dan daring dengan menggunakan metode knowledge rasfer dan  Community development. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan rubrik penilaian tugas dan angket persepsi mahasiswa. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa 1) mahasiswa telah mampu memetakan potensi sumber daya alam desa; 2) mahasiswa sudah memahami konsep senyawa bioaktif; dan 3) mahasiswa dapat menggunakan referensi ilmiah sebagai dasar proyek. Tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sangat positif. Kata kunci: pangan fungsional; proyek independen; KKN; pandemi covid 19 ABSTRACTThe COVID-19 pandemic has caused many people to suffer from diseases and die in various parts of the world. Consumption of functional foods can provide physiological health benefits in fighting and protecting against COVID-19. The purpose of this community service activity is to introduce functional food for the Thematic-KKN independent project in the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program. Through independent project activities, students can design functional food based on village potential as an innovative final product. Community service activities take place on 9 and 16 September 2021 offline and online using the knowledge transfer and community development methods. This activity consists of the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. Evaluation of activities was carried out using the assignment assessment rubric and student perception questionnaires. The results of community service activities show that 1) students have been able to map the potential of village natural resources; 2) students already understand the concept of bioactive compounds; and 3) students can use scientific references as the basis for the project.     The sustainability status and the development strategy of collective cage-based beef cattle smallholder farming on Lombok Island: the dimension of disease incidence

    The incidence of the disease is one of the problems faced by beef cattle farms in Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara Province in increasing the production and productivity of livestock. On smallholder livestock, beef cattle are maintained intensively using a collective cage group, making it easier to manage and promote them. This aim is to analyze the status of the sustainability of the development of beef cattle smallholder farming based on collective cages in Lombok Island from the dimension of disease incidence. The method used to determine the sustainability status is Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS) with the Rapid Appraisal Beef Cattle Diseases (RAPBCD) approach of 20 diseases as attributes. The sensitive attributes that affect the sustainability index and the effect of errors are determined based on the Leverage analysis and Monte Carlo test. The results of the sustainability analysis showed that the status of the dimensions of the disease incidence dimension was 56.38%. The analysis results of the 20 diseases as attributes studied, 9 diseases (diarrhea, scabies, flatulence, itching, demodec, pink eye, anthrax, reproductive, epizootic septimea) are sensitive attributes and need to be improved because they will affect increasing the value of the sustainability index. Determination of the key factors of sustainability is obtained by prospective analysis to determine the future strategy for the development of collective cage-based beef cattle smallholder farming. The conclusion is that the status of the sustainability of the development of collective cage-based beef cattle smallholder farming on Lombok Island from the dimension of disease incidence is in a fairly sustainable category with four recommended development strategies, namely: strategies to improve beef cattle health management; increasing access to information and livestock health technology; increasing the role of the government, businessmen, and other stakeholders and strengthening farmer institutions, farmer economic institutions

    This study aims to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model (PBL) with a scientific approach to critical thinking skills of class X students of Al-Ma'arif Pandan Indah Islamic High School 2016/2017 academic year. The type of research used is quasi-experiment with Nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class X Islamic High School Al-Ma'arif Pandan. The sample used consisted of two classes taken using nonprobability sampling techniques, namely class XA as the experimental class, and class XB as the control class. The technique of collecting data on the implementation of RPP using the observation sheet and critical thinking skills of students was measured using a test in the form of a description question that had been validated by 2 expert experts. Data analysis of critical thinking skills carried out by t-test found that t-count = 2.58> 2.042. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model with a scientific approach significantly influences students' critical thinking skills

    Based on observations made in SMAN 1 Pemenang of North Lombok Regency found that the classical completeness obtained far from the indicator that has been determined. The low learning outcomes of students are thought to occur because the presentation is more frequent using conventional methods and no practicum activities. The Nature of Science (NOS) Learning Model invites students to be able to train students 'skills in improving the skills of process skills so as to enhance their cognitive abilities and foster students' literacy skills. This type of research is classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, evaluation and reflection. The purpose of this study is to improve cognitive abilities and foster students' literacy skills. The instruments used in this research are test sheets and observation sheets. Research data in the form of students' cognitive abilities taken with the technique of test in the form of multiple choice and description obtained the results of learning completeness 61.53% in the first cycle and 85.00% in the second cycle. While the data of science literacy capability is taken with observation technique which is done in every cycle with observation technique obtained the average score of students science literacy ability of 72 in the first cycle and 85.93 in the second cycle which is included in the category is very high and is in the range of 81.25 - 100.     This study aims to describe the validity of local wisdom-based ecology teaching books to develop students' scientific attitudes. This research is a qualitative descriptive study to assess and obtain a valid ecological textbook in developing the students' scientific attitudes. Ecology textbooks are validated by 4 (four) validators. The results of the study indicate that; 1) the validator's assessment of textbooks developed from aspects of content validity and construct validity is categorized as valid with a range of scores ˃ 3.6 with reliability for each component having a percentage agreement of ˃ 75%. This shows that local wisdom-based ecology teaching books are valid and can be used in learning activities

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the contextual approach based on hands-on activity toward students' science process skills and cognitive learning outcomes of class VII of SMP 1 Kediri in the academic year 2016/2017. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The research sample consisted of 51 students divided into experimental classes and control classes. The technique of collecting data in the form of tests to assess students 'cognitive learning outcomes, and performance assessment for students' science process skills. The results showed that the experimental class posttest average was 47.59 and the control class was 55.8. The students' science process skills score for the experimental class with an average of 77.33 with a high category. The results of the t-test are obtained tcount <ttable (-2.012 <1.98), so that the contextual approach based on hands-on activity does not affect on the students' cognitive learning outcomes of class VII of SMP 1 Kediri in the academic year 2016/2017

    In general, oyster mushroom cultivated in the hulls made from black plastic cover. Lack of use of black plastic cover material is its nature that is easily damaged or torn due to the sometimes hot or rainy weather and in the dry season the growth of the fungus is hampered due to low humidity and high air temperature, for it needs a research that aims to anticipate the condition. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of the use of evaporative pad on the home of oyster-walled oyster mushroom in order to maintain its productivity. The methodology used in this study includes the collection of environmental temperature data and room temperature, air humidity, fungus weight, solar radiation. Data analysis used is graphical analysis and statistical analysis. The results show that the evaporative pad produces the best conditions for fungal growth. The method produces an air temperature of 27.33 oC, an air humidity of 92.2%. Results of production in control buildings 814.2 grams and buildings with evaporative pad 1014.5 gr

    The research was conducted to improve the Critical Thinking Capability in detail: 1) Describe the thematic-integrative worksheet on integrated IPA Subjects, 2) Measure the critical thinking skills of students as the effect of the thematic-integrative Worksheet material, and 3) Describe the student's response to the teaching material Worksheet thematic-integrative. The resulting product development is an thematic-integrative Worksheet to support a learning process that can improve critical thinking skills. The thematic-integrative worksheets developed have met the criteria of validity and according to the expert. The test results have shown that the thematic-integrative Worksheet teaching materials are more effective. All learning tools used are in valid categories and are eligible for use. The results of the first trial showed that students' critical thinking skills were averaged 76.7 (critical categories), while the second test reached an average of 84.4 (very critical). Based on the analysis result, it is found that the thematic-integrative worksheet developed can develop critical thinking skill
