SPIRITISM AND SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION IN BRAZIL
Get PDFO processo de consolidação do espiritismo no Brasil no século XIX ocorreu sob forte influência de religiões espiritualistas. Isso favoreceu a construção de uma identidade espírita kardecista conhecida como “à brasileira”. Esta revisão de literatura objetivou apontar os caminhos que o espiritismo kardecista vem traçando nas publicações científicas, sua área de concentração e tendências de crescimento no Brasil. Os resultados evidenciaram que o auge de crescimento das publicações sobre o tema ocorreu na entrada do século XXI e suas áreas de concentração encontram-se na influência do espiritismo na relação saúde-doença e na psiquiatria como complementaridade positiva. Assim, o espiritismo tem rompido progressivamente com dualidades históricas entre ciência e religião.The consolidation process of the spiritism in Brazil in the 19th century took place under a strong influence of spiritualists religions. This aspect has allowed the establishment of a kadecist like spiritist identity known as "à brasileira". The objective of this literature review is to show the pathway the kardecist spiritism has been delineating on scientific publications, its area of concentration and its growth tendencies in Brazil. The results showed that the highest growth of publications related to the subject happened at the beginning of the 21st century and its areas of concentration are on the influence of spiritism on the relations health-disease and on psychiatry as a positive complement. As a result, the spiritism is progressively rupturing with the historical duality between science and religion
