    Penyelidikan ini mengkaji kesan-kesan kaedah koperatif bersama persekitaran pembelajaran atas talian asinkroni terhadap kemahiran penaakulan saintifik, penguasaan isi pelajaran dan penglibatan konstruktivis pelajar universiti tahun pertama dalam Biologi yang sedia diajar secara blended learning. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk faktorial 2 x 2 dengan ujian pasca. Faktor pertama ialah kaedah pengajaran, iaitu, blended learning bersama teknik jigsaw atas talian asinkroni dan blended learning bersama teknik pembelajaran individu atas talian, manakala faktor kedua ialah pencapaian pelajar, iaitu, tinggi dan rendah berdasarkan skor Ujian Kebangsaan Indonesia. Pemboleh ubah bersandar terdiri dari tiga elemen, iaitu kemahiran pemikiran saintifik di dalam bentuk penaakulan Empirical-Inductive (EI) yang diukur melalui item-item ujian aneka pilihan dan penaakulan Hypothetical-Deductive (HD) yang diukur dengan item-item ujian aneka pilihan serta ujian esei, penguasaan isi pelajaran yang diukur melalui ujian topikal yang ditadbir di akhir kajian, dan tahap penglibatan konstruktivis pelajar yang diukur melalui satu set soal selidik. This study investigated the effects of an asynchronous online cooperative learning technique on performance in scientific reasoning and content mastery as well as constructivist learning engagement among first year students currently engaged in blended learning in Biology. The 2 x 2 factorial design with post-tests only was employed for the study. The first factor was the instructional method, namely, blended learning with asynchronous online jigsaw technique and blended learning with online individual learning technique, while the second factor was student achievement as measured by the Indonesian National Examination scores. The dependent variables were scientific thinking skills in the forms of Empirical-Inductive (EI) reasoning that was measured using multiple-choice items and Hypothetical-Deductive (HD) reasoning that was measured using multiple-choice and essay questions, as well as mastery of lesson content that was measured through a topical test administered at the end of the treatment, and the level of constructivist learning engagement in the course that was measured using a questionnaire

    Learning  science in Junior High School in Pidie district has not yet developed the ability to think scientifically. Leanears have not been able to do a problem analisis and argue with the evisidence and experience of the investigation. That are not given the opportunity to have learning activities that could improve their thinking, and then the equipment used in the process of teaching and learning on the concept of plants and animals reproduction are inediquate. It is proved by the laboratory space that has not been used and incompleted equipment. This study aims to determine the differences in the implementation of integrated STEM learning and STEM Silo on the ability to think scientifically on plant and animal reproduction concept in class IX Pidie State Junior High School. The approach used in this study was quantitative, the type of research was applied research; the method used is quasi-experimental, with the Nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study amounted to 236 students and the sample to 75 students. The research procedure consisted of giving pretest, giving STEM integrated treatment in the experimental class and STEM silo in the control class, and giving posttest. The instrument for measuring scientific thinking ability is to use essay tests accompanied by rubrics. Data analysis consisted of normality test, independent t-test and ANOVA test. The results of the study showed there are diffences in the average value of scientific thinking integrated STEM class that is76.74 and STEM silos 61.64. The research is aimed at differing students ability to  scientific thinking. The students are taught by using integeted STEM learning and STEM silo in the reproduction of animal plant material grade IX SM

    Development of Four Tier Multiple Choice Diagnostic Tests to Know Students' Misconceptions in Science Learning

    This study aims to determine the quality of the four-tier multiple choice diagnostic test instrument and the level of students' misconceptions. The research method used is research and development (R&D). The population in this study were class IX students at MTs Negeri 2 Aceh Besar. The number of samples consisted of 112 students in group A, each class consisted of 16 students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research instrument used is a four-tier multiple choice diagnostic test. The data analysis technique in the validation test obtained a high and valid Aiken's V coefficient value. The results in terms of item analysis quantitatively obtained the validity of the questions 75% valid and 15% invalid, the reliability test was 0.786 high category. The level of difficulty of the questions includes 85% too easy questions and 15% easy questions. The differentiating power of the questions obtained in each category is 5% very good, 55% good, 20% sufficient and 20% bad. The results of the students' level of misconceptions using the four-tier multiple choice diagnostic test were obtained from the results of the overall analysis of students with an average of 21.76% and the results of the item analysis showed that the highest student misconceptions were in question number five with a percentage of 11.6% and the lowest found in question number four with a percentage of 0%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas instrumen tes diagnostik pilihan ganda four tier dan tingkat miskonsepsi peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu research and development (R&D). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IX MTs Negeri 2 Aceh Besar. Jumlah sampel terdiri 112 peserta didik pada kelompok A, masing-masing kelas terdiri dari 16 peserta didik di masa pandemi Covid-19. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu soal tes diagnostik pilihan ganda four tier. Teknik analisis data pada uji validasi diperoleh nilai koefesien Aiken’s V tinggi dan valid. Hasil dari segi analisis butir soal secara kuantitatif diperoleh validitas soal 75% soal valid dan 15% tidak valid, uji reliabilitas sebesar 0,786 kategori tinggi. Taraf kesulitan soal mencakup 85% soal terlalu mudah dan 15% soal mudah. Daya beda soal diperoleh setiap kategorinya yaitu 5% baik sekali, 55% baik, 20% cukup dan 20% jelek. Hasil tingkat miskonsepsi peserta didik dengan menggunakan tes diagnostik pilihan ganda  four tier diperoleh dari hasil analisis keseluruhan siswa dengan rata-rata 21,76% dan hasil analisis perbutir soal menunjukkan bahwa miskonsepsi siswa tertinggi terdapat pada soal nomor lima dengan persentase 11,6% dan terendah tedapat pada soal nomor empat dengan persentase 0%

    Penelitian ini menganalisis butir soal ujian materi sistem ekskresi dalam pelajaran biologi pada Madrasah Aliyah di Kota Banda Aceh yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas butir soal ujian dari aspek validitas, reliabilitas, taraf kesukaran, dan daya beda butir soal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan ex post facto nonexperimental quantitative research dengan mengambil populasi siswa kelas XI MAN Banda Aceh 1 dan siswa kelas XI MAS Darul Ulum dengan jumlah sebanyak 208 siswa. Pengambilan jumlah sampel berdasarkan proporsional sampling yaitu sebanyak 70 siswa dari MAN Banda Aceh 1 dan 50 siswa dari MAS Darul Ulum. Hasil analisis terhadap 60 butir soal didapatkan 54 butir soal (90%) dinyatakan valid dan 6 butir soal (10%) dinyatakan tidak valid. Reliabilitas set soal didapatkan r = 0,93 yang berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan formula r11. Jika ditinjau dari taraf kesukaran soal didapatkan 1 butir soal (2%) dengan kategori soal mudah, 52 butir soal (87%) kategori soal sedang, dan 7 butir soal (11%) kategori soal sukar. Dilihat dari daya beda, 1 butir soal (2%) memiliki daya beda dengan kategori baik sekali, 20 butir soal (33%) memiliki daya beda kategori baik, 29 butir soal (49%) memiliki daya beda kategori cukup, 8 butir soal (13%) yang memiliki daya beda kategori jelek dan 2 butir soal (3%) dengan kategori tidak baik

    Penelitian ini menganalisis butir soal ujian materi sistem pernapasan dalam pelajaran biologi pada Pesantren Moderen di Kota Banda Aceh yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas butir soal ujian ditinjau dari validitas, reliabilitas, taraf kesukaran, dan daya beda butir soal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan ex post facto nonexperimental quantitative research dengan mengambil populasi siswa kelas XI IPA Inshafuddin dan siswa kelas MIA XI MAS Babun Najah dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 164 siswa. Pengambilan sampel berdasarkan proporsional sampling yaitu sebanyak 51 dari SMA Inshafuddin dan sebanyak 69 dari MAS Babun Najah. Hasil analisis terhadap 60 butir 30 butir soal (50%) dinyatakan valid dan 30 butir soal (50%) dinyatakan tidak valid. Reabilitas set soal di dapatkan r=0,82 yang berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan formula KR 20. Jika ditinjau dari taraf kesukaran soal didapatkan 9 butir soal (15%) dengan kategori mudah, 44 butir soal (73%) katageri soal sedang, dan 7 butir soal (12%) kategori soal sukar. Dilihat dari daya beda, 1 butir soal ( 2%) memiliki daya beda dengan kategori baik sekali, 8 butir soal (13%) memiliki daya beda kategori baik, 21 butir soal (35%) memiliki daya beda kategori cukup, 20 butir soal (33%) yang memiliki daya beda kategori jelek dan 10 butir soal (17%) dengan kategori tidak baik.     Application of the Video-Assisted Problem Based Learning Model to Increase Student Learning Motivation in Virus Material

    Learning activities are strongly empowered by the use of appropriate teaching models and media. If learning activities are not well designed and correct, it will affect learning outcomes. motivation are indicators in improving the quality of education. The problem in virus material is the demand to understand concepts and imagine abstract things. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the video-assisted Problem Based Learning model to virus material. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of the video-assisted Problem Based Learning model to improve student learning outcomes, to determine differences in the application of the video-assisted Problem Based Learning model to student motivation and the relationship between learning outcomes and motivation as a result of applying the Problem Based Learning model at MAN 1 Aceh Besar and MAN 3 Aceh Besar. This research is Quantitative with a Quasi-Experimental approach with a nonrandomized control group design, pretest-posttest design only. The research sample is 121 students, the instruments used in this study are test instruments for learning outcomes and non-test instruments ARCS motivation questionnaire for motivation. The data on students' learning outcomes and motivation is analyzed by using the Independent t-test. The results shows that the value of motivation shows at the level of t (119) = 14.173, p<0.01) which means there is a difference in motivation between control and experimental classes, and there is a positive relationship between learning outcomes and motivation. The conclusion in this study is that the application of the video-assisted Problem Based Learning model has a significant effect on motivation of students in the control class and experimental class

    Analyzing of Using Case Method Based on Flipped Classroom on Student Learning Outcomes

    An important goal of learning system is to deliver instruction that can produce equal or better learning outcomes. To achieve this goal, the number of research has been conducted to address the issue of what antecedent variables can affect the student learning outcomes. One of the methods which can develop student learning outcomes is case method based on flipped classroom. This research was conducted to analyze student learning outcomes using case method based on flipped classroom. This research is the quasi-experimental research with posttest only control group design. There is the control class and the experimental class in this research with a little of case method vs a lot of case method design.  The participants in this study were 82 biology students using the total sampling technique.  Data were analyzed using ANOVA to analyze the student learning outcome using case method based on flipped classroom. The results of study using case method based on flipped classroom has significant effect on student learning outcomes with a significance value of p < 0.05 with F (6.59) = 3.97, p=.012. Thus, it can be concluded that the case method which is combine with flipped classroom gives the positive impact on student learning outcomesTujuan penting dari sistem pembelajaran adalah untuk menyampaikan instruksi yang dapat menghasilkan hasil belajar yang sama atau lebih baik. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, sejumlah penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu metode yang dapat mengembangkan hasil belajar siswa adalah metode kasus berbasis flipped classroom. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode kasus berbasis flipped classroom. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan posttest only control group design. Terdapat kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dalam penelitian ini dengan desain sederhana vs komplek. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 82 mahasiswa biologi dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA untuk menganalisis hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode kasus berbasis flipped classroom. Hasil belajar dengan menggunakan metode kasus berbasis flipped classroom berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai signifikansi p < 0,05 dengan F (6,59) = 3,97, p=.012. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode kasus yang dipadukan dengan flipped classroom memberikan dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa

    Application of Flipped Classroom on Students' Learning Motivation on Human Excretion System Material

    The low motivation of students is one of the problems in learning. Motivation is an impulse that causes an action to occur in order to achieve a goal. Evidence of the low level of understanding of students is seen from the average value of 32.26% which is still below the minimum completeness criteria. One of the efforts that can be done in solving motivational problems is to apply the flipped classroom model. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the flipped classroom model on the motivation of students on the human excretory system material carried out in 2 high schools, namely SMA Negeri 1 Tapaktuan and SMA Negeri 1 Sawang. This research is quantitative through a Quasi-Experimental approach with a Non-randomized control group design, posttest-only design. The research sample was 195 students who were divided into two groups, namely 97 control groups and 98 experimental groups. The instrument used in this study was an ARCS motivation questionnaire. Motivation data were analyzed using the Anova test. The results of research on motivation show the value of Asymp Sig (0.00) < (0.05) which means that the application of the flipped classroom model has a significant effect on motivation.     In the 21st century, learning does not have to be in the real class. In this condition, teachers and students must be able to communicate and adapt to the development of information technology (IT). It is expected that teachers and students must be able to master the use of IT or the internet in e-learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of students in e-learning-based ecological learning. This approach is a quantitative approach with the type of research being descriptive. The method and design of survey research. The sample of this research is the total population of 340 students. The research instrument is a closing questionnaire, which is the result of adaptation from Tuntirojanawong research. In this study, the data collection was a questionnaire through the website:  Aceh Online Learning System: (SpadaAceh). The statistics used for the analysis of the questionnaire data are mean and standard deviation. The results of the study on the student readiness variable include 5 (five) indicators namely technology access (mean 3.52), technology skills (mean 3.51), learning ability (mean 3.65), time management skills (mean 3.51), and learning motivation (mean 3.51). The five indicators fall into the category "Ready but need a few improvements". It can be concluded that readiness students through technology access, technology skills, learning abilities, time management skills, and learning motivation are ready but needs a few improvement

    Gastropoda merupakan salah satu Kelas dari Filum Mollusca, dan merupakan salah satu jenis komunitas fauna bentik yang hidup di dasar perairan. Komunitas fauna bentik ini banyak ditemukan di ekosistem mangrove Sungai Reuleung Leupung, namun hingga saat ini data tentang bioekologinya masih sangat kurang sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola persebaran Gastropoda di ekosistem mangrove Sungai Reuleung Leupung Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dan penentuan stasiun pengamatan menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Analisis pola persebaran dilakukan dengan menggunakan indeks morisita. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola persebaran Gastropoda di ekosistem mangrove Sungai Reuleung Leupung Kabupaten Aceh Besar berkisar antara 0,83 sampai 3,00. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pola persebaran Gastropoda di ekosistem mangrove Sungai Reuleung Leupung Kabupaten Aceh Besar secara acak, berkelompok, dan beraturan
