    Relationships Between Perceived Usefulness and Fitness Wearable Technology User Adoption Mediated by Culture, Gender, and COVID-19: A Meta-Analysis

    With COVID-19 raging and individuals exercising at home, the adoption of fitness wearable technology (FWT) that help people monitor their physical state has become a pressing matter. Here, we try to bridge the gap that no researcher has examined the link between perceived usefulness (PU) and FWT adoption by using meta-analysis to comprehend the detailed numerical values and moderating factors affecting the relationship. A total of 24 articles with 7180 re-pendants were investigated from January 1, 2015 to March 1, 2022 A.D, producing significant results as follows: (1) There is publication bias in relevant research, and sensitivity analysis suggests that PU influences FWT adoption positively; (2) Subgroup test and regression analysis suggested that cultural background, gender, and COVID-19 can deepen this relationship to varying degrees. More precisely, female (r=0.669) have a greater impact on FWT adoption than men (r=0.658). In addition, users in other countries (r=0.670) are more concerned about PU than Chinese users (r=0.658). Regression analysis showed that after the COVID-19 outbreak, the coefficient (r=0.762) of PU on FWT adoption increased significantly, indicating that people need FWT-assisted exercise to understand and maintain their own physical fitness. The research opens up new ideas for different governments and scholars to promote mass fitness and public health during the COVID-19, providing a reference for the scientific research and development of PU and marketing promotion of the related enterprises’ FWT

    Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a pleiotropic cytokine involved in immune regulation. It can activate janus kinase 2 (JAK2)-signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) signaling pathway. As one of the important signal transduction pathways in cells, JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway plays a critical role in cell proliferation and differentiation by affecting the activation state of downstream effector molecules. The activation of JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway is involved in tumorigenesis and development. It contributes to the formation of tumor inflammatory microenvironment and is closely related to the occurrence and development of many human tumors. This article focuses on the relationship between IL-6/JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway and liver cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and ovarian cancer, hoping to provide references for the research of cancer treatment targeting key molecules in IL-6/JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway

    Human Papillomavirus Infection in Relation to Vaginal Microflora and Immune Factors

    Objective: Clarify the vaginal microflora and immune factors in women with human papilloma virus (HPV) infection, and explore its association with HPV infection. Methods: This study collected vaginal secretions and blood from 160 women initially diagnosed as HPV positive in our hospital from June 2020 to December 2020 and 80 healthy women with HPV negative physical examination in the same period. The vaginal microflora of the patients were detected by 16S rDNA sequencing and the expression of immune factors was measured by a high-performance liquid phase chip. Results: The different types of HPV were HPV mix (64,40%), HPV52 (39,24.375%), HPV16 (30,18.750%), HPV58 (18,11.250%), HPV18 (6,3.750%), HPV53 (1,0.625%), HPV55 (1,0.625%), and HPV68 (1,0.625%).α diversity analysis showed that there was no significant difference in vaginal microflora between different HPV types (P=0.733). The genus level abundance of vaginal microflora in each group was mainly Lactobacillus, followed by Gardnerella and Prevotella. LEfSe Analysis showed that the mix group was Gardnerella and the type HPV16 group was Streptococcus. The immune comparison showed that MIP-1β was significantly upregulated in the HPV-positive group, but EGF in the HPV-negative group. Conclusion: This study revealed that HPV infection can change the proportion of vaginal microbial bacteria and the expression of immune factors, which provides a basis for local vaginal treatment and prevention of HPV infection after HPV infection

    Association Between Acculturation and Body Weight Status Among Migrant Children in Guangzhou, China: A Cross-Sectional Study

    Objective To assess the association between acculturation and body weight status among internal migrant children in China. Design, setting and participants A cross-sectional study was conducted among 1154 pairs of migrant children aged 11–17 years and their primary caregivers in Guangzhou, China, from April to May 2016. Measures Migrant children’s body weight status was measured by body mass index. Acculturation was measured by a questionnaire, developed and validated by the research team. The questionnaire had three dimensions with five factors, namely language, social interaction, custom, dressing and diet. Social anxiety was measured by Social Anxiety Scale for Children. Food intake was measured by the food frequency table that was developed from a previous study. Logistic regression was performed to examine the association between acculturation and overweight/obesity while controlling for migrant children’s and their caregivers’ demographic characteristics, children’s social anxiety and food intake. Results Seventy-six out of 1154 (6.6%) migrant children were overweight, and 36 (3.1%) were obese. The overall prevalence of overweight/obesity was 12.5% in boys, and 6.1% in girls (pConclusions The low levels of acculturation was associated with overweight/obesity among migrant children in Guangzhou, China. Promoting healthy acculturation and social campaign on healthy body weight may help prevent childhood overweight/obesity. Young migrant children, boys and children living with urban-to urban migrant caregivers should be the target subgroups
