A New Self-Stabilizing Maximal Matching Algorithm
The maximal matching problem has received considerable attention in the self-stabilizing community. Previous work has given different self-stabilizing algorithms that solves the problem for both the adversarial and fair distributed daemon, the sequential adversarial daemon, as well as the synchronous daemon. In the following we present a single self-stabilizing algorithm for this problem that unites all of these algorithms in that it stabilizes in the same number of moves as the previous best algorithms for the sequential adversarial, the distributed fair, and the synchronous daemon. In addition, the algorithm improves the previous best moves complexities for the distributed adversarial daemon from O(n^2) and O(delta m) to O(m) where n is the number of processes, m is thenumber of edges, and delta is the maximum degree in the graph
Full counting statistics of information content
We review connections between the cumulant generating function of full
counting statistics of particle number and the R\'enyi entanglement entropy. We
calculate these quantities based on the fermionic and bosonic path-integral
defined on multiple Keldysh contours. We relate the R\'enyi entropy with the
information generating function, from which the probability distribution
function of self-information is obtained in the nonequilibrium steady state. By
exploiting the distribution, we analyze the information content carried by a
single bosonic particle through a narrow-band quantum communication channel.
The ratio of the self-information content to the number of bosons fluctuates.
For a small boson occupation number, the average and the fluctuation of the

YamSat: the First Picosatellite being Developed in Taiwan
This paper describes the current planning and design of the YamSat, the first picosatellite being developed in Taiwan. The design, analysis, manufacture, integration, test and operation of the YamSat will be performed by the National Space Program Office (NSPO), Taiwan, R.O.C, in cooperation with other domestic organizations and companies. It is a member of the CubeSat [1], 10cm x 10cm x 10cm size and within 1kg mass. The major objective of the YamSat is to qualify in space the components and technology developed in Taiwan, including a micro-spectrometer payload using Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) technology. The YamSat will be ready for flight in the middle of 2002
Early stage morphology of quench condensed Ag, Pb and Pb/Ag hybrid films
Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM) has been used to study the morphology of
Ag, Pb and Pb/Ag bilayer films fabricated by quench condensation of the
elements onto cold (T=77K), inert and atomically flat Highly Oriented Pyrolytic
Graphite (HOPG) substrates. All films are thinner than 10 nm and show a
granular structure that is consistent with earlier studies of QC films. The
average lateral diameter, , of the Ag grains, however, depends on
whether the Ag is deposited directly on HOPG ( = 13 nm) or on a Pb
film consisting of a single layer of Pb grains ( = 26.8 nm). In
addition, the critical thickness for electrical conduction () of Pb/Ag
films on inert glass substrates is substantially larger than for pure Ag films.
These results are evidence that the structure of the underlying substrate
exerts an influence on the size of the grains in QC films. We propose a

Physical properties of FeSeTe single crystals grown under different conditions
We report on structural, magnetic, conductivity, and thermodynamic studies of
FeSeTe single crystals grown by self-flux and Bridgman methods.
The samples were prepared from starting materials of different purity at
various temperatures and cooling rates. The lowest values of the susceptibility
in the normal state, the highest transition temperature of 14.5 K, and
the largest heat-capacity anomaly at were obtained for pure (oxygen-free)
samples. The critical current density of A/cm (at 2
K) achieved in pure samples is attributed to intrinsic inhomogeneity due to
disorder at the cation and anion sites. The impure samples show increased
up to A/cm due to additional pinning centers of
FeO. The upper critical field of kOe is estimated
from the resistivity study in magnetic fields parallel to the \emph{c}-axis.
The anisotropy of the upper critical field reaches a value at . Extremely low values of the residual Sommerfeld coefficient for pure
samples indicate a high volume fraction of the superconducting phase (up to
97%). The electronic contribution to the specific heat in the superconducting
state is well described within a single-band BCS model with a temperature
dependent gap K. A broad cusp-like anomaly in the electronic
specific heat of samples with suppressed bulk superconductivity is ascribed to
a splitting of the ground state of the interstitial Fe ions. This
contribution is fully suppressed in the ordered state in samples with bulk

One new acetogenin, 6-hydroxy-8-pentadecyloxocane-2,7-dione (1), and four new prenylated flavonoids, 4 '' a,5 '',6 '',7 '',8 '',8 '' a-hexahydro-5,3',4'-trihydroxy-5 '',5 '',8 '' a-trimethyl-4H-chromeno[2 '',3 '': 7,6] flavone (2), 4 '' a,5 '',6 '',7 '',8 '',8 '' a-hexahydro5,3', 4',-trihydroxy-5 '',5 '',8 '' a-trimethyl-4Hchromeno[2 '', 3 '': 7,8] flavone (3), 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)6-((2,2-dimethyl-6-methylenecyclohexyl) methyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-chroman-4-one (4), and 2-(3,4-dihydroxy-2-[(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-2-enyl) methyl] phenyl)-3,5,7-trihydroxy-4H-chromen-4-one (5), together with six known compounds, were isolated and purified from the rhizomes of Helminthostachys zeylanica by column chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) via bioactivity-guided fractionation isolation. The structures of the new isolates were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. Compounds 1, 3, and 5 showed inhibitory activities on either superoxide anion generation or elastase release by human neutrophils in response to formyl-L-methionyl-L-leucyl-L-phenylalanine/cytochalasin B (FMLP/CB)
Motivation and Knowledge Sharing through Social Media within Danish Organizations
Part 3: Creating Value through ApplicationsInternational audienceBased on an empirical quantitative study, this article investigates employee motivation in Danish companies and aims at determining which factors affect employeesâ knowledge sharing through social media in a working environment. Our findings pinpoint towards the potential social media have for enhancing internal communication, knowledge sharing and collaboration in organizations, but the adoption is low, at this point, due to mainly organizational and individual factors. Technological factors do not seem to affect employeesâ motivation for knowledge sharing as much as previous research has found, but it is the influence from the combination of individual and organizational factors, which affect the adoption of the platforms. A key finding in the study is that knowledge sharing is not a âsocial dilemmaâ as previous studies have found. The study shows a positive development in employeesâ willingness to share knowledge, because knowledge sharing is considered more beneficial than to hoard it
Structural, Magnetic and Electronic Properties of the Iron-Chalcogenide AFeSe (A=K, Cs, Rb, Tl and etc.) Superconductors
The latest discovery of a new iron-chalcogenide superconductor
AFeSe(A=K, Cs, Rb, Tl and etc.) has attracted much attention
due to a number of its unique characteristics, such as the possible insulating
state of the parent compound, the existence of Fe-vacancy and its ordering, a
new form of magnetic structure and its interplay with superconductivity, and
the peculiar electronic structures that are distinct from other Fe-based
superconductors. In this paper, we present a brief review on the structural,
magnetic and electronic properties of this new superconductor, with an emphasis
on the electronic structure and superconducting gap. Issues and future

A Measurement of the Branching Fraction for the Inclusive B --> X(s) gamma Decays with the Belle Detector
We have measured the branching fraction of the inclusive radiative B meson
decay B --> X(s) gamma to be Br(B->X(s)gamma)=(3.36 +/- 0.53(stat) +/-
0.42(sys) +0.50-0.54(th)) x 10^{-4}.
The result is based on a sample of 6.07 x 10^6 BBbar events collected at the
Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric e^+e^-
