Deformation rule of bored pile & steel support for deep foundation pit in sandy pebble geology

    Get PDF
Regarding the whole excavation process of the support system of the Southwest Jiaotong University Station of Chengdu Metro Line 6 (the deep foundation pit bored pile + steel support and support system) as the engineering background, this paper studies the deformation rule of the deep foundation pit bored pile + steel support of the sandy pebble foundation. The deformation rule of this support system, the settlement rule of the ground surface outside the pit, and the rule of the uplift of the loose at the bottom of the pit are studied. A key analysis of the positive corner of the foundation pit is conducted, and the rationality of the optimization of the support scheme is evaluated. This paper provides effective guidance for the subsequent deep foundation pit construction and provides a reference for deep foundation pit construction

Raw frozen Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba) as an alternative feed source for cuttlefish Sepiella japonica in artificial breeding systems

The study aims to evaluate the feasibility of completely replacing raw frozen shrimp Palaemon gravieri diets with raw frozen Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba) in the diets of cuttlefish Sepiella japonica. To address the knowledge gap, we conducted a 60‐day feeding trial. At the end of the experiment (day 60), the cuttlefish Sepiella japonica eating Palaemon gravieri (SJP) grew significantly faster than those eating Euphausia superba (SJE), with the specific growth rate (SGR)SJP (7.92%) > (SGR)SJE (7.09%). Approximately 33.3% and 20.0% mortality was observed in the SJE and SJP, during the course of the experiment respectively. Some important fatty acids (i.e. n‐3 and n‐6 PUFAs) were elevated in SJE with respect to SJP. Replacement of Antarctic krill increased the diversity of the gut microbiome composition in the SJE group. Fluoride accumulated in the ink sac and cuttlebone of cuttlefish in SJE. Overall, these findings imply that PUFA‐rich Antarctic krill could replace P. gravieri shrimp for feeding cuttlefish S. japonica

Heterologous Expression and Enzymatic Properties of Nicotinamide Nucleoside Kinase from Saccharomyces cerevisiae

In this study, the nicotinamide riboside kinase 1 gene (ScNRK1) was cloned from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, and its soluble expression in Escherichia coli was achieved using pET28a plasmid. The enzyme activity in the fermentation broth was 14.75 IU/mL, and the specific activity the purified enzyme was 2 252.59 IU/mg. In addition, the kinetic parameters of ScNRK1 were significantly higher than those of other reported nicotinamide nucleoside kinases, so ScNRK1 could be more advantageous in the enzymatic synthesis of nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN)

Population genetics, diversity and forensic characteristics of Tai–Kadai-speaking Bouyei revealed by insertion/deletions markers

Abstract(#br)China, inhabited by over 1.3 billion people and known for its genetic, cultural and linguistic diversity, is considered to be indispensable for understanding the association between language families and genetic diversity. In order to get a better understanding of the genetic diversity and forensic characteristics of Tai–Kadai-speaking populations in Southwest China, we genotyped 30 insertion/deletion (InDel) markers and amelogenin in 205 individuals from Tai–Kadai-speaking Bouyei people using the Qiagen Investigator DIPplex amplification kit. We carried out a comprehensive population genetic relationship investigation among 14,303 individuals from 84 worldwide populations based on allele frequency correlation and 4907 genotypes of 30 InDels from 36 populations distributed in..
