    Get PDF
The present study was aimed to develop a simple and validated chromatographic method for the estimation of Trimyristin in the API and in poly herbal Ayurvedic formulations by UFLC method, along with stress induced degradation studies of the drug and validate the method as per the ICH guidelines. The analysis was carried out under isocratic conditions using dichloromethane and acetonitrile in the ratio of 95:5 as mobile phase with a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min at 210nm. The method was simple, specific, precise, and accurate with retention times 0.904 and 0.906 minutes for the API and isolated product. The system obeys the Beer's law in the concentration range of 10-90μg/ml. The percentage recovery studies performed showed a percentage recovery of 98.3 -101.6%w/v and found to be linear with a correlation coefficient (r2) of 0.9993. The method was found to be precise with relative standard deviation of less than 2%, detection limit and quantitation limit was estimated to be 4.58μg/ml, 15.27μg/ml respectively. The method was found to be robust even by change in mobile phase ratio of ±5%, change in wavelength and change in flow rate of ±0.1 ml/min.  This validated method was sensitive and reproducible enough to be used for routine analysis of Poweromin tablet and Makaradhwaj vatti in time and cost effective manner. Keywords: Trimyristin, Poweromin, Makaradhwaj vatti, UFLC, isocratic elution, validation and stress degradatio

Multi-Intent Detection in User Provided Annotations for Programming by Examples Systems

In mapping enterprise applications, data mapping remains a fundamental part of integration development, but its time consuming. An increasing number of applications lack naming standards, and nested field structures further add complexity for the integration developers. Once the mapping is done, data transformation is the next challenge for the users since each application expects data to be in a certain format. Also, while building integration flow, developers need to understand the format of the source and target data field and come up with transformation program that can change data from source to target format. The problem of automatic generation of a transformation program through program synthesis paradigm from some specifications has been studied since the early days of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Programming by Example (PBE) is one such kind of technique that targets automatic inferencing of a computer program to accomplish a format or string conversion task from user-provided input and output samples. To learn the correct intent, a diverse set of samples from the user is required. However, there is a possibility that the user fails to provide a diverse set of samples. This can lead to multiple intents or ambiguity in the input and output samples. Hence, PBE systems can get confused in generating the correct intent program. In this paper, we propose a deep neural network based ambiguity prediction model, which analyzes the input-output strings and maps them to a different set of properties responsible for multiple intent. Users can analyze these properties and accordingly can provide new samples or modify existing samples which can help in building a better PBE system for mapping enterprise applications

Dynamic Slice of Aspect Oriented Program A Comparative Study

    Get PDF
Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP) is a budding latest technology for separating crosscutting concerns . It is very difficult to achieve cross cutting concerns in object - oriented programming (OOP). AOP is generally suitable for the area where code scattering and code tangling arises. Due to the specific features of AOP language such as joinpoint, point - cut, advice and introduction, it is difficult to apply existing slicing algorithms of procedural or object - oriented programming directly to AOP. This paper addresses different types of program slicing approaches for AOP by considering a very simple example. Also this paper addresses a new approach to calculate the dynamic slice of AOP. The complexity of this algorithm is better as compared to some existing algorithms

Certifying LLM Safety against Adversarial Prompting

Large language models (LLMs) released for public use incorporate guardrails to ensure their output is safe, often referred to as "model alignment." An aligned language model should decline a user's request to produce harmful content. However, such safety measures are vulnerable to adversarial prompts, which contain maliciously designed token sequences to circumvent the model's safety guards and cause it to produce harmful content. In this work, we introduce erase-and-check, the first framework to defend against adversarial prompts with verifiable safety guarantees. We erase tokens individually and inspect the resulting subsequences using a safety filter. Our procedure labels the input prompt as harmful if any subsequences or the input prompt are detected as harmful by the filter. This guarantees that any adversarial modification of a harmful prompt up to a certain size is also labeled harmful. We defend against three attack modes: i) adversarial suffix, which appends an adversarial sequence at the end of the prompt; ii) adversarial insertion, where the adversarial sequence is inserted anywhere in the middle of the prompt; and iii) adversarial infusion, where adversarial tokens are inserted at arbitrary positions in the prompt, not necessarily as a contiguous block. Empirical results demonstrate that our technique obtains strong certified safety guarantees on harmful prompts while maintaining good performance on safe prompts. For example, against adversarial suffixes of length 20, it certifiably detects 93% of the harmful prompts and labels 94% of the safe prompts as safe using the open source language model Llama 2 as the safety filter

Introduction: Scoparia dulcis Linn. locally known as Manithumbe Gida belongs to Scophularaceae family and used in medicine by the traditional practitioners for the treatment of urinary calculi. Materials and Methods: Matured plants are collected from Udupi district and authenticated. Macromicroscopic features, physico-chemical standards, HPTLC and secondary metabolites were recorded as per standard guidelines. Result: TS of leaf has shown the presence of mesophyll and bi-collateral vascular bundles. Outer cork tissue, a layer of cortex and conjoint collateral closed vascular bundles and central pith are inclusions of stem TS. Pitted and reticulate vessels are characteristic features of plant powder. Physico-chemical standards and presence of alkaloids, carbohydrates, tannin and coumarins were indicative of its chemical nature. HPTLC fingerprints are a record of its different chemical constituents. Thus the quality monograph prepared on this drug beneficial in future research

In this projected project work, numerous physical systems detector readings will be measured and by standardization different system performs will be foreseeable. The project uses to ARM core with a will bus communication. From the engine half ARM core, the detector readings are unendingly transmitted to the dash board half ARM core. In dash board, the brink comparisons are done and detector failure also can be known. Victimization reserve and also the engine speed, we expected distance to that the vehicle will go. If any hardware system is failing within the vehicle means that, by load current we will establish the fault. . The dash board show provides hassle shooting info to the user. By this project work we will maintain the health of Associate in Nursing automobile system to increase level

Preparation and evaluation of ciprofloxacin loaded chitosan-gelatin composite films for wound healing activity

Natural polymers are used as lead compounds for design of drugs in treatment of different ailments. Chitosan and gelatin have proven wound healing properties individually. As both have wound healing property, the combination of these two polymers and incorporation of drugs into the composite films may show improvement in wound healing activity. Thus, the composite films and drug loaded films were evaluated for various in vitro evaluation tests to ascertain the applicability of prepared combination for wound healing activity. The composite films were prepared with increase in gelatin concentration and the drug loaded films were prepared with increased concentrations of drug in optimized composite film. These films were evaluated for thickness, folding endurance, water absorption capacity, antibacterial activity, tensile strength, drug load, content uniformity, in vitro drug release by diffusion studies and in vivo wound healing studies by excision wound model using albino rats. The drug loaded films shown significant difference in folding endurance, water absorption capacity, antibacterial activity when compared to optimized blank composite film. There was no significant difference in thickness and tensile strength of drug loaded films when compared to blank composite films. Percentage of wound contraction was more for wounds treated with ciprofloxacin loaded composite film than blank composite film. With the above results, it was concluded that ciprofloxacin loaded chitosan-gelatin composite films had shown more wound healing property than chitosan-gelatin blank composite film and blank chitosan film without interfering in strength of film. Keywords: Ciprofloxacin; Chitosan; Gelatin; Drug loaded films; Wound healing; Tensile strength
