    Student Tolerance through Religious Moderation Values in Aswaja Courses

    The purpose of this study is to describe the process of internalisation of religious moderation values in Aswaja course and its implication on students' tolerance attitude. This research is included in research that uses a phenomenological approach using qualitative research. This approach requires a number of assumptions that are different from the way used to approach people's behaviour with the intention of finding "facts" or "causes". Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study resulted in four strategies for internalising the values of religious moderation in the learning process of Aswaja courses at KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah University, among others; Learning planning in which there are topics regarding the prevention of radicalism, the use of constructive-based presentation methods in the learning process and evaluation of field assignments. The impact on the dominance of mutual respect between students with each other, students understand the existence of differences in scientific opinions that are furu'iyyah and ushuliyah and understand how to react to them

    Character Building: Strategies to Build ‎Students Moderate Attitudes in Madrasah ‎Culture‎

    The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the building of moderate attitudes through the implementation of madrasah culture in the Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan K.H. Abd. Wahab Hasbulloh Tambakberas. This research focuses on strategies, implementation, and implications in building moderate attitudes in MAUWH.  This research uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique goes through three channels; namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study include the first strategy in building a moderate attitude / wasathiyyah in MAUWH based on three principles: religious, nationalist, and tolerant. The second strategy is teacher selection and book sorting which aims to prevent the entry of non-moderate understanding into the madrasah. MAUWH also formed three organizations that were aligned, namely: OSIS, IPNU/IPPNU, and Scouts engaged in their respective fields. The implications of strategy and implementation in the social environment are the reduction of hate comments or body shaming within the scope of madrasahs or Islamic boarding schools. With the student's respectful attitude towards the teacher, the student has unwittingly implemented behavior in accordance with the rules and morals of moderate Islam / wasathiyyah.Tujuan dari pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis membangun sikap moderat melalui implementasi budaya madrasah di Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan K.H. Abd. Wahab Hasbulloh Tambakberas. Penelitian ini berfokus pada strategi, implementasi dan implikasi dalam membangun sikap moderat di MAUWH. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data melalui tiga alur; yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini antara lain: strategi pertama dalam membangun sikap moderat/ wasathiyyah di MAUWH berdasarkan tiga prinsip: religius, nasionalis dan toleran. Adapun strategi kedua yaitu seleksi guru dan penyortiran buku yang bertujuan untuk mencegah masuknya paham non-moderat ke dalam madrasah. MAUWH juga membentuk tiga organisasi yang disejajarkan, yaitu: OSIS, IPNU/IPPNU, dan Pramuka yang bergerak di bidangnya masing-masing. Implikasi dari strategi dan implementasi pada lingkungan pergaulan yaitu berkurangnya hate comment atau body shamming dalam lingkup madrasah ataupun pesantren. Dengan sikap hormat siswa terhadap guru, tanpa disadari siswa telah menerapkan perilaku yang sesuai dengan kaidah dan akhlak islam moderat/ wasathiyya
