La ciudad de Abu Dhabi, capital de su emirato homónimo y de los EAU es en la actualidad una de las ciudades con uno de los desarrollos económicos más altamente crecientes, debido principalmente a los grandes recursos generados por la explotación del petróleo, por lo cual, los líderes de estado desean que esta economía migre hacia una nueva fuente de ingresos basados en los negocios inmobiliarios y el turismo; generando macro proyectos con la finalidad de crear iconos únicos en el mundo. De esta manera, el edificio Aldar Headquarters surge como un proyecto icono de la empresa Aldar Properties, el cual, innovó mediante su diseño circular, único en el mundo, cuenta con 23 pisos en una altura de 121 m., a su vez, es uno de los primeros edificios en implementar tecnologías con fines de desarrollos bioclimáticos en la zona, teniendo en cuenta que se encuentra ubicado en una de las zonas más áridas en el mundo, lo cual, le permitió ser acreedor de varios premios internacionales en este campo. En éste artículo, se analiza el proyecto en cuanto a la temática de la bioclimática y la automatización, apoyándose en software desarrollado para esta finalidad y el análisis, experiencia y sentido común de los autores, obteniendo resultados que consideren avalar , no apoyar o mejorar las soluciones implementadas en la edificación.Abstract. Abu Dhabi city, capital of the emirate of the same name and the UAE is now a city with one of the most highly growing economic developments, mainly due to the great resources generated by the exploitation of oil, which, state leaders want this economy to migrate into a new source of income based on the real estate and tourism, generating macro projects in order to create unique icons in the world. In this way, the building Aldar Headquarters project emerges as a business icon to Aldar Properties which, innovated by its circular design, unique in the world, has 23 at a height of 121 m. Turn is one of the first buildings to implement technologies bioclimatic development purposes in the area, considering that it is located in one of the driest areas in the world, allowing it to be a creditor of several international awards in this field. In this paper, we analyze the project in terms of the theme bioclimatic and automation, based on software developed for this purpose and the analysis, experience and common sense of the authors, consider getting results guarantee, no support or improve the solutions implemented in the building

The Research Journey as a Challenge Towards New Trends

The academic community of the department of Risaralda, in its permanent interest in evidencing the results of the research processes that are carried out from the Higher Education Institutions and as a product of the VI meeting of researchers of the department of Risaralda held in November 2021 presents its work: “The journey of research as a challenge towards new trends”, which reflects the result of the latest research and advances in different lines of knowledge in Agricultural Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Technology and Information Sciences, which seek to solve and meet the demands of the different sectors.
