    Fabrication of Microporous Water Filter Using Titanium Dioxide Particles, Silica Particles, and Polyethylene Glycol

    We report the fabrication of microporous filter for use in filtering both inorganic and organic substances from liquid materials. Titania (TiO 2) anatase was used as the main material for this filter. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) with average molecular weight of 20,000 was also used as additive to control the formation of pores, especially pore sizes. The mixture of titania and PEG was pressed into cylindrical tablet shape at room temperature and then simply heated inside a furnace up to temperature where the PEG decomposed into gas to leave only connected titania particles. The use of titania as base material for the filter allows the organic substances that trapped inside the filter pores to be easily removed by heating up the used filter at above decomposition temperature of the trapped organics. We also made other filter by adding small amount of silica (SiO2) particles to reduce the size of the pores as well as to improve the mechanical strength. We observed that filters containing silica particles, with smaller in size compared to titania, resulted in better mechanical strength, smaller in pore sizes and better filtering results in term of turbidity and dissolved oxygen (DO) content. This method is potential for development of larger scale and cheaper water filters for use in various applications

    Synthesis of -TCP by Wet Precipitation Method From Natural Lime

    Beta-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) is a biomaterial that is widely used as bone scaffold and calcium phosphate cement. β-TCP has excellent characteristic such as biocompatible, highly solubility, and Faster degradation rate than other types of calcium phosphate. In this research, β-TCP was synthesized from natural limestone and phosphoric acid. The synthesis method used is wet precipitation method. Phosporic acid solution was added by titration at rate of 0,5 mL per second. Temperature reaction controlled at 60⁰C meanwhile calcination process at 800⁰C and 1000⁰C. The mineralogy characteristic by X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD) showed that β-tricalcium phosphate main phase was formed at 800⁰C and while characterization of chemical content with X-Ray Flourescence (XRF) β-TCP has a Ca/P molar ratio of 1,35-1,37

    Implementation of Human Resource Management in the Adaptation Period for New Habits

    The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the global economy and business, and Human Resources (HR) is at its heart. With the organization now on the cusp of recovery, the role of HR has become even more important. The question is not limited in terms of imagining the impact and role of human resources in the future post-COVID-19. One thing is certain - the pandemic and its inherent effects on business have highlighted the need for adaptability and resilience in today's workforce, accelerated the shift towards a new digital economy, and emphasized the importance of HR in the new normal. This study tries to describe the role of human resource management in an effort to restore organizational performance. This study is a qualitative research using descriptive methods to describe the object under study. The results showed that the role of HRM during the COVID-19 pandemic was very strategic, especially in terms of maintaining the health and safety of workers when returning to work by implementing strict health protocols and also providing guidance and assistance for employees affected by COVID-19 such as downsizing and restructurisation.     Analisis Kompetensi Digital Guru Sekolah Dasar

    Perubahan dunia secara global turut menghadirkan pelbagai alat-alat teknologi yang semakin canggih, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Dibutuhkan peningkatan kualitas guru sebagai penyeimbang kemajuan pendidikan 4.0 ini, salah satunya adalah meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru. Namun, Kenyataan di lapangan masih terdapat kondisi ketertinggalan teknologi. Penelitian ini memfokuskan untuk (1) mengetahui intensitas penggunaan perangkat digital dalam pembelajaran, (2) mengetahui program aplikasi komputer yang paling sering digunakan dalam pembelajaran, dan (3) mengetahui penguasaan guru dalam menggunakan program aplikasi komputer untuk pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif survei dengan melibatkan 70 guru sekolah dasar dengan teknik secara acak. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket didampingi pula dengan penjaringan data melalui kegiatan wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Intensitas penggunaan perangkat digital menunjukkan angka 53% guru sudah menggunakannya setiap mengajar, 31% berselangan dan 16% tidak pernah menggunakan. (2) Program aplikasi komputer yang sering digunakan adalah melalui media sosial (68%) dan video conference (59%) yang merupakan media paling sering digunakan untuk alternatif komunikasi pembelajaran. (3) Sebanyak 44% guru berada pada tingkat sangat mampu dalam penguasaan menggunakan program aplikasi komputer untuk pembelajaran
