    Magnetic Strings in Einstein-Born-Infeld-Dilaton Gravity

    Get PDF
A class of spinning magnetic string in 4-dimensional Einstein-dilaton gravity with Liouville type potential which produces a longitudinal nonlinear electromagnetic field is presented. These solutions have no curvature singularity and no horizon, but have a conic geometry. In these spacetimes, when the rotation parameter does not vanish, there exists an electric field, and therefore the spinning string has a net electric charge which is proportional to the rotation parameter. Although the asymptotic behavior of these solutions are neither flat nor (A)dS, we calculate the conserved quantities of these solutions by using the counterterm method. We also generalize these four-dimensional solutions to the case of (n+1)(n+1)-dimensional rotating solutions with k≤[n/2]k\leq[n/2] rotation parameters, and calculate the conserved quantities and electric charge of them.Comment: 15 pages, references added, to appear in Phys. AbstractSilver has been used for the treatment of medical ailments for over 100years due to its natural antibacterial and antifungal properties. In this study, silver nanoparticles were synthesized, evaluated for its wound healing activity and its effect in some functions of the liver and kidney. We investigated the wound-healing properties of silver nanoparticles in an animal model and found that rapid healing and improved cosmetic appearance occur within 15days. Furthermore, we showed that silver nanoparticles exert positive effects through their antimicrobial properties, reduction in wound inflammation, and modulation in some of liver and kidney functions during skin wound healing. These results have given insight into the actions of silver and have provided a novel therapeutic direction for wound treatment in clinical practice

Dilatonic BTZ black holes with power-law field

Motivated by low energy effective action of string theory and large applications of BTZ black holes, we will consider minimal coupling between dilaton and nonlinear electromagnetic fields in three dimensions. The main goal is studying thermodynamical structure of black holes in this set up. Temperature and heat capacity of these black holes are investigated and a picture regarding their phase transitions is given. In addition, the role and importance of studying the mass of black holes is highlighted. We will see how different parameters modify thermodynamical quantities, hence thermodynamical structure of these black holes. In addition, geometrical thermodynamics is used to investigate thermodynamical properties of these black holes. In this regard, the successful method is presented and the nature of interaction around bound and phase transition points is studied.Comment: 15 pages, 8 figures, 1 table. accepted in Phys. Lett.

This paper aimed to establish the development of textbooks written argumentation based reasoning pattern argumentaif. Through R & D study design, this study produced findings that textbooks written arguments used in the current school textbooks covering publications Pusbuk (BSE), a textbook published by the private sector, and textbooks terbita MGMP. The entire book has a structure of the same material, ie understanding (concept), characteristic / criteria, and the steps are written arguments like writing in general, (2) the development of text books written arguments through support ICT based argumentative reasoning patterns in high school students are prepared based on the principle of development, the provisions of the development, and the steps / procedure development. The principle of development used is based on the principle of coherence, relevance, consistency, and adequacy. The provision of development used whether they reference the development, content, organization of material, material development, presentation, and evaluation. In the meantime, the steps in preparing to write argumentative texts based argumentative reasoning patterns include analyzing SK and KD, determine indicators of achievement, identify basic theories used, compiling textbooks, textbook editing, and verification of eligibility, and (3) The development of textbooks written arguments based argumentative reasoning patterns assessed both by teachers and students of high school and fit for use in learning at school
