Annex 21 : nurturing connections manual
The guidelines in this manual are designed to help program staff and field facilitators implement the activities of the Nurturing Connections© manual. In Cambodia, social and economic discrimination against women is reinforced by deeply ingrained cultural traditions and social practices. When women have access to and power to make decisions about income, they tend to spend a larger proportion on food, medical care, and education for their children and family members than do men. Inequality and inadequate voice for women results in slow performance in addressing key development issues, especially the nutritional status of women and children
