In my article I used a method that detect circle in the image with fast calculations and in short time instant of these methods that perform heavy calculations that consume processing power of GPU as well as time in circle detection.     Autosomal Recessive Primary Microcephaly (MCPH) is a rare disorder of neurogenic mitosis characterized by reduced head circumference at birth with variable degree of mental retardation. In MCPH patients, brain size reduced to almost one-third of its original volume due to reduced number of generated cerebral cortical neurons during embryonic neurogensis. So far, seven genetic loci (MCPH1-7) for this condition have been mapped with seven corresponding genes (MCPH1, WDR62, CDK5RAP2, CEP152, ASPM, CENPJ, and STIL) identified from different world populations. Contribution of ASPM and WDR62 gene mutations in MCPH World wide is more than 50%. By and large, primary microcephaly patients are phenotypically indistinguishable, however, recent studies in patients with mutations in MCPH1, WDR62 and ASPM genes showed a broader clinical and/or cellular phenotype. It has been proposed that mutations in MCPH genes can cause the disease phenotype by disturbing: 1) orientation of mitotic spindles, 2) chromosome condensation mechanism during embryonic neurogenesis, 3) DNA damage-response signaling, 4) transcriptional regulations and microtubule dynamics, 5) certain unknown centrosomal mechanisms that control the number of neurons generated by neural precursor cells. Recent discoveries of mammalian models for MCPH have open up horizons for researchers to add more knowledge regarding the etiology and pathophysiology of MCPH. High incidence of MCPH in Pakistani population reflects the most probable involvement of consanguinity. Genetic counseling and clinical management through carrier detection/prenatal diagnosis in MCPH families can help reducing the incidence of this autosomal recessive disorder

    This study aims to explain the knowledge sharing behavior of business teachers of Pakistani Universities using the theory of planned behavior. For this purpose, data was collected from 157 business teachers serving in the Pakistani Universities. Smart-PLS has been used to analyze the collected data. Factor analysis and Cronbach’s alpha confirmed the validity and reliability of the measurement scales. Similarly, Structural model were applied to find out the relationship among independent variables (attitude towards knowledge sharing, subjective norms of knowledge sharing, perceived behavioral control of knowledge sharing) and dependent variable (knowledge sharing intention and knowledge sharing behavior). The findings show positive and significant relationship among all the study variables

    Sustainable rural electrification through solar PV DC microgrids—An architecture-based assessment

    Solar photovoltaic (PV) direct current (DC) microgrids have gained significant popularity during the last decade for low cost and sustainable rural electrification. Various system architectures have been practically deployed, however, their assessment concerning system sizing, losses, and operational efficiency is not readily available in the literature. Therefore, in this research work, a mathematical framework for the comparative analysis of various architectures of solar photovoltaic-based DC microgrids for rural applications is presented. The compared architectures mainly include (a) central generation and central storage architecture, (b) central generation and distributed storage architecture, (c) distributed generation and central storage architecture, and (d) distributed generation and distributed storage architecture. Each architecture is evaluated for losses, including distribution losses and power electronic conversion losses, for typical power delivery from source end to the load end in the custom village settings. Newton–Raphson method modified for DC power flow was used for distribution loss analysis, while power electronic converter loss modeling along with the Matlab curve-fitting tool was used for the evaluation of power electronic losses. Based upon the loss analysis, a framework for DC microgrid components (PV and battery) sizing was presented and also applied to the various architectures under consideration. The case study results show that distributed generation and distributed storage architecture with typical usage diversity of 40% is the most feasible architecture from both system sizing and operational cost perspectives and is 13% more efficient from central generation and central storage architecture for a typical village of 40 houses. The presented framework and the analysis results will be useful in selecting an optimal DC microgrid architecture for future rural electrification implementations

Traditional strategies in Integrated Pest Management used in agriculture are insufficient and the application of chemical pesticides have caused adverse effects on animals, human health and the environment. With the utilization of nanotechnological approaches, the green and efficient alternatives would provide the management of insect pests without causing an impact on animals and the environment.     A review of the blood transfusion practices in neuroanesthesia in the perioperative period in a tertiary care hospital

    Background: Blood transfusion involves the administration of blood and blood components. Neurosurgical procedures are associated with significant blood loss with the need for blood transfusion in the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative period to maintain optimal hemodynamic and cerebral oxygenation. Various neurosurgical procedures as traumatic brain injury, complex spinal surgeries, and endovascular neurosurgical procedures may need blood transfusions to maintain the optimal physiology.Methods: This study was performed prospectively at a tertiary care hospital in northern India with about a work load of 800 to 1000 elective neurosurgical surgical procedures being done per year. This data was collected prospectively over a period of one year from the patients being operated for elective neurosurgical procedures and later on shifted to the neurosurgical intensive care unit and the neurosurgical wards. The patients operated for emergency procedures for traumatic brain surgery were not included in the study.Results: A total of 455 elective neurosurgical procedures were done during the study period. Out of these 455 patients there were 95 patients who were in the paediatric age group with age less than 12 years. Out of 360 adult patients 85 patients were in need of blood transfusion which constituted 23.6 percent of the operated patients.   Out of these 85 patients 45 patients needed two transfusions in the form of whole blood or packed cells, 40 patients needed a single transfusion.42 units of fresh frozen plasma were transfused to 17 patients with 15 patients receiving platelet transfusions.Conclusions: In conclusion, neurosurgical population is associated with significant blood loss and a requirement of blood transfusion. About 47 percent of paediatric population needed blood transfusion in our study with around 24 percent of adult population. The transfusion requirement was mainly seen in patients with craniostenosis, meningiomas, cerebello pontine tumours and meningiomas
