This study aims to examine the effect of Service Quality and Security of the eBranch BCA Application and Customer Satisfaction on Customer Loyalty and Corporate Image as moderating. The population in this study were customers of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. who already have experience using the eBranch BCA application. The amount of data was 116 respondents who were taken through a questionnaire using partial least square (PLS) data analysis. Based on statistical tests, the results of the study show that the Service Quality and Security of the BCA eBranch Application and Customer Satisfaction have a significant effect on Customer Loyalty, Corporate Image has a significant effect on Customer Loyalty. Corporate Image Moderation has no significant effect and weakens the effect of Service Quality and Security of the BCA eBranch Application on Customer Loyalty. Perceived stress and emotional social support among women who are denied or receive abortions in the United States: a prospective cohort study.

BackgroundExamining women's stress and social support following denial and receipt of abortion furthers understanding of the effects of unwanted childbearing and abortion on women's well-being. This study investigated perceived stress and emotional social support over time among women who were denied wanted abortions and who received abortions, and compared outcomes between the groups.MethodsThe Turnaway Study is a prospective cohort study of women who sought abortions at 30 abortion facilities across the United States, and follows women via semiannual phone interviews for five years. Participants include 956 English or Spanish speaking women aged 15 and over who sought abortions between 2008 and 2010 and whose gestation in pregnancy fit one of three groups: women who presented up to three weeks beyond a facility's gestational age limit and were denied an abortion; women presenting within two weeks below the limit who received an abortion; and women who received a first trimester abortion. The outcomes were modified versions of the Perceived Stress Scale and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. Longitudinal mixed effects models were used to assess differences in outcomes between study groups over 30 months.ResultsWomen denied abortions initially had higher perceived stress than women receiving abortions near gestational age limits (1.0 unit difference on 0-16 scale, P = 0.003). Women receiving first-trimester abortions initially had lower perceived stress than women receiving abortions near gestational age limits (0.6 difference, P = 0.045). By six months, all groups' levels of perceived stress were similar, and levels remained similar through 30 months. Emotional social support scores did not differ among women receiving abortions near gestational limits versus women denied abortions or women having first trimester abortions initially or over time.ConclusionsSoon after being denied abortions, women experienced higher perceived stress than women who received abortions. The study found no longer-term differences in perceived stress or emotional social support between women who received versus were denied abortions

Occupational Therapy\u27s Role in Athletic Retirement

Athletic retirement is described as a life transition involving withdrawal from the athletic role. Throughout the process of athletic retirement, individuals experience a loss of identity, roles, routines, and social support which has shown to negatively impact their overall mental health and well-being (Marterella & Smoot, 2017). This study investigated elite athletes’ experiences throughout their transition to athletic retirement, a ten-question online survey and semi-structured interviews were administered. Themes that emerged from the data are occupational adjustment and relearning roles, experiencing a crossroads of identity, external expectations, and pressures. Participants shared experiencing a period of burnout and detachment right after transitioning out of their sport while still maintaining a strong athletic identity. Participants also described feelings of unpreparedness due to a lack of appropriate resources for this transition. These findings identify the potential roles for occupational therapy services for this population which include engaging in health-promoting occupations, establishing new identities, redefining roles and routines, and prevention strategies.https://soar.usa.edu/otdcapstonessummer2022/1001/thumbnail.jp

The Students for Students: VCU to RPS Mentorship Program provides a model that will connect current VCU students to current Richmond Public Schools (RPS) students through a formal, multi-year mentorship. Somehow, though, the magic of mathematics – the true power of numbers and their beautiful wildness – gets lost in math class. Children, our most magical thinkers, get turned off math in grade school and miss out on a language through which they could learn to read and change the world. VCU Math In Motion will generate a creative, dynamic STEM education initiative within the Richmond community using an innovative curriculum and a customized mobile unit to bring the beauty of math to Richmond region school children in grades 5-9, through partnerships across VCU and within the local school system

The social meaning of infertility in Southwest Nigeria

There has been very little documentation of the social meaning given to infertility in many developing countries, including Nigeria, where the prevalence of infertility is known to be high. We have conducted a number of qualitative studies aimed at exploring socio-cultural issues associated with infertility in Ile-Ife, Southwestern Nigeria. Twenty-five focus-group discussions were held with knowledgeable persons in the rural and urban parts of the community to ascertain their attitudes towards infertility. The results show that community members accord great significance to child-bearing, but, they have incorrect knowledge of the causes and appropriate treatment of infertility. Focus-group participants mentioned several traditional beliefs regarding the causes of infertility from which they derived a variety of traditional and religious methods for its treatment; many affected couples use these methods of treatment, sometimes singly but most often in combination. Orthodox treatments are less often used because of perceptions of the causes of infertility and lack of confidentiality at the treatment centres. Women are more likely to suffer the social consequences of infertility; they suffer physical and mental abuse, neglect, abandonment, economic deprivation and social ostracism as a result of their infertile status. These findings have profound implications for reproductive health and reproductive rights of women in the area. Measures recommended to ameliorate the adverse consequences of infertility in the community include provision of broad reproductive health education and appropriate services; integration of infertility treatment and prevention into primary health care and the traditional system of health care delivery; and programs aimed at the empowerment of women in the area
