In particular, we have highlighted the importance of a correct evaluation of sex and ethnic differences in cultural concepts of beauty, with the provision of sex- and ethnicity-tailored intervention programs. The evolution over time of perceived and ideal body image represents a primary health goal to guarantee well-being and health in immigrants and minority groups
