    Orang tua dituntut untuk bisa memahami perkembangan teknologi agar dapat membimbing dan membina anak dalam menggunakan dan memakai media digital. Agar anak tidak terpengaruhi hal-hal yang negatif akibat penggunaan media digital yang berlebihan. Sama halnya dalam masa pandemi covid-19 saat ini. Upaya pencegahan penyebaran virus covid-19 semua aktifitas dilakukan di rumah salah satunya adalah pelaksanaan belajar dan pembelajaran. kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ingin memberikan informasi dan pengetahuan terkait bagaimana mendidik anak di era digital dan masa pandemi covid-19. Dan menganlisis bagaima permasalahan dan pemahaman bagi para peserta kegiaatan terkait cara mendidik anak di era digital dan masa pandemi covid-19. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk memberikan informasi dan solusi terkait fenomena yang terjadi di masyarakat terutama dalam pendidikan anak usia dini . Sasaran pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah para orang tua, mahasiswa, pendidik anak usia dini dan masyarakat umum baik di kota Samarinda maupun di luar kota Samarinda. Pelaksanaan aplikasi Zoom dan survei menggunakan google form. Berdasarkan hasil survei kepada para peserta webinar penggunaan media digital yang bisa digunakan oleh anak usia dini adalah handphone dan leptop. Dalam peran orang tua dalam mendampigi anak selama menggunakan fasilitas media digital untuk kategori memberikan arahan dalam menggunakan fasilitas digital 30%, mengatur waktu dalam menggunakan fasilitas digital 40% , mengatur peminjaman fasilitas digital sesuai dengan keperluan 15%, memilih dan mensetting program aplikasi yang positif 20%, mendampigi anak saat menggunakan faslitas digital 30%, menggatur penggunaan fasilitas digital secara bijaksana 20% dan menelusiri kegiatan anak di dunia maya 20 %. Dan di tambah masa pendemi covid-19 dimana media digital menjadi satu-satunya sarana yang dapat memberikan solusi untuk tetap terlaksananya kegiatan pembelajaran, hal ini menjadi alasan bagi orang tua untuk dapat mendidik dan membimbing anak sebagai antisipasi dampak negative bagi anak dalam penggunaan media digital. Adapun yang dapat dilakukan adalah membuat kesepakatan kepada pasangan, anak, orang tua dan mertua berkaitan kebijakan penggunaan mendia digital.Sebelum memberikan media digital ke anak orang tua terlebih dahulu melakukan diskusi kepada anak tentang kebutuhan dalam menggunakan media digital, bagaimana mempertanggungjawabkan dalam menggunakan media digital, serta mendiskusikan resiko yang terajadi saat menggunakan media digital.Orang tua memberikan alternatif lain dengan menyediakan alat dan kegatan permainan yang mengasah keaktifan tubuh dan pikiran Buat anak selalu sibuk dengan tanggung jawab, baik tanggung jawab teradap keperluan diri sendiri atau membantu pekerjaan di rumah. Orang tua melakukan pencegahan dan kontrol dengan memproteksi aplikasi-aplikasi yang digunakan, agar anak tidak membuka situs-situs yang tidak mendidik. Dalam keberhasilan proses mendidik anak selama era digital dan masa pendemi covid-19 ini menjadi tanggung jawab bersama, baik pemerintah lembaga sekolah, guru dan orang tua

    This study aims to find out how the experiment method in improving student’s understanding on concept of weight for students aged 3 to 4. This study was conducted in Az-zaitun Genting Tanah Pre-school. The research subjects were twelve students of group B aged three to four, consisting of five males and seven females. The researcher applied classroom action research with two cycles, applying four stages; planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The result shows that students’ understanding on weight concept has increased. At the first cycle, students’ understanding reached 36% and increased into 79% at the second cycle. In conclusion, the experiment method is effective in improving students’ understanding on weight concept. Therefore, it is suggested that teacher to give stimulation and practice for improving students’ understanding weight concept

    Penentuan judul penelitian adalah awal bagi peneliti untuk melaksanakan sebuah proses penelitian. Penentuaan judul dapat memberikan gambaran bagi peneliti terhadap topik dan permasalahan yang akan diteliti. Dalam menentukan judul memerlukan dasar dan syarat yang perlu dipenuhi agar saat proses pelaksanaan penelitia tidak memiliki kendala. Strategi diperlukan dalam menentukan judul salah satunya judul yang diangkat harus dimengerti oleh peneliti. Mahasiswa PG PAUD memiliki tugas mengerjakan skripsi yang merupakan bentuk tugas penelitian. Mahaiswa harus paham bagaimana menentukan judul skripsi. Agar mereka tidak memiliki kendala dalam menyelesaikan tugas. Kegiatan ini yang menjadi peserta adalah mahasiswa PG PAUD Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda. Lokasi pelaksanaan menggunakan tatap online. Pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan metode ceramah yaotu kegiatan Workshop. Dalam kegiatan Worksop memberikan gambaran dan informasi kepada mahasiswa bagaimana tepat memilih judul penelitian. Mengajarkan bagaimana menentukan judul penelitian yang diminati dan mampu diteliti. Dari hasil kegiatan dapat sebagian besar mahasiswa PG PAUD dapat menentukan dan membuat judul penelitian, yang didasari dengan menganalisis topik yang diminati dan masalah yang ditemukan dimasyarakat

    Backround: Parenting patterns during the pandemic are very much needed, both parents who work from home or who have started to go to work, need assistance and guidance when children are given smartphones so that children can follow the development of information media and technology positively. Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the type of parenting style for the use of smartphones in early childhood during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Vatika Family Development Group (BKB) in Sungai Kunjang District in 2021. Methods: The method used in this study was a qualitative method with a study approach. cases through interview and observation techniques on 6 informants, namely 3 parents of Vatika Family Development Group members who work, 2 caregivers who work with these parents, and 1 family member of the parents. Results: Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, in terms of smartphone use, the three main informants tend to be permissive because they allow children to use smartphones excessively, and there are no strict rules, controls, and supervision on the use of smartphones in their children so that children often play smartphones with intensity. tall one. This makes the child experience symptoms such as stinging in the eyes and pain in the neck. Conclusion: Parents do not provide strict and strict rules, but only situational, parents also lack supervision and assistance for children in using Smartphones. This study aims to determine the implementation of PAUD teacher learning motivation in Pembina Karangan State Kindergarten during the pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subject of the study was a Kindergarten teacher at Pembina Karangan. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the implementation of learning during the pandemic is increasing as a form of achievement motivation during the pandemic.     This study focuses on identifying how Early Childhood Education Institutions in the city of Samarinda carry out the learning process during the covid-19 pandemic. After the government rules to carry out learning from home. The emergence of learning from home rules makes educators have to keep innovating and being creative in carrying out the learning process. In order for children's rights to be fulfilled, the learning process from home is carried out online and offline. This study analyzes the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Early Childhood Education Institution. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, data collection techniques and research instruments using interview text using google form. This research uses triangulation technique. The results of the interviews were collected from seven Early Childhood Education Institutions, namely KB Al-Mardiah, KB Al-Hijrah, RA Mentari, TK Fastabiqul Khairat, TK Engang Putih, TK Tunas Harapan and TK Negri 11. The results of the identification of this study are 1) Child Education Institutions Early childhood in Samarinda City do a lot of digital learning processes or better known as online learning. What is considered closer to the face-to-face process, 2) assignments are still given in the form of student worksheets which are distributed at the beginning of the week and collected at the end of the week, and 3) meeting hours are much less with one hour meeting consisting of 10 minutes of opening, 40 minutes of core activities and 10 minutes closing. However, for offline learning, educators experience obstacles and difficulties, especially in understanding the implementation of the offline learning process and lack of good cooperation with parents

    Does price react to fixed price tender offer share buyback announcement?

    This paper investigates stock market reactions to share buyback announcements, specifically with the fixed price tender offer mechanism. An event study methodology was used to examine stock price reaction of 30 observations involving 21 listed companies surrounding the announcement dates. Two models, namely market adjusted return (MAR) and the single index market models (SIMM) were utilised to compute abnormal returns.Eventhough most literature in the western market found positive abnormal returns, this study reveals that investors gain zero abnormal returns out of these announcements. The post announcement result shows a zero abnormal return which implies that the Malaysian stock market is semi-strongly efficient due to this announcement. Finally, evidence also shows that none of the implications forwarded in the theories could be supported in this study
