    EVAH HANIPAH: STUDENTS’ PERSPECTIVE OF TEACHERS TEACHING STYLE ON VOCABULARY AT THE TENTH GRADE OF SMK SULTAN AGUNG SUMBER. This research about teachers teaching style on vocabulary, on the teaching vocabulary should have method, strategy or way to make students enjoy in learning. This research has the aims: 1). to find out the teachers teaching styles on vocabulary. 2). to find out the process of teachers teaching style on vocabulary. 3). to find out the students perspective of teachers teaching style on vocabulary. This research is qualitative research, and researcher uses the technique of collecting the data by using observation and interview to the teachers and students of tenth of SMK Sultan Agung Sumber. This research shows that the process of the English teachers they are Mr. Isnan, Mrs. Iis, and Miss. Tika. When they teach English language they use various method and uses different style but they have the similarity before they enter the class they have prepared well, in the teaching process they use warming up, elaboration and evaluation. They teach English use various methods, various ways, various strategies, and various media. Students feel enjoy when they learn English with their teacher, they study seriously but fun. Mr. Isnan has the routines activities on teaching vocabulary in the early enter the class he does drilling vocabulary with students and other teachers do not have special way but they teaching vocabulary directly, because vocabulary has relationship with other skills so when teach English teach vocabulary directly. Majority students interest with their teaching styles and methods although there are feeling boring and just so so. Students get the positive effect after they learn vocabulary; they can know more vocabulary, get new vocabulary, can speak English little beat and apply in their daily life. Thus, as teachers should use various methods, strategies, ways, and styles and also make students enjoy in class. For students should admire that as a student to be good students, be active students and make proud teachers and parents

    Inquiry Method and Reflective Practice In Teaching Engineering Field

    This paper reflects a research done on a cohort of engineering lecturers (20 new lecturers in mechanical engineering) with the aims of emergent the effectiveness of inquiry method and reflective practice in engineering field. Part one pealed the participatory action research design methodology and the reflective model used. It explored the notion of reflective practice and participatory action research and it impact to the innovative and creative teaching and strategies in respective engineering faculty. Part two discussed how the data was gathered. Part three illustrates how content analysis procedure used for data analysis to improve teaching knowledge base. Research finding, is in part four, it explained the introductory and advanced coaching during the cycle of participatory action research. The challenges faced by the practitioner of participatory action research were discussed on depth. All reflective journals of the 20 lecturers were analyzed and eight teaching knowledge bases were identified through content analysis. The fifth part, explained the reflected by lecturers was self-knowledge as lecturer, knowledge of learners and knowledge of context of industries. The role of peers, university supervisors in creating collaborative emergent the effectiveness of educational practice is discussed widely. Part six concluded that this study affirmed that participatory action research and reflective practice could be applied in engineering faculty as an appropriate means to enhance professional development among engineering lecturers

    Pedagogical framework on active learning in ordinary classroom

    Active learning methodology has become a preferred way to change the traditional teacher centered classroom into the newer student centered approach to learning. This paper describe the case study on some program on active learning in various faculty in Higher education in Malaysia. The statement of the problem in the program is how can an active learning methodology be implemented to assure that a student learns through the techniques established in active learning within a new pedagogical framework. This paper aim to present some ideas of how to use active learning techniques in the lectures in ordinary classroom in Malaysia (more than 30 students), and describe how training on active learning is successfully within twelve {12) programs during 201. the participants among engineering, information communication technology, management and entrepreneurship lecturers at Teknikal Universiti Malaysia Melaka, Cosmopoint International College, Polytechnic and Community College. They were more than 30-40 participants every training program. The main idea in the program is to use inductive, active learning, with many small exercises/ group discussions during the training session to show the example of how to apply some techniques in their own classroom. They were ten (10) actives learning frameworks/formats were introduced to the participants. More then 33 lesson plan in active learning develop and ready to use in ordinary classroom. The framework/format of active learning contains some visualize, design, and implement stage from the cooperative learning principle

    Perilaku Stereotype merupakan gerakan khas yang berulang seperti menggoyang-goyangkan tubuh, menekan-nekan bola mata, menggeleng-gelengkan kepala. salah satu penyebab terjadinya perilaku stereotype adalah kurangnya rangsangan penginderaan, kurangnya sosialisasi, kembali pada pola perilaku kebiasaan ketika mengalami stress.perilaku stereotype dapat diminimalisir bahkan dihilangkan dengan modifikasi perilaku dengan cara memberikan hukuman positif berupa teguran. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah apakah teknik teguran dapat mengurangi perilaku stereotype peserta didik totally blind. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan teguran dapat mengurangi perilaku stereotype pada peserta didik totally blind di SLB Negeri A Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dalam bentuk Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan cara observasi atau pengamatan secara langsung. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 2 subjek dalam satu kelas yang sama. Untuk hasil subjek yang pertama terjadi penurunan frekuensi kemunculan perilaku stereotype, hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil adanya perubahan rata-rata frekuensi perilaku stereotype sebelum dilakukan intevensi dan sesudah dilakukan inervensi, yakni dari 70 menjadi 39,16 yang artinya perilaku stereotype berkurang. Begitu juga dnegan subjek yang kedua, terjadi penurunan sebelum diberikan intervensi dan setelah diberikan intervensi, yakni dari 34,16 menjadi 10,5 dan ini artinya perilaku membaik atau terdapat penurunan perilaku stereotype. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian adalah penggunaan teknik teguran dapat mengurangi perilaku stereotype pada peserta didik totally blind di SLB Negeri A Kota Bandung. Disarankan bahwa pihak sekolah dan orang tua meneruskan memberikan hukuman positif berupa teguran ketika peserta didik melakukan perilaku stereotype

    HUBUNGAN ANTARA CITRA TUBUH DENGAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI

    Seiring dengan perkembangan fisik pada remaja, remaja pada umumnya mulai mengkhawatirkan perubahan bentuk tubuhnya dan membentuk perasaan atau persepsi mengenai tubuhnya yang disebut dengan citra tubuh. Citra tubuh negatif akan memengaruhi masalah kepercayaan diri remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara citra tubuh dengan kepercayaan diri di SMA Negeri 6 Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif korelasional dengan teknik non-probability sampling. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 223 orang. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: (1) secara umum gambaran citra tubuh siswa berada pada kategori positif dengan persentase sebesar 93,7%. (2) kepercayaan diri siswa berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 94,2%. (3) Berdasarkan hasil uji non-parametrik Spearman’s, diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar 0,567. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara citra tubuh dengan kepercayaan diri, artinya semakin positif citra tubuh siswa, maka semakin tinggi kepercayaan dirinya, begitu juga sebaliknya semakin negatif citra tubuh siswa, maka semakin rendah kepercayaan dirinya. Rekomendasi penelitian yang ditujukan kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling adalah dengan memberikan layanan dasar yang memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa mengenai pentingnya memiliki pandangan positif terhadap tubuh agar mampu mengaktualisasikan diri secara optimal.;--- Along with the physical development in adolescents, teenagers generally start worrying changes in body form and form the feeling or the perception of the body is called the body image. Negative body image have an impact on confidence issues.This study was aimed to determine the relationship between body image and confidence of students in SMAN 6 Bandung. The method used in this study was a correlational descriptive design with non-probability sampling techniques. The sample taken in this study was 223 people in total. Based on the analysis of the data, the results are as follows: (1) Generally, the description of students' body image is in positive category with a percentage of 93.7%. (2) The confidence of students is in the high category with a percentage of 94.2%. (3) Based on the results of Spearman's non-parametric test, the obtained correlation value is 0.567. These results indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between body image with self-confidence, which means that the more positive the body image of students is, the higher their confidence would be, and vice versa the more negative the body image of students is, the lower their confidence would be. Recommendations addressed to the teacher guidance and counseling is to provide basic services to give understanding to students about the importance of having a positive view of the body to be able to actualize themselves optimally

Carsiwan M.Pd Penelitian ini dilaksanakan akibat adanya penggunaan metode baru pada pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan selama pembelajaran online berlangsung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui keterampilan sosial siswa pada saat menggunakan metode blended learning khusuhnya pada mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan mengguanakan desain pre test apost test control group design yang yang dilakukan selama 16 pertemuan di SMP Negeri 12 Bandung. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX dengan sampel 30 orang siswa kelas IX F. pengambilan data yang dilakukan menggunakan kuisoner yang telah valid dan reliabel. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi software SPSS versi 25. Hasil uji hipotesis paired simple t test menunjukan hasil signifikasi (2-tailed) yang didapatkan sebeasar 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya penggunaan metode blended learning pada mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan sosial siswa. Sehingga metode bleanded learning efektif dilakukan dalam mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani kesehatan dan olahraga khususnya dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa. This research is experimental research using a pre-test, post-test, and control group design which was carried out for 16 meetings at SMP Negeri 12 Bandung. The sample of the research was 30 students. . The population of this study was students of class IX with a sample of 30 students of class IX F. Data collection was carried out using valid and reliable questionnaires. Data processing in this study used the SPSS version 25 software application. The results of the hypothesis test. The results of the research showed that the t test has a significant (2-tailed) result that was 0.000 < 0.05, which means that the use of blended learning methods in sports and health physical education subjects has an effect on students' social skills. So that the blended learning method is effective in physical education subjects, health and sports, especially in improving students' social skills.
