    WICI, the world’s business reporting network, is a private/public sector collaboration aimed at improving capital allocation through better corporate reporting information. To achieve this vision we have three major goals: The first is to develop a voluntary global framework for measuring and reporting corporate performance to shareholders and other stakeholders. Throughout the world, different terms such as opportunities, risks, strategies, plans, intellectual assets/capital, intangibles or value drivers are often used to describe some of the concepts within corporate performance. The second is to develop guidelines for measuring and reporting on industry-specific key performance indicators. The third is to facilitate the development of XBRL taxonomies for this content. We believe that such better information will improve capital allocation decisions both within companies and between investors and companies. The result will be more wealth creation for a better world economy

    International audienceThis paper outlines the roadmap towards the redefinition of the second, which was recently updated by the CCTF Task Force created by the CCTF in 2020. The main achievements and the open challenges related to the status of the optical frequency standards, their contribution to time scales and UTC, the possibility of their comparison and the knowledge of the Earth's gravitational potential at the necessary level of uncertainty are discussed. In addition, the mandatory criteria to be achieved before redefinition and their current fulfilment level, together with the redefinition options based on a single or on a set of transitions are described

    This has been the Year of the Baryon. Some low temperature ones were seen at high redshift, some high temperature ones were seen at low redshift, and some cooling ones were (probably) reheated. Astronomers saw the back of the Sun (which is also made of baryons), a possible solution to the problem of ejection of material by Type II Supernovae (in which neutrinos push out baryons), the production of R Coronae Borealis stars (previously-owned baryons), and perhaps found the missing satellite galaxies (whose failing is that they have no baryons). A few questions were left unanswered for next year, and an attempt is made to discuss these as well
