    INVESTIGATING THE LEVEL OF BURNOUT AND INFLUENCING FACTORS ON IT AMONG THE WORKERS: CASE STUDY THE PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRIES NATIONAL COMPANY

    This study is done with the purpose of investigation the level of burnout and influencing factors on it. The method used is measuring or filed-finding, descriptive studies type and the statistic society is made of the entire official and non-official workers in the petrochemical industries national company in the year (2009) including 6901people in the main office and 12 subsidiary companies who are working. The estimation of the sample volume is made using the cochran formula by the volume of 1742 people and the accidental class and the domesticated form of the Maslach Burn Out Inventory has been used for gathering the dependant variant data of the study. In this study the relevance or effect of 20 independent variables on the burnout and its constituents was investigated. In the two variable tests, the emotional commitment had a reverse relation with burnout. So that with the increase of the interest and bind of the workers to the organization, the level of burnout decreased. In analyzing the step by step regression of the burnout according to the expected variables, 41percent of the explained burnout (R 2 =41%), and ranking the amount of the standard coefficient, the main elements like the nature of the job, emotional commitment, work environment, job security, coworkers, education, job type, salary and the premium and job independence in the remaining regression equation and on the burnout variable have been influencing.burnout, emotional commitment, job satisfaction, job motivation, job content.

    The title compound, C16H14O5, is a triclinic polymorph of a previously reported monoclinic structure [Hosseinzadeh et al. (2011 ▶). Acta Cryst. E67, o1544]. The mol­ecule is roughly planar, the r.m.s. deviation from the least-squares plane of all non-H atoms being 0.092 Å. In the crystal, adjacent mol­ecules are linked through C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds into an infinite two-dimensional network parallel to (011). The layers are further connected via C—H⋯π inter­actions, forming a three-dimensional structure. Intra­molecular O—H⋯O and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds are also observed

    Comparison of Tabriz Metropolitan Drinking Water Utilities with Water Utilities in the United States by using Performance Method

    Nowadays the proficient maintenance of water network infrastructure is vital in sustainable urban development and is among the obligations of urban management which should be considered by responsible organizations. Accordingly, in this paper, by using the performance benchmarking method, Tabriz water utility was compared in graph basis to seven US water utility infrastructures based on the main indicators including: 1. Water resources, 2. Personnel information, 3. Physical components, 4. Service quality, 5. Executive performance, 6. Customer Services, and 7. Financial performance. The results showed that in comparison, Tabriz water utility suffers from major problems in terms of uncontrolled use of water resources in Tabriz city, high quantity of water loss, absence of wastewater recycling, erosion in network and water reservoirs in some areas, increased water demand due to the construction of new townships, and lack of adequate funding for network development. Accordingly, funds and investments are required to prevent the consequences of the aforementioned issues based on the proposed methodology. This methodology is found to be a very effective tool for decision makers and experts and can be applied for other cities and regions.

    Supply and maintenance of urban drinking water utilities are the most important priorities of people in the world especially in urban areas and it is very clear for urban planners or decision makers to evaluate the costs of action or weigh them against the problems of inaction. Also, specific annual budget is essential for ensuring people welfare and using water utilities with good quality. There are different issues in relation to managing of urban water utilities in terms of cultural, social, physical, environmental and even political and it is necessary to assess the existing conditions of utility by authorities and experts for making decision about those applications. So, we introduce Performance Benchmarking method for reaching this aim. This method is one of the best and update solutions in analyzing drinking water utility in developed countries especially in United State of America. So, in this paper, seven drinking water utilities of United State have been compared with Tabriz metropolitan drinking water utility that is located in North West of Iran and results of indicators’ performance have been comparatively explained. Also, Results show that Tabriz metropolitan drinking water utilities are low advanced in terms of many indicators’ performance than seven United States drinking water utilities. But, in some indexes almost equal to and in certain other cases are advanced than it. However, this methodology is very effective for decision makers, responsible and other experts in all regions and this model can be applied for other cities and urban areas

    Preparation and evaluation of a thermosensitive liposomal hydrogel for sustained delivery of danofloxacin using mesoporous silica nanoparticles

    BACKGROUND: Sustained release delivery system can reduce the dosage frequency and maintain the therapeutic level of drugs for a longer time. Biodegradable, biocompatible and thermosensitive chitosan-beta-glycerophosphate (C-GP) solutions can solidify at body temperature and maintain their physical integrity for a longer duration. OBJECTIVES: To develop a novel delivery system based on the integration of liposomes in hydrogel using mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) for sustained release of danofloxacin in farm animals. METHODS: The MSNs were prepared using N-cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and tetraethylortho silica. The liposomes were prepared by thin film hydration method. C-GP solution containing danofloxacin-loaded MSN liposomes underwent different in-vitro tests, including evaluation of the entrapment efficiency, gelation time, morphology, drug release pattern as well as antimicrobial activities against S. aureus and E. coli. RESULTS: The mean pore size of MSNs was 2.8 nm and the mean MSN entrapment efficiency was 45%. Kinetics of danofloxacin release from liposomal hydrogel followed the Higuchi’s model. This formulation was capable of sustaining the danofloxacin release for more than 96 h. The FTIR studies showed that there were no interactions between danofloxacin and hydrogel excipients. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that the formed gel had a continuous texture, while the swelled gel in the phosphate buffer had a porous structure. Microbiological tests revealed a high antibacterial activity for lipomosal hydrogel of danofloxacin-loaded MSN comparable with danofloxacin solution. CONCLUSIONS: The liposomal hydrogel solidified at body temperature, effectively sustained the release of danofloxacin and showed in vitro antibacterial effects
