Pengembangan Dan Penerapan Modul Pembelajaran Materi Teori Dasar Bentuk Muka Bumi Untuk Meningkatkan Kognitif Mahasiswa Pendidikan Mipa Fkip Unigha Sigli
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul dan meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif mahasiswa melalui penerapan modul. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yaitu pengembangan modul pembelajaran dan penerapan modul dilakukan dengan metode pre-eksperimen dengan The Randomized Pre-test Post-test, Control Group Design yang dilaksanakan di Prodi Pendidikan MIPA FKIP UNIGHA Sigli, yaitu pada mahasiswa semester ganjil Tahun Akademik 2014/2015 semester III (tiga) dengan jumlah sampel 60 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes awal dan tes akhir untuk peningkatan kognitif, lembar observasi untuk mengetahui kegiatan dosen dan mahasiswa selama proses belajar mengajar. Data penelitian yang didapatkan dianalisis secara deskriptif persentase. Hasil uji kelayakan modul oleh pakar Konten 84,10%, pakar penyajian 88,21%, dan pakar bahasa 89,17%. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal. Peningkatan kognitif mahasiswa berdasarkan ranah kognitif meningkat dengan kategori tinggi pada ranah aplikasi (C3) yaitu 63% dan kategori rendah pada ranah pengetahuan (C1) yaitu 57%. Peningkatan kognitif mahasiswa berdasarkan indikator meningkat pada indikator Mahasiswa mampu memahami konsep getaran yang ditimbulkan dari dalam bumi, merambat dan menyebabkan pergeseran kulit bumi mencapai 70% dengan kategori tinggi
In vitro inhibition of Helicobacter pylori urease with non and semi fermented Camellia sinensis
Purpose: Helicobacter pylori is the etiological agent in duodenal and peptic ulcers. The growing problem of antibiotic resistance by the organism demands the search for novel compounds, especially from natural sources. This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of Camellia sinensis extracts on the urease enzyme that is a major colonization factor for H. pylori. Methods: Minimum inhibitory concentrations of nonfermented and semifermented C. sinensis methanol: water extracts were assessed by broth dilution method. Examination of the urease function was performed by Mc Laren method, and urease production was detected on 12% SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis from whole cell and membrane bound proteins. Results: Both extracts had inhibitory effects against H. pylori and urease production. At a concentration of 2.5 mg/ml of nonfermented extract and 3.5 mg/ml of semifermented extract the production of Ure A and Ure B subunits of the urease enzyme were inhibited completely. A concentration of 4 mg/ml of nonfermented and 5.5 mg/ml of semifermented extract were bactericidal for H. pylori. Conclusions: C. sinensis extracts, especially the nonfermented, could reduce H. pylori population and inhibit urease production at lower concentrations. The superior effect of nonfermented extract is due to its rich polyphenolic compounds and catechin contents

Now it is very difficult to get a job, especially in big cities such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung and others. Where in the major cities are very tight competition in getting a job. Besides the difficulty of finding a job is also affected by a series of tests that must be passed to obtain a job. One of the tests is quite difficult to deal with is the psychological test.Psychological test is a test to measure the psychological aspects of the individual. The purpose is to measure the psychological test on a wide range of possible mental ability of people and supporting factors such as achievement, ability, personality, learning style, intelligence, interests and talents. Therefore, psychological company needs to know how the character and ability of emplooye candidates.Through this study, the authors wanted to build an Android-based application that can be used to practice psychological test is "Learning Psychotest". Application Learning Psychotest will have several features including psychological training issues, guide how to do the psycho test, and tips about psychological test. This application is expected later can help users of mobile devices based on android who wants to learn and practice the psychological test. This Psychotest Learning Applications will be made using the App Inventor beta. With App Inventor beta, we can create an android application without using coding
Energy-Efficient Heterogeneous Cellular Networks with Spectrum Underlay and Overlay Access
In this paper, we provide joint subcarrier assignment and power allocation
schemes for quality-of-service (QoS)-constrained energy-efficiency (EE)
optimization in the downlink of an orthogonal frequency division multiple
access (OFDMA)-based two-tier heterogeneous cellular network (HCN). Considering
underlay transmission, where spectrum-efficiency (SE) is fully exploited, the
EE solution involves tackling a complex mixed-combinatorial and non-convex
optimization problem. With appropriate decomposition of the original problem
and leveraging on the quasi-concavity of the EE function, we propose a
dual-layer resource allocation approach and provide a complete solution using
difference-of-two-concave-functions approximation, successive convex
approximation, and gradient-search methods. On the other hand, the inherent
inter-tier interference from spectrum underlay access may degrade EE
particularly under dense small-cell deployment and large bandwidth utilization.
We therefore develop a novel resource allocation approach based on the concepts
of spectrum overlay access and resource efficiency (RE) (normalized EE-SE
trade-off). Specifically, the optimization procedure is separated in this case
such that the macro-cell optimal RE and corresponding bandwidth is first
determined, then the EE of small-cells utilizing the remaining spectrum is
maximized. Simulation results confirm the theoretical findings and demonstrate
that the proposed resource allocation schemes can approach the optimal EE with
each strategy being superior under certain system settings

On the Design of Irregular HetNets with Flow-Level Traffic Dynamics
The application of stochastic geometry theory for the study of cellular networks has gained huge popularity recently. Most existing works however rely on unrealistic assumptions concerning the underlying user traffic model. This paper aims to make a step in this direction by devising a new model for the performance analysis and optimization of heterogeneous cellular networks (HetNets) with irregular BS deployment and flow- level traffic dynamics. We provide a unified methodology for the evaluation of the flow rate with closed-form expressions of the useful signal power and aggregate network interference over Nakagami-m fading channels.
