In this work I design an information system for communication in a small company with ambiguous communication channels. A lot of communication noise, which reduces the effectiveness of management and employees is created through the company. System designed in this work should solve the problems and improve company‘s performance. The result is an analysis of problems and needs of the company together with a complete system design - description of functionalities and their behavior, graphic design of the solution and recommendation of technology for development. In conclusion, I evaluate the economic impact on the company.

This bachelor thesis mainly deals with the analysis of the Slovak economy since the introduction of the Euro on January 1, 2009 until the January 2015. Thesis further deals with the brief history of the European monetary integration, integration of the Euro in Slovakia and how the development of the Slovak economy was since its independence in 1993 until the introduction of the Euro. It presents how Slovakia was dealing with the meeting of Maastricht criteria and the preparation of citizens of Slovakia for a new currency. In thesis is also stated the impact of the economic crisis on Slovak economy and the impact of the crisis on public finances of the whole Eurozone. It explains European rescue funds the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) and the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) and how Slovakia dealt with the introduction of these funds. The analysis itself deals with the development of the Slovak economy, especially the development of the foreign trade and the GDP. The analytical part of the thesis compares the current situation in Slovakia concerning the inflation, growth of minimum wages, labor productivity per hour, growth of the GDP, total public debt and unemployment with the situation in other countries of the Eurozone. In the last chapter are stated opinions of experts about the present and the future situation of the Euro

    Aryanization in Slovakia 1939-1945

A part of economic program of the governmental totalitarian regime in Slovakia after October 1938 was gaining control of Jewish community possessions, i.e. so called aryanization. The original moderate conceptions of aryanization from era of Slovak autonomy 1938/39 were extended and deepened. A turning point came after the inception of Slovak Republic during the war in March 1939 when systematic attacks started and included all kinds of Jewish possessions on the basis of contemporary anti-Jewish legislation. Aryanization of a gradual so called evolutionary way according to the plans of moderate governmental garniture wing changed in mid 1940 under pressure of radical forces into so called revolutionary aryanization according to the model of Nazi Germany. The radical way of aryanization meant total dispossession and nationalization of all kinds of Jewish possessions. The task of the main arizator was performed by state which in different forms drew millions from the nationalized Jewish wealth until 1945.aryanization, Jews, possessions

Ischemic colitis caused increased early and delayed mortality

    No full text
Abstract Background Ischemic colitis remains a challenge for the surgeon, both in its diagnosis and treatment. Data from a single tertiary center, of patients diagnosed with ischemic colitis, was collected. An attempt was made to delineate the patients requiring surgical intervention. Methods A retrospective study was undertaken in patients diagnosed with ischemic colitis admitted to Rambam Health Care Campus between 2011 and 2016. The primary outcome was defined as mortality. Secondary outcomes were defined as complications during conservative treatment and postoperative course. Results Sixty-three patients were diagnosed with ischemic colitis during the study period. The mean age at presentation was 72.5 years, with a female predominance (62%). The overall mortality rate was 29% (18/63). Six patients (50%) of those operated died. An older age, comorbidities and higher lactate levels present risk factors for a worse outcome. Conclusions Ischemic colitis continues to present a challenge in its management. A better understanding of the disease process is required. And one needs to adhere to sound surgical principles for a timely diagnosis and treatment, especially in older patients with worrisome clinical, laboratory, and imaging features

Geometrical Configuration of Cabling as Factor Influencing the Reproducibility of EMC Immunity Tests

    Get PDF
The paper deals with analysis of the influence of geometrical configuration of device cabling upon voltages induced in cable interfaces. The analyzed properties are the cable height and the cable length for common mode disturbance, and the loop width for differential mode disturbance. The analysis is solved both by analytical calculation and by numerical simulation. Achieved results are compared mutually as well as with results obtained by measurements performed according to standardized procedures. Finally the analyzed parameters are ordered in correspondence of their importance for objectivity and reproducibility of immunity tests against electromagnetic field
