    Sustainable industrial development requires a balance between economic growth, equity and environment. Two major components of industrial development are energy and raw materials. To minimize the environmental impacts of energy and raw materials, important steps are required to deal with the green economy and global warming issues. The use of innovation technology to industrial gas emission is a preventive solution facing global warming. A research has been done in Industrial Estate in Cilegon (IEC) Banten province, Indonesia, to see how to reduce energy demand and encourage uses of more environmentally-friendly energy in the estate. Fossil energy needs in the industrial estate were analyzed to see the opportunities of energy saving and renewable energy development.     Forum Bina Lingkungan (Forum Bilik) sebagai manifestasi partisipasi stakeholder dalam pengelolaan lingkungan hidup merupakan salah satu strategi pengawasan dan pengendalian pencemaran air dalam pengelolaan sungai. Forum Bilik dibentuk di sekitar sub daerah aliran sungai dengan keanggotaan terdiri dari masyarakat (tokoh-tokoh masyarakat, pemerhati lingkungan) dan pengusaha/ industriawan. Melalui penelitian studi kasus terhadap partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan lingkungan hidup akan dikaji kinerja forum bina lingkungan (bilik) dalam pengawasan pencemaran air sungai. Fokus penelitian yaitu mendeskripsikan realita yang terjadi di wilayah studi atas kinerja forum bilik dalam pengawasan dan pengendalian pencemaran air sungai.     Employee is a main asset who have an important role in the development and the future of thecompany. One factor that determined employee's performance is job satisfaction. Job satisfaction atPatra Jasa Semarang Convention Hotel has been fluctuated. It can be seen from absenteeism andemployees performance evaluation.The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of work behavior and participative leadershipstyle to job satisfaction at permanent employees Patra Jasa Semarang Convention Hotel. The type of thisresearch is explanatory with the number of respondents were 108 permanent employees. The samplingmethod using saturated sampling technique. The analytical method in this study are correlationcoefficient, determination coefficient, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test, F testand classical assumption with the help of IBM SPSS program.The results of this study are positive corelation between of work behavior and participative leadershipstyle to work behavior partially and simultaneously. Based on the results of the regression analysis, it isknown that the variable behavior of labor and participative leadership style influence on job satisfactionwith a coefficient of 0.209 and 0.608. The advice given to the company is the company must considercultural approaching to motivate the employee to understand the command of leader and there is neededa teamwork and good comunication between leader and employee

    The increasing of people's mobility encourages the high demand for transportation services. The competition between modes of transportation specially land transportation is very keen. One of transportations that became the choice of Indonesian people to do their activities is a bus. The number of PO. Nusantara's passengers has decreased since 2014 – 2016. In 2014 to 2015 the number of passenger decreased by 5.01% and in 2015 to 2016 decreased by 6.34%. This study is aimed to identify the effect of brand image and service quality to decision of using P.O Nusantara executive class by route of Semarang-Jakarta. The type of research is explanatory research. The sample used is 100 respondents. The sampling techniques is purposive and accidental sampling. The technique analysis are crosstab, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test and F test with the SPSS program. The result showed that there is a positive influence between brand image and service quality toward USAge decision. Based on the results of simple regression analysis, it is known that brand image has influence on USAge decision with coefficient of 0,229, while service quality influence USAge decision of 0.100. This research recommends PO. Nusantara to strengthen its brand image by renewing the bus design so that consumers are able to clearly distinguish bus of PO. Nusantara with competitor bus. Improvements of service quality are also required, especially the timeliness of departure and arrival time, and also the cleanliness and cosiness of the departure lounge

    JEJAK KARBON PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH DI KOTA MALANG BERBASIS PENGOLAHAN

    Peningkatan timbulan sampah karena pertumbuhan penduduk dan meningkatnya pola konsumsi menyebabkan pencemaran dan kerusakan lingkungan seperti pencemaran air dan tanah oleh lindi, dan pencemaran dalam lingkup global karena emisi gas metana (CH4) dan gas karbon dioksida (CO2) dari timbunan sampah di TPA sebagai hasil dekomposisi sampah organik. Kedua komponen gas rumah kaca (GRK) tersebut merupakan jejak karbon yang berkontribusi terhadap pemanasan global. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengembangkan model dinamik jejak karbon pengelolaan sampah untuk menganalisis dan memprediksi jejak karbon yang dihasilkan oleh pengelolaan sampah pada tahun 2012 dan 10 tahun yang akan datang jika diterapkan skenario pengolahan sampah cara daur ulang dari hulu hingga hilir. Penelitian dilakukan di Kota Malang karena adanya pengolahan sampah di hulu oleh warga dan di hilir oleh pengelola di 11 TPS dan TPA Urang. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode dinamik dan pendekatan penilaian daur hidup. Tahapannya mengikuti ISO 14040 (1997). Jejak karbon dari gas metana di TPA dianalisis berdasarkan model persamaan yang dikembangkan oleh IPPC (2001), dan jejak karbon daur ulang dianalisis dengan pendekatan penilaian daur hidup berdasarkan persamaan yang dikembangkan oleh CEPA (2011) dan faktor emisi berdasarkan Ifeu (2009). Model dinamis jejak karbon dibuat dengan perangkat lunak Stella 9.1.3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jejak karbon pengelolaan sampah pada tahun 2012 (Skenario 1) adalah 192.291,19 tCO2e dan pada 10 tahun yang akan datang adalah 254.548,93 tCO2e (> 32,19%) sehingga semakin meningkatkan potensi pemanasan global. Penerapan Skenario 2 dan Skenario 3 menghasilkan jejak karbon 134.290,38 tCO2e ( < 30,16 %) dan 37.741,56 tCO2e (< 80,37%). Pengolahan sampah juga meningkatkan masa layan TPA Supit Urang dari 10,86 tahun (Skenario 1) menjadi 15,21 tahun (Skenario 2) dan 24,01 tahun (Skenario 3). Sebagai rekomendasi, jejak karbon dan masa layan TPA dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan perencanaan pengelolaan sampah terpadu yang berkelanjutan dengan menyusun beberapa skenario penanganan sampah. Kata kunci: pengelolaan sampah terpadu, jejak karbon, emisi gas rumah kaca masa layan Increased waste generation due to population growth and increasing consumption patterns cause pollution and degradation such as water and soil contamination by leachate, and the pollution in global scale due to the emission of methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) from the waste in the landfill as a result of decomposition organic waste. Both greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions is a carbon footprint that contributes to global warming. The study purposed to develop a dynamic model of the carbon footprint of waste management to predict the carbon footprint generated by waste management at 2012 and in the next 10 years through the application of waste recycling from upstream to downstream. The study was conducted in Malang due to waste processing in the upstream by residents and downstream in 11 temporary waste stations and landfill Supit Urang. Type of the research was descriptive quantitative by using dynamic method and life cycle assessment (LCA) approach. The steps follow ISO 14040 (1997). The production of methane (CH4) in the landfill were analyzed using the model equations developed by IPPC (2001) and the reduction of the carbon footprint were analyzed using the model equations developed by CEPA (2011) and GHG emission factors developed by Ifeu (2009). Dynamic model of the carbon footprint created by the software Stella 9.1.3. The study revealed that carbon footprint of waste management at 2012 (Scenario 1) is 192,291.19 tCO2e and in the next 10 years is 254,548.93 tCO2e (>32.19%). Application of Scenario 2 and Scenario 3 produces carbon footprint 134,290.38 tCO2e (<30.16%) and 37,741.56 tCO2e (<80.37%). Recycling activities are also increasing the service life of the landfill Supit Urang from 10.86 years (Scenario 1) to 15.21 years (Scenario 2) and 24.01 years (Scenario 3). As a recommendation, carbon footprint and landfill life span can be used as a reference for planning sustainable waste management by arranging several waste management scenarios.     Purchasing decision is the goal which every company has to achieve. KM. Egon PELNI must incorporate many factors which influence the purchasing decision. Moreover, the ship transportation is currently not priority for people.This purpose of this study is to determine the effect of brand image and service quality on purchase decision KM. Egon PELNI. This type of research is explanatory research. The sample used is 100 respondents. The sampling techniques is accidental sampling. The data collection techniques are questionnaire and literature review. Data analysis techniques are correlation, classic assumption, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t and f test with IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) program version 19.0.Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the brand image and service quality positively affects the purchase decision through testing simple linear regression produce regression value of 0.712 and 0.662. The advice proposed to the company are to strengthen the brand image of product and to evaluate its service quality
