Common fixed point theorems for pairs of single and multivalued D-maps satisfying an integral type
This contribution is a continuation of [1, 3, 14]. The concept of subcom-
patibility between single maps and between single and multivalued maps is
used as a tool for proving existence and uniqueness of common fixed points
on complete metric and symmetric spaces. Extensions of known results, in
particularly results given by Djoudi and Aliouche, Elamrani and Mehdaoui,
Pathak et al. are thereby obtained
Common fixed point theorems for single and set-valued maps satisfying a strict contractive condition
Some new common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible single and
set-valued mappings under strict contractive conditions are obtained. Our
results extend, improve and complement the result of Fisher [3] and the
recent one due to Ahmed [2] and others
DOI:10.2298/FIL0903115B ON UNIQUE COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR THREE AND FOUR SELF MAPPINGS
In this contribution, two unique common fixed point theorems for three and four self mappings are given which improve and extend the results of Aage and Salunke [1] and others.
More general common fixed point theorems under a new concept
A general common fixed point theorem for two pairs of weakly subsequentially continuous mappings (recently introduced) satisfying a significant estimated implicit function is proved. An extension of this result is thereby obtained. Our results assert the existence and uniqueness of common fixed points in several cases
COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR PAIRS OF SUBCOMPATIBLE MAPS
In this paper, we introduce the new concepts of subcompatibility and subsequential continuity which are respectively weaker than occasionally weak compatibility and reciprocal continuity. With them, we establish a common fixed point theorem for four maps in a metric space which improves a recent result of Jungck and Rhoades [7]. Also we give another common fixed point theorem for two pairs of subcompatible maps of Greguˇs type which extends results of the same authors, Djoudi and Nisse [3], Pathak et al. [12] and others and we end our work by giving a third result which generalizes results of Mbarki [8] and others. Key words and phrases: Commuting and weakly commuting maps, compatible and compatible maps of type (A), (B), (C) and (P), weakly compatible maps, occasionally weakly compatible maps, subcompatible maps, subsequentially continuous maps, coincidence point, common fixed point, Greguˇs type
