In the title centrosymmetric binuclear AgI complex, [Ag2(C12H10N4)2](ClO4)2, each AgI center is two-coordinated by one pyridine and one benzotriazole N-donor atom of two inversion-related 1-(2-pyridylmethyl)-1H-benzotriazole (L) ligands. This forms a unique box-like cyclic dimer with an intramolecular Ag⋯Ag separation of 4.479 (2) Å. Intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen-bonding interactions, involving uncoordinated ClO4 − ions, link the binuclear units, forming a two-dimensional network parallel to (10)

On determination of the geometric cosmological constant from the OPERA experiment of superluminal neutrinos

The recent OPERA experiment of superluminal neutrinos has deep consequences in cosmology. In cosmology a fundamental constant is the cosmological constant. From observations one can estimate the effective cosmological constant Λeff\Lambda_{eff} which is the sum of the quantum zero point energy Λdarkenergy\Lambda_{dark energy} and the geometric cosmological constant Λ\Lambda. The OPERA experiment can be applied to determine the geometric cosmological constant Λ\Lambda. It is the first time to distinguish the contributions of Λ\Lambda and Λdarkenergy\Lambda_{dark energy} from each other by experiment. The determination is based on an explanation of the OPERA experiment in the framework of Special Relativity with de Sitter space-time symmetry.Comment: 7 pages, no figure

Axial gravitational quasinormal modes of a self-dual black hole in loop quantum gravity

We study the axial gravitational quasinormal modes of a self-dual black hole in loop quantum gravity. Considering the axial perturbation of the background spacetime, we obtain the Schr\"{o}dinger-like master equation. Then we calculate the quasinormal frequencies with the Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin approximation and the asymptotic iteration method. We also investigate the numerical evolution of an initial wave packet on the self-dual black hole spacetime.~We find the quantum correction parameter PP positively affects the absolute values of both the real and imaginary parts of quasinormal frequencies. We derive the relation between the parameters of the circular null geodesics and quasinormal frequencies in the eikonal limit for the self-dual black hole, and numerically verify this relation.Comment: 13 pages, 5 figures, 5 table

A phenomenology analysis of the tachyon warm inflation in loop quantum cosmology

We investigate the warm inflation condition in loop quantum cosmology. In our consideration, the system is described by a tachyon field interacted with radiation. The exponential potential function, V(\phi)=V_0 e^{-\alpha\phi}\label{exp-p}, with the same order parameters V0V_0 and α\alpha, is taken as an example of this tachyon warm inflation model. We find that, for the strong dissipative regime, the total number of e-folds is less than the one in the classical scenario, and for the weak dissipative regime, the beginning time of the warm inflation will be later than the tachyon (cool) inflation.Comment: 7 pages, accepted for publication in Physics Letters

The binuclear title complex, [Hg2(C10H14N2O8)2(C18H18N4)]·2CH3OH, lies on an inversion center with the unique HgII ion coordinated in a disorted octahedral environment with one Hg—N bond significantly shorter than the other two. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link complex and solvent molecules into a three-dimensional network

Quantum Key Distribution and Quantum Authentication Based on Entangled State

    Get PDF
Using the previously shared Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen pairs, a proposal which can be used to distribute a quantum key and identify the user's identification simultaneously is presented. In this scheme, two local unitary operations and the Bell state measurement are used. Combined with quantum memories, a cryptographic network is proposed. One advantage is no classical communication is needed, which make the scheme more secure. The secure analysis of this scheme is shown.Comment: Revtex, 9 pages, no figure, accepted for publication by Phys. Lett.

An efficient quantum secret sharing scheme with Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Pairs

An efficient quantum secret sharing scheme is proposed. In this scheme, the particles in an entangled pair group form two particle sequences. One sequence is sent to Bob and the other is sent to Charlie after rearranging the particle orders. Bob and Charlie make coding unitary operations and send the particles back. Alice makes Bell-basis measurement to read their coding operations.Comment: 7 pages 2 figures. The revised version of the paper published in Physics Letters A 340 (2005) 43-50.
