    Invariant Smooth Quartic Surfaces by all Finite Primitive Groups of PGL4(C)\operatorname{PGL}_4(\mathbb{C})

    For each finite primitive subgroup GG of PGL4(C)\operatorname{PGL}_4(\mathbb{C}), we find all the smooth GG-invariant quartic surfaces. We also find all the faithful representations in PGL4(C)\operatorname{PGL}_4(\mathbb{C}) of the smooth quartic GG-invariant surfaces by the groups: A5,S5,PSL2(F7),A6,Z24Z5\mathfrak{A}_5,\mathfrak{S}_5, \operatorname{PSL_2(\mathbb{F}_7)},\mathfrak{A}_6,\mathbb{Z}_2^4\rtimes\mathbb{Z}_5 and Z24D10\mathbb{Z}_2^4\rtimes D_{10}. The primitive representation of these groups are precisely the subgroups of PGL4(C)\operatorname{PGL}_4(\mathbb{C}) for which P3\mathbb{P}^3 is not GG-super rigid. As a byproduct, we show that the smooth quartic surface with the biggest group of projective automorphism is given by {x04+x14+x24+x34+12x0x1x2x3=0}\{ x_0^4 + x_1^4 + x_2^4 + x_3^4 + 12 x_0 x_1 x_2 x_3= 0\} (unique up to projective equivalence).Comment: 22 pages, comments are welcom

    Design and Implementation of a Computer Vision System for an Autonomous Chess-Playing Robot

    This work describes a mechatronic system composed by a robot arm that can play chess autonomously. The system is based on an industrial-grade robot manipulator, a computer vision system, and an open source chess engine. Classification algorithms were implemented in order to detect whether a given chessboard square is occupied, and in that case, if the piece is black or white. Such algorithms were compared in terms of their complexity of implementation, execution time and accuracy of predictions. To achieve an uniform illumination of the chessboard, a theoretical model of an LED illuminance curve was used to find the best orientation for each diode using a genetic algorithm. Both the support base for the LEDs and the chess pieces were made using a 3D printer. This implementation demonstrates the capabilities of the proposed vision-based system, whose complexity can be increased in the future for a number of applications.Facultad de Informátic

    En este trabajo se explica el concepto de renta fija, y se exponen tanto los principales instrumentos en los que se materializa como los mercados en los que se opera con esta clase de activos. Respecto de los instrumentos, se comentan los principales títulos tanto de renta fija pública, que son los que conforman gran parte de la deuda pública del país, como de renta fija privada, emitida principalmente por grandes empresas. Se analiza la rentabilidad, la fiscalidad y los distintos riesgos existentes al invertir en títulos de renta fija, variables que un inversor debe tener en cuenta a la hora de operar en los mercados.
