The compensation by the process intermittent gagging is a procedure to compensate
machining errors using the machine tool to inspect the semi-finished cut and adjusts the
tool path in the finished cut. On machine measurement can detect only errors caused by:
tool wear and tool imperfect geometry and tool-part deflection under machining loads.
These errors are divided into two components: one R ε depends on the depth of cut and
other 0 ε independent of the depth of cut. OMM inspection produced only the
combination T ε of these errors, the separation procedure is based on the depth of cut
cancelling for a short inspectable profile and 0 ε is the correspond error detected. Linear
relationship between the depth of cut and R ε is considered for each nominal position.
Therefore, tool path adjustment of the finished cut is calculated using these two errors
and by introducing the depth of cut effect. Three methods are developed in this paper: the
first measure the actual depth of cut by inspection before and after machining, the second
ignore one inspection to reduce the unproductive time and the third introduced the
variation of the part rigidity caused by material removing. Experimental validation for the
linear and circular profiles shows the effectiveness of the proposed strategy
Pour une plaque mince de forme libre semblable à un profil aérodynamique, représenté par B-Spline, l'amélioration est de 140 μm à ± 20 μm.----------"ABSTRACT:" On-machine measurement process is used to inspect the part immediately after the cut without part removal and additional setups. It detects the machining defects visible to the machine tool. The system machine-tool-part deflection and the cutting tool dimension inaccuracy are the most important sources of these defects. The machined part can be inspected, at the semi-finishing cut level to identify systematic defects that may occur later at the finishing cut. Therefore, corrective actions can be derived to anticipate the expected error in order to produce a part with acceptable accuracy. For industrial profitability, the measurement and the compensation tasks must be done under the closed door machining requirement without human interventions.
This thesis aims to develop mathematical models that use the data inspection of previous cuts to formulate the compensation of the finishing-cut. The goal of the compensation is to anticipate the expected error which is identified under two components. One is independent on the depth of cut and is related to the cutting tool dimension such as the wear. The other is dependent on the cutting depth such as the deflection. A general model is presented which relies solely on-machine probing data from semi-finishing cuts to compensate the final cut. A variable cutting compliance coefficient relates the total system deflection to the depth of cut in multi-cut process. It is used to estimate the compensation of the tool path. The model is able to take into account the effect of the cutting depth variation and the material removal in the estimation of the error at the finishing-cut. In order to generate the continuous compensated tool path from discrete measurements, a B-Spline deformation technique is adapted to the available data and applied to compute the compensated tool path according to a restricted number of discrete compensation vectors.
The results show that the on-machine probed errors can be significantly reduced using the proposed compensation model. The coordinate measurement machine is used to verify the on machine measurement of a ring gauge. For a simple straight thin wall, an error of 78 μm is reduced to less than ± 3 μm. For a circular wall with variable stiffness using a multi-cut process, the error is reduced from -60 μm to ±6 μm. For a free form thin wall similar to airfoil profile represented with the B-Spline, the improvement is from +140 μm to ±20 μm
Electronic language resources play a very important role in natural language processing. They are used in several linguistic applications including machine translation, text indexing, automatic summary…etc. The aim of this paper is to create a lexical database for the Arabic language that does not have many of these resources. We exploit web resources like Wikipedia and Wiktionary, which have become an interesting websites for extracting information. In this work, we seek to automatically extract semantic relationships such as synonyms and antonyms from Wiktionary Arabic. Keywords: Lexical base, Information retrieval, Semantic relations, Arabic language,Wiktionnaire, Wikipédi
Ant Colony Algorithm for Arabic Word Sense Disambiguation through English lexical information
International audienceThe ability to identify the intended meanings of words in context is a central research topic in natural language. Many solutions exist for word sense disambiguation (WSD) in different languages, such as English or French, but research on Arabic WSD remains limited. The main bottleneck is the lack of resources. In this article, we show that it is possible to build a WSD system for the Arabic language thanks to the Arabic WordNet and its connexions to the English Princeton WordNet. Given that the Arabic WordNet does not contain definitions for synsets, we construct a dictionary that maps the Princeton WordNet definitions to the Arabic WordNet. We also create an Arabic evaluation corpus and gold standard. We then exploit this dictionary and evaluation corpus to run and evaluate an adapted Ant Colony algorithm on Arabic text that can use the Lesk similarity measure thanks to definition mapping. The algorithm shows a performance of approximately 80% compared to the random baseline of 78.9 %
