Uso de las Tecnologías de Información en la Nueva Administración Tributaria en México
La globalización es un fenómeno mundial que afecta la forma de hacer negocios en el mundo actual y tanto las áreas operativas, como las administrativas, se ven influenciadas por este fenómeno. En aspectos fiscales, relativos a la forma de tributar, no es la excepción. La Administración Tributaria Federal, ha apostado fuertemente por la tecnología como medio recaudatorio y de manera indirecta se ha obligado a los contribuyentes a invertir, actualizar su forma de operar y de administrar sus empresas para cumplir las nuevas disposiciones fiscales. El uso intensivo de la tecnología en el área fiscal ha ayudado a la Administración Tributaria a tener un mayor control e información sobre las operaciones que realizan los contribuyentes y que utilizan las herramientas permitidas para el cumplimento de las disposiciones fiscales actuales. Algunos de los beneficios más notorios, fue la reducción del papel tras la obligación de la facturación electrónica como único comprobante fiscal y el espacio físico para el resguardo de la información. El presente artículo demuestra que los avances tecnológicos implementados por la Administración Tributaria en la Reforma Hacendaria 2014 en México, desde la percepción de los contribuyentes y con información del Servicio de Administración Tributaria generan múltiples beneficios para las partes involucradas, sin embargo, la implementación no ha sido sencilla para los contribuyentes, pues requieren inversión en equipo de cómputo y capacitación para comprender cada uno de cambios en las disposiciones fiscales.Globalization is a global phenomenon that the way of doing business in the current world and both operational areas, such as administrative, are influenced by this phenomenon. In fiscal aspects, relative to the tax form, it is not the exception. The Federal Tax Administration, has bet heavily on technology as a means of collection and indirectly has forced taxpayers to invest, update their way of operating and manage their businesses to comply with the new tax functions. The intensive use of technology in the tax area has helped the Tax Administration to have greater control and information about the operations carried out by taxpayers and using the tools allowed to comply with current tax provisions. Some of the most notorious benefits were the reduction of paper after the obligation of electronic invoicing as the only fiscal receipt and the physical space for the protection of information. This article demonstrates that the technological advances implemented by the Tax Administration in the Tax Reform 2014 in Mexico, from the taxpayers' perception and with information from the Tax Administration Service generate multiple benefits for the parties involved, however, the implementation has not It has been simple for taxpayers, since they require investment in computer equipment and training to understand each one of changes in tax regulations
Efecto de los cambios en las leyes fiscales federales en el precio accionario de las empresas que cotizan en la bolsa mexicana de valores (2010-2019)
Los impuestos a nivel federal representan más del 55% de los ingresos que el gobierno federal presupuesta obtener durante cada ejercicio, que a su vez los destina al gasto público. La administración pública federal depende de la recaudación de impuestos federales para financiar su gasto corriente, por ello el gobierno realiza constantes modificaciones a la legislación fiscal con la finalidad de incrementar la obtención de recursos monetarios. Las constantes modificaciones a la legislación fiscal federal en México pueden llegar a causar incertidumbre dentro del mercado accionario ya que tiende a reaccionar ante anuncios macroeconómicos relevantes. Este artículo muestra la relación existente entre las reformas federales fiscales publicadas con el precio accionario de las empresas públicas de México concluyendo que las reformas tienen efecto en el precio accionario de las empresas que deriva en afectación positiva o negativa en los tenedores de estas acciones, esto a través del modelo realizado mediante el Análisis de Correspondencias siendo no experimental, longitudinal, descriptivo y confirmatorio

Pictolysin-III, a Hemorrhagic Type-III Metalloproteinase Isolated from Bothrops pictus (Serpentes: Viperidae) Venom, Reduces Mitochondrial Respiration and Induces Cytokine Secretion in Epithelial and Stromal Cell Lines
From the venom of the Bothrops pictus snake, an endemic species from Peru, we recently have described toxins that inhibited platelet aggregation and cancer cell migration. In this work, we characterize a novel P-III class snake venom metalloproteinase, called pictolysin-III (Pic-III). It is a 62 kDa proteinase that hydrolyzes dimethyl casein, azocasein, gelatin, fibrinogen, and fibrin. The cations Mg2+ and Ca2+ enhanced its enzymatic activity, whereas Zn2+ inhibited it. In addition, EDTA and marimastat were also effective inhibitors. The amino acid sequence deduced from cDNA shows a multidomain structure that includes a proprotein, metalloproteinase, disintegrin-like, and cysteine-rich domains. Additionally, Pic-III reduces the convulxin- and thrombin-stimulated platelet aggregation and in vivo, it has hemorrhagic activity (DHM = 0.3 µg). In epithelial cell lines (MDA-MB-231 and Caco-2) and RMF-621 fibroblast, it triggers morphological changes that are accompanied by a decrease in mitochondrial respiration, glycolysis, and ATP levels, and an increase in NAD(P)H, mitochondrial ROS, and cytokine secretion. Moreover, Pic-III sensitizes to the cytotoxic BH3 mimetic drug ABT-199 (Venetoclax) in MDA-MB-231 cells. To our knowledge, Pic-III is the first SVMP reported with action on mitochondrial bioenergetics and may offer novel opportunities for promising lead compounds that inhibit platelet aggregation or ECM–cancer-cell interactions.</p

Worldwide trends in underweight and obesity from 1990 to 2022: a pooled analysis of 3663 population-representative studies with 222 million children, adolescents, and adults
Background Underweight and obesity are associated with adverse health outcomes throughout the life course. We
estimated the individual and combined prevalence of underweight or thinness and obesity, and their changes, from
1990 to 2022 for adults and school-aged children and adolescents in 200 countries and territories.
Methods We used data from 3663 population-based studies with 222 million participants that measured height and
weight in representative samples of the general population. We used a Bayesian hierarchical model to estimate
trends in the prevalence of different BMI categories, separately for adults (age ≥20 years) and school-aged children
and adolescents (age 5–19 years), from 1990 to 2022 for 200 countries and territories. For adults, we report the
individual and combined prevalence of underweight (BMI <18·5 kg/m2) and obesity (BMI ≥30 kg/m2). For schoolaged children and adolescents, we report thinness (BMI <2 SD below the median of the WHO growth reference)
and obesity (BMI >2 SD above the median).
Findings From 1990 to 2022, the combined prevalence of underweight and obesity in adults decreased in
11 countries (6%) for women and 17 (9%) for men with a posterior probability of at least 0·80 that the observed
changes were true decreases. The combined prevalence increased in 162 countries (81%) for women and
140 countries (70%) for men with a posterior probability of at least 0·80. In 2022, the combined prevalence of
underweight and obesity was highest in island nations in the Caribbean and Polynesia and Micronesia, and
countries in the Middle East and north Africa. Obesity prevalence was higher than underweight with posterior
probability of at least 0·80 in 177 countries (89%) for women and 145 (73%) for men in 2022, whereas the converse
was true in 16 countries (8%) for women, and 39 (20%) for men. From 1990 to 2022, the combined prevalence of
thinness and obesity decreased among girls in five countries (3%) and among boys in 15 countries (8%) with a
posterior probability of at least 0·80, and increased among girls in 140 countries (70%) and boys in 137 countries (69%)
with a posterior probability of at least 0·80. The countries with highest combined prevalence of thinness and
obesity in school-aged children and adolescents in 2022 were in Polynesia and Micronesia and the Caribbean for
both sexes, and Chile and Qatar for boys. Combined prevalence was also high in some countries in south Asia, such
as India and Pakistan, where thinness remained prevalent despite having declined. In 2022, obesity in school-aged
children and adolescents was more prevalent than thinness with a posterior probability of at least 0·80 among girls
in 133 countries (67%) and boys in 125 countries (63%), whereas the converse was true in 35 countries (18%) and
42 countries (21%), respectively. In almost all countries for both adults and school-aged children and adolescents,
the increases in double burden were driven by increases in obesity, and decreases in double burden by declining
underweight or thinness.
Interpretation The combined burden of underweight and obesity has increased in most countries, driven by an
increase in obesity, while underweight and thinness remain prevalent in south Asia and parts of Africa. A healthy
nutrition transition that enhances access to nutritious foods is needed to address the remaining burden of
underweight while curbing and reversing the increase in obesit
Influence of Excipients and Spray Drying on the Physical and Chemical Properties of Nutraceutical Capsules Containing Phytochemicals from Black Bean Extract
Black beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) are a rich source of flavonoids and saponins with proven health benefits. Spray dried black bean extract powders were used in different formulations for the production of nutraceutical capsules with reduced batch-to-batch weight variability. Factorial designs were used to find an adequate maltodextrin-extract ratio for the spray-drying process to produce black bean extract powders. Several flowability properties were used to determine composite flow index of produced powders. Powder containing 6% maltodextrin had the highest yield (78.6%) and the best recovery of flavonoids and saponins (>56% and >73%, respectively). The new complexes formed by the interaction of black bean powder with maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose 50 and starch exhibited not only bigger particles, but also a rougher structure than using only maltodextrin and starch as excipients. A drying process prior to capsule production improved powder flowability, increasing capsule weight and reducing variability. The formulation containing 25.0% of maltodextrin, 24.1% of microcrystalline cellulose 50, 50% of starch and 0.9% of magnesium stearate produced capsules with less than 2.5% weight variability. The spray drying technique is a feasible technique to produce good flow extract powders containing valuable phytochemicals and low cost excipients to reduce the end-product variability
Punicic Acid and Its Role in the Prevention of Neurological Disorders: A Review
Millions of people worldwide are affected by neurodegenerative diseases (NDs). NDs are characterized by progressive damage and death of nerve cells accompanied by high levels of inflammatory biomarkers and oxidative stress conditions. Punicic acid, the main bioactive component of pomegranate (Punica granatum) seed oil, is an omega-5 isomer of conjugated α-linoleic acid that has shown strong anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory effects that contributes towards its positive effect against a wide arrange of diseases. Punicic acid decreases oxidative damage and inflammation by increasing the expression of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors. In addition, it can reduce beta-amyloid deposits formation and tau hyperphosphorylation by increasing the expression of GLUT4 protein and the inhibition of calpain hyperactivation. Microencapsulated pomegranate, with high levels of punicic acid, increases antioxidant PON1 activity in HDL. Likewise, encapsulated pomegranate formulations with high levels of punicic acid have shown an increase in the antioxidant PON1 activity in HDL. Because of the limited brain permeability of punicic acid, diverse delivery formulations have been developed to enhance the biological activity of punicic acid in the brain, diminishing neurological disorders symptoms. Punicic acid is an important nutraceutical compound in the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s disease
