El paisaje balear y los personajes en «Vida del escudero Marcos de Obregón», de Vicente Espinel
La Vida del escudero Marcos de Obregón, de Vicente Espinel, entre otras virtudes, destaca por su naturalidad paisajÃstica —aquà nos limitamos al de Cabrera y algún espacio italiano que funciona por oposición al español y se entiende como espacio geográfico también los personajes que en él se hallan—. A su vez muestra una óptica ideológica poco común en la literatura picaresca: el respeto a las pautas surgidas del Concilio de Trento, de ahà sus crÃticas a los personajes disidentes. AsÃ, esta visión desde el sistema, que no cuestiona ni critica, no es la de un privilegiado de los altos estamentos sociales, sino la de un escudero, es decir, según un estrato social humilde, pero que ve la composición jerárquica social como la más natural de las posibles
