Determining the relationship between individual polymorphic alleles and haplotypes of genes of cytokines IL-1Ξ² and its receptor antagonist (IL-1RN) to predict the nature of chronic periodontal inflammation
Found that carriers of the T allele of the polymorphic locus of Π‘-511T of IL-1Ξ² and genotype Π‘ / T met significantly more likely in the group of patients with severe periodontitis In the study of nucleotide substitution of genes IL-1Ξ² Π‘ +3953 T allele T is also more common in the study group in patients with periodontitis In the study of gene polymorphism IL-1 RN significant differences between treatment groups were found. There is a tendency to increase the number of carriers of allele 2R, genotype 2R/4R and 2R/2R among persons with severe periodontal inflammation.Π£ΡΡΠ°Π½ΠΎΠ²Π»Π΅Π½ΠΎ,

Histological and immunohistochemical criteria of chronic inflammatory periodontal in remission
The article analyzes the changes in clinical indicators of periodontal patients on the background of the basic course of treatment. In gingival biopsies of patients estimated to update the cell population of multilayer flat epithelium with joint use of markers Ki-67 and p53, the degree of acanthosis and inflammatory cells own plate of mucous membrane on the number of CD68 + cells. 'Stationary' phase of inflammation is characterized by a decrease in inflammatory infiltration and is accompanied by a normalization process of cell renewal in the epithelium associated with the suppression of proliferation of epithelial cells and enhance their elimination through apoptosis. The number of antigen cells (CD68 +) in the mucosa of the gums was not significantly changed at the end of the course of traditional therapy and is the morphological substrate of recurrence of inflammation.Π ΡΡΠ°ΡΡΠ΅ ΠΏΡΠΎΠ²ΠΎΠ΄ΠΈΡΡΡ Π°Π½Π°Π»ΠΈΠ· ΠΈΠ·ΠΌΠ΅Π½Π΅Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΊΠ»ΠΈΠ½ΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΈΡ

A protocol for co-creating research project lay summaries with stakeholders:Guideline development for Canada's AGE-WELL Network
Background
Funding bodies increasingly require researchers to write lay summaries to communicate projectsβ real-world relevance to the public in an accessible way. However, research proposals and findings are generally not easily readable or understandable by non-specialist readers. Many researchers find writing lay summaries difficult because they typically write for fellow subject specialists or academics rather than the general public or a non-specialist audience. The primary objective of our project is to develop guidelines for researchers in Canadaβs AGE-WELL Network of Centres of Excellence, and ultimately various other disciplines, sectors, and institutions, to co-create lay summaries of research projects with stakeholders. To begin, we produced a protocol for co-creating a lay summary based on workshops we organized and facilitated for an AGE-WELL researcher. This paper presents the lay summary co-creation protocol that AGE-WELL researchers will be invited to use.
Methods
Eligible participants in this project will be 24 AgeTech project researchers who are funded by the AGE-WELL network in its Core Research Program 2020. If they agree to participate in this project, we will invite them to use our protocol to co-produce a lay summary of their respective projects with stakeholders. The protocol comprises six steps: Investigate principles of writing a good lay summary, identify the target readership, identify stakeholders to collaborate with, recruit the identified stakeholders to work on a lay summary, prepare for workshop sessions, and execute the sessions. To help participants through the process, we will provide them with a guide to developing an accessible, readable research lay summary, help them make decisions, and host, and facilitate if needed, their lay summary co-creation workshops.
Discussion
Public-facing research outputs, including lay summaries, are increasingly important knowledge translation strategies to promote the impact of research on real-world issues. To produce lay summaries that include information that will interest a non-specialist readership and that are written in accessible language, stakeholder engagement is key. Furthermore, both researchers and stakeholders benefit by participating in the co-creation process. We hope the protocol helps researchers collaborate with stakeholders effectively to co-produce lay summaries that meet the needs of both the public and project funders

Predictive value of risk factors for periodontitis and assessment criteria of the flow of inflammation in periodontitis on the basis of molecular genetic tests
The article analyzes the predictive value of risk factors for periodontitis, the data obtained from a prospective observation of 150 patients. Evaluation of the flow of the process of inflammation was carried out according to morphological study. Saving inflammatory infiltrate in the background of the anti-microbial treatment stage, accompanied by marked clinical effect was regarded as 'poor' outcome of therapy. Discriminant analysis of anamnestic, clinical, morphological and molecular genetic characteristics of patients allowed to calculate graduation factors predicting. The greatest predictive value is a predictor of 'carrier 2R allele of the gene IL-1 RN, IL-1 family1. Following graduation in molecular genetics predictor is β3R allele of the gene IL-4 and the last one -'allele-308A' gene TNFΞ±Β». Of the predictors of having a digital expression, the greatest predictive value are: the 'age' and 'Limitation of the diseaseβ. This combination of predictors can provide the level of correct prediction in 79.8%.Π ΡΡΠ°ΡΡΠ΅ ΠΏΡΠΎΠ²Π΅Π΄Π΅Π½ Π°Π½Π°Π»ΠΈΠ· ΠΏΡΠΎΠ³Π½ΠΎΠ·Π½ΠΎΠΉ ΡΠ΅Π½Π½ΠΎΡΡΠΈ ΡΠ°ΠΊΡΠΎΡΠΎΠ² ΡΠΈΡΠΊΠ° ΠΏΠ°ΡΠΎΠ΄ΠΎΠ½ΡΠΈΡΠ°, Π΄Π°Π½Π½ΡΠ΅ ΠΏΠΎΠ»ΡΡΠ΅Π½Ρ Π² ΡΠ΅Π·ΡΠ»ΡΡΠ°ΡΠ΅ ΠΏΡΠΎΡΠΏΠ΅ΠΊΡΠΈΠ²Π½ΠΎΠ³ΠΎ Π½Π°Π±Π»ΡΠ΄Π΅Π½ΠΈΡ 150 Π±ΠΎΠ»ΡΠ½ΡΡ

Distribution pattern of TLR-2, TLR-4, CD68, CD45R0, interacting with the antigens parodontopatogens in the cells of mucosal gingival in patients with chronic generalized periodontitis
The article analyzes the expression of TLR-2 and TLR-4 receptor of epithelial cells, the distribution of CD68 positive cells and CD45R0 positive T lymphocyte inflammatory infiltrate in the compartments of the gums of patients with chronic generalized periodontitis of medium severity on the background of the initial course of periodontal treatment. Treatment included pharmacological - machining of teeth, tooth roots, periodontal pockets, teaching oral hygiene using the ruler of 'ASEPTA', eliminating areas for retention of microbial plaque, temporary splinting and prosthetics. An expression is derived clinical benefit. Before treatment was determined by high expression of TLR-2 and TLR-4 on the surface of epithelial cells of the gums, and in the inflammatory infiltrate detected a large number of cells of the immune synapse of participants (CD45R0-T lymphocytes and CD68 + macrophages). After treatment significantly decreased expression of TLR-2 and TLR-4 on the surface of epithelial cells of the gums, while in his own plate of mucous membrane gums preserved population CD68 + macrophages, CD45R0 T lymphocytes, indicating the reduction of the barrier function of the epithelium and capable to run the aggravation of inflammation in the case of excessive growth parodontopatogenov in the area of periodontal pockets.Π ΡΡΠ°ΡΡΠ΅ ΠΏΡΠΎΠ²Π΅Π΄Π΅Π½ Π°Π½Π°Π»ΠΈΠ· Ρ

Status of ART-XC/SRG Instrument
Spectrum Roentgen Gamma (SRG) is an X-ray astrophysical observatory, developed by Russia in collaboration with Germany. The mission will be launched in March 2016 from Baikonur, by a Zenit rocket with a Fregat booster and placed in a 6-month-period halo orbit around L2. The scientific payload consists of two independent telescopes - a soft-x-ray survey instrument, eROSITA, being provided by Germany and a medium-x-ray-energy survey instrument ART-XC being developed by Russia. ART-XC will consist of seven independent, but co-aligned, telescope modules. The NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) is fabricating the flight mirror modules for the ART-XC/SRG. Each mirror module will be aligned with a focal plane CdTe double-sided strip detectors which will operate over the energy range of 6-30 keV, with an angular resolution of less than 1, a field of view of approximately 34 and an expected energy resolution of about 10 percent at 14 keV
The ART-XC telescope on board the SRG observatory
ART-XC (Astronomical Roentgen Telescope - X-ray Concentrator) is the hard
X-ray instrument with grazing incidence imaging optics on board the
Spektr-Roentgen-Gamma (SRG) observatory. The SRG observatory is the flagship
astrophysical mission of the Russian Federal Space Program, which was
successively launched into orbit around the second Lagrangian point (L2) of the
Earth-Sun system with a Proton rocket from the Baikonur cosmodrome on 13 July
2019. The ART-XC telescope will provide the first ever true imaging all-sky
survey performed with grazing incidence optics in the 4-30 keV energy band and
will obtain the deepest and sharpest map of the sky in the energy range of 4-12
keV. Observations performed during the early calibration and performance
verification phase as well as during the on-going all-sky survey that started
on 12 Dec. 2019 have demonstrated that the in-flight characteristics of the
ART-XC telescope are very close to expectations based on the results of ground
calibrations. Upon completion of its 4-year all-sky survey, ART-XC is expected
to detect ~5000 sources (~3000 active galactic nuclei, including heavily
obscured ones, several hundred clusters of galaxies, ~1000 cataclysmic
variables and other Galactic sources), and to provide a high-quality map of the
Galactic background emission in the 4-12 keV energy band. ART-XC is also well
suited for discovering transient X-ray sources. In this paper, we describe the
telescope, results of its ground calibrations, major aspects of the mission,
the in-flight performance of ART-XC and first scientific results.Comment: 19 pages, 30 figures, accepted for publication in Astronomy and
