In the result of study of the algorithm of the functioning of the early detection module of excessive losses, it is proven the ability to model it by using absorbing Markov chains. The particular interest is in the study of probability characteristics of early detection module functioning algorithm of losses in order to identify the relationship of indicators of reliability of individual elements, or the probability of occurrence of certain events and the likelihood of transmission of reliable information. The identified relations during the analysis allow to set thresholds reliability characteristics of the system components

The formation of students' engineering thinking as a way to create new techniques, technologies, materials

The urgency of the formation of competence in the field of energy saving in the process of studying engineering and technical disciplines at the university is substantiated. The author's definition of the competence in the field of energy saving is given, allowing to consider the necessity of its formation among students - future engineers as a way to create technologies of a new generation. The essence of this competence is revealed. The system of work, pedagogical conditions and technologies of its formation in the conditions of the federal university is substantiated

Modeling of technological processes of heat supply, as a tool for assessing the state of objects of the property fund and engineering networks of enterprises

    Get PDF
© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. The approach to the mathematical modeling of technological processes of production, manufacture and consumption energyresources on the property fund facilities and engineering networks is presented. This approach is defining the information support system analysis of the kinetic changes of thermodynamic parameters sequentially occurring thermal processes in the flows of heat transfer agent in a closed structures of heating energy working in the recycle mode of the heat flow. It is determined the possibility of setting and solving problems of energyefficiency on the objects with close cycle operating and working in the fluctuation mode of the environmental parameters

Assessment of the bioresource potential of Kazan city’s lake ecosystems by phytoplankton indicators

    Get PDF
Nowadays protection and sustainable management of biological resources is of particular importance. The most important area of hydrobiological research is the assessment of the bioresource potential of aquatic ecosystems (Alimov et al., 2005). Phytoplankton is the basis of life and the most important component of the bioresource base in the aquatic ecosystem. Phytoplankton indicators (primarily abundance and biomass) are widely used to assess the bioresource potential of lakes due to its position as an autotrophic producer at the base of the ecological pyramid of the lake ecosystem (Bulion, 2005, 2019; Alimov, 1989, 2000; Alimov et al., 2005). Our study is aimed to research phytoplankton indicators to assess the bioresource potential of Kazan city’s lake ecosystems (Volga region, Russia)

© MCSER-Mediterranean Center of Social and Educational Research. In recent years social, economic and environmental considerations have led to a reevaluation of the factors that contribute to sustainable urban environments. Increasingly, urban green space is seen as an integral part of cities providing a range of services to both the people and the wildlife living in urban areas. The use of urban green space, and especially increasing the use, has become a hot topic for many green space managers during the past few years as the assumed link between use of urban green space and sustainable urban development is becoming more visible. Up to this time, there is little systematic information about urban green space including natural water bodies in the City of Kazan, Russia, its use and the main factors that influence this use. As green spaces play a crucial role in supporting urban ecological and social systems, it is important to make investigations in the amount of provision, the distribution and characteristics of urban green space in the city. The main concern of this paper is to address the importance of urban nature for citizens’ well being and for the sustainability of the city they inhabit
