In recent decades, success and life of firm considerably depend on the level of the promotion of the values of these firms. Now, companies should be involved in a period in which a new economic framework should be established and be able to reflect value and enhance the profit. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of economic value added on reporting of financial information. Selected instance is composed of 71 companies between the years 2008-2011 among accepted companies on the Tehran Stock Exchange. In this study, the audited semiannual financial statements, quarterly financial performance and the formation of annual general meeting were regarded as dependent variables, economic value added as independent and firm size and debt ratio as control variable. Results of the present research indicated the effect of economic value added on the formation of annual general meeting while there was no effect of economic value added on semiannual financial statements audited and quarterly performance

Aimed at identifying and prioritizing promoters and deterrent affecting seed production of medicinal plants, the present study was conducted in 2014. The Delphi method was conducted using a panel of 13 experts in Guilan Natural Resources and Agriculture Organization. In the first round of the study, multiple-response techniques were used for content analysis. Based on the results of the first round, the second round questionnaire was featuring a Likert type scale that was then filled out by the first round respondents. Next, by comparing the conventional techniques, data were analyzed for investigation. The use of ranking techniques led largely to the same results or results with slight differences. The study recommends devoting due attention to the technical and environmental conditions such as proper storage, to avoid the wasteful harvesting of seeds at risk, and to provide favorable conditions for the domestication of medicinal plants. In addition, the role of research, training, and information dissemination of the economic benefits would receive high importance. Furthermore, designing and implementing a legal monitoring mechanism and an active and comprehensive policy making process, as well as providing facilities and equipment necessary for the preparation, cultivation, and harvest of seeds by decision-making, executive institutions, and organizations would notably be effective to tackle the present challenges

The effect of equations of state on the performances of compositional grading models

    Get PDF
The effect of equations of state on the performance of compositional grading models to accurately predict compositional variation with depth in petroleum reservoir has been presented. Compositional grading models considered are isothermal model, zero thermal diffusion model, Haase’s thermal diffusion model, and Kempers thermal diffusion model. The performances of these models were simulated based on tuned equations of state. The simulation results were validated with experimental data and the associated error computed as percentage average absolute deviation. The results suggest that selection of suitable equations of state has a significant influence on the performances of the applied compositional grading models

Entering the military led to major changes in personal, family and social forces, and is considered a critical juncture. Exposure to such stressful conditions can affect a person's functioning and mental health. The new course in life with all the benefits is associated with high stress. One of the main concerns in the military is that soldiers are maintaining physical and mental health. Comparison was made about psychological disorders among soldiers in two military units. In this study, causal - comparative, 94 soldiers of the Central Prison in Mashhad units and 110 units of soldiers to protect the province's prisons Mazandaran were selected for sampling, after recording the demographic characteristics of the sample, mental disorders were assessed by using a standard test Scl 25. Data were analyzed by using SPSS software and the results showed that among the soldiers: 3 percent of psychosis, 10% of somatization, 11% anxiety, 8% depression, interpersonal sensitivity 10%, 3%, phobia, obsessive-compulsive (18%), 20% of all soldiers have any ideas suspicion of mental disorders, 43.1 % from total solders have mental disorders. The results show that in general, mental disorders among soldiers in the unit include also an element of psychosis, depression and obsessive in other subscales showed no significant difference between the two units. There was no significant association between risk behaviors and the prevalence of mental disorders. The importance of mental health in military units to maintain and promote physical and mental health of military personnel and operations and increasing the combat capability of the armed forces of matter are inevitable. Thus providing educational programs on mental health promotion, family knowledge with the characteristics of young and veteran soldiers among them seems necessary and the need to take advantage of therapies has been already felt
