WorldBank, 2003, social capital is defined as institutions, social relations, networks, honesty,establishment of norms of quality and quantity of social interaction with the community. Akdere,2005 made in three forms of social capital, are; macro level, messo and micro levels level. Socialcapital at the macro level is measures of social capital which is used on a wider scope. At thislevel include the use of social capital, such as government, civil enforcement of legal certainty,Social capital at the messo level is described as a structural perspective in which social networkcapital and resources are structured to flow along the network. The micro-level social capitalemphasizes the individual's ability to mobilize resources through a local network institutions suchas social organization based on kinship.     The objectives of this research were to describe the management of school finance at Junior High School number 1 Tebat Karai, Kepahiang Regency. The research method wasdescriptive qualitative. The subject of this research are principal, administration staff, teachers, school committee and treasurer. The data were collected by interview, observations anddocumentations. The result of this research show that school finance was begun by designing of planning and school finance. The main problem was limited for principal to manage some budgets in all activities at school. To design planning and school finance, principal together with school committee, teacher representatives, treasure to define allocation of school budgets

    Overview of Caching Mechanisms to Improve Hadoop Performance

    Nowadays distributed computing environments, large amounts of data are generated from different resources with a high velocity, rendering the data difficult to capture, manage, and process within existing relational databases. Hadoop is a tool to store and process large datasets in a parallel manner across a cluster of machines in a distributed environment. Hadoop brings many benefits like flexibility, scalability, and high fault tolerance; however, it faces some challenges in terms of data access time, I/O operation, and duplicate computations resulting in extra overhead, resource wastage, and poor performance. Many researchers have utilized caching mechanisms to tackle these challenges. For example, they have presented approaches to improve data access time, enhance data locality rate, remove repetitive calculations, reduce the number of I/O operations, decrease the job execution time, and increase resource efficiency. In the current study, we provide a comprehensive overview of caching strategies to improve Hadoop performance. Additionally, a novel classification is introduced based on cache utilization. Using this classification, we analyze the impact on Hadoop performance and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each group. Finally, a novel hybrid approach called Hybrid Intelligent Cache (HIC) that combines the benefits of two methods from different groups, H-SVM-LRU and CLQLMRS, is presented. Experimental results show that our hybrid method achieves an average improvement of 31.2% in job execution time

    The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of operating profit margin, return on equity and return on assets to changes in earnings in telecommunications companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study is a secondary data from financial statements on six telecommunications companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Method of data analysis used in this study is multiple regression models. The study found that simultaneous operating profit margin, return on equity and return on assets influence the change in earnings in telecommunications companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The same findings were also found partial test results. This indicates that the operating profit margin, return on equity and return on assets is a variable for investors to consider before making a decision to invest.     Fdi & Idx: a Causality Test

    This study aims to examine the causal relationship between foreign net purchase and stock market capitalization, as well as to examine the effect of foreign direct investments towards the development of stock markets in Indonesia. The data used in this study were secondary data of FDI and market capitalization issued quarterly in the form of time series during the period of January 2000 to September 2010 obtained from the Board of Investment, Bank Indonesia, Central Bureau of Statistics and the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data were analyzed by using Granger's Causality method to test the causal relationship between the two variables. The predictive power of prior information may indicate a causal relationship between y and z in the long term. The results indicate that there is a pattern of one-way causal relationship between foreign net purchase and market capitalization, which means foreign net purchase significantly, affects market capitalization. The results also found the effect FDI has on market capitalization and this indicates that the Indonesian stock market is getting better. This condition is also supported by the strengthening of Indonesian economy fundamentals that led to foreign investors interested to invest in Indonesia.

    The objectives this research is to analyze the relationship legal revenue to expenditures in North Aceh. The data used in this study are reported revenue realization consisting of local taxes, retribution, and other legal revenue to particular expenditure direct in North Aceh for 30 years from 1982 -2011. The method used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The results found that the revenue associated with direct expenditure in the North Aceh. This indicates that the higher the revenue, the greater the direct spending by an area. Subsequently other findings in this study are all components of tax revenue in this case, retribution, etc. legitimate income also affect direct spending. These findings indicate the government of the district or other government in Indonesia to be more active in raising revenue.     Hadoop-Oriented SVM-LRU (H-SVM-LRU): An Intelligent Cache Replacement Algorithm to Improve MapReduce Performance

    Modern applications can generate a large amount of data from different sources with high velocity, a combination that is difficult to store and process via traditional tools. Hadoop is one framework that is used for the parallel processing of a large amount of data in a distributed environment, however, various challenges can lead to poor performance. Two particular issues that can limit performance are the high access time for I/O operations and the recomputation of intermediate data. The combination of these two issues can result in resource wastage. In recent years, there have been attempts to overcome these problems by using caching mechanisms. Due to cache space limitations, it is crucial to use this space efficiently and avoid cache pollution (the cache contains data that is not used in the future). We propose Hadoop-oriented SVM-LRU (HSVM- LRU) to improve Hadoop performance. For this purpose, we use an intelligent cache replacement algorithm, SVM-LRU, that combines the well-known LRU mechanism with a machine learning algorithm, SVM, to classify cached data into two groups based on their future usage. Experimental results show a significant decrease in execution time as a result of an increased cache hit ratio, leading to a positive impact on Hadoop performance
