Peculiar properties of the cluster-cluster interaction induced by the Pauli exclusion principle
Role of the Pauli principle in the formation of both the discrete spectrum
and multi-channel states of the binary nuclear systems composed of clusters is
studied in the Algebraic Version of the resonating-group method. Solutions of
the Hill-Wheeler equations in the discrete representation of a complete basis
of the Pauli-allowed states are discussed for 4He+n, 3H+3H, and 4He+4He binary
systems. An exact treatment of the antisymmetrization effects are shown to
result in either an effective repulsion of the clusters, or their effective
attraction. It also yields a change in the intensity of the centrifugal
potential. Both factors significantly affect the scattering phase behavior.
Special attention is paid to the multi-channel cluster structure 6He+6He as
well as to the difficulties arising in the case when the two clustering
configurations, 6He+6He and 4He+8He, are taken into account simultaneously. In
the latter case the Pauli principle, even in the absence of a potential energy
of the cluster-cluster interaction, leads to the inelastic processes and
secures an existence of both the bound state and resonance in the 12Be compound

The paper considers the possibility of using error-correcting coding in hydroacoustic
communication channels (HACC).Comparison of test results shows that errors substantially
packaged, resulting in increase of error probabilities with the large multiplicity and the likelihood
of receiving a code word without error. Results of comparative statistical studies of these codes
on a channel model with impulse hindranceare listed. As a result of theoretical and practical
studies of various structures of error protection device (EPD) to improve the noise immunity of
equipment sonar communication systems (HACC) was selected the algorithm of error correction,
which is based on convolutional code R = 1/2 with block, the threshold, the iterative decoding. To
ensure the independence of errors at the decoder input (decorrelation of error stream), the matrix

The brief results of registration with the help of standard measuring apparatus of the process of the information transference by the untraditional methods are presented. The experimental data measuring allow to make the conclusion about the possibility of information transfer by the untraditional methods. The generator of the informational signals was a man (biooperator), who during the experiment was trying to change the value of the parameters of the objects of alive and stagnant nature. The final result of the informational influence was registered both by the standard measuring devices and subjectively, by the percipients sensations. In the generator-coordinate method, the norm kernel built as a Slater determinant of the Brink-Bloch orbitals plays a role of unity for the complete set of orthonormalized states defined in the Fock-Bargmann space and satisfying the Pauli exclusion principle. The closure condition is then written as the Hubert-Schmidt expansion of the norm kernel and can be derived by a simple algebraic procedure. Gassmann Theory Applies to Nanoporous Media
Β© 2017 American Geophysical Union. All Rights Reserved. Recent progress in extraction of unconventional hydrocarbon resources has ignited the interest in the studies of nanoporous media. Since many thermodynamic and mechanical properties of nanoscale solids and fluids differ from the analogous bulk materials, it is not obvious whether wave propagation in nanoporous media can be described using the same framework as in macroporous media. Here we test the validity of Gassmann equation using two published sets of ultrasonic measurements for a model nanoporous medium, Vycor glass, saturated with two different fluids, argon, and n-hexane. Predictions of the Gassmann theory depend on the bulk and shear moduli of the dry samples, which are known from ultrasonic measurements and the bulk moduli of the solid and fluid constituents. The solid bulk modulus can be estimated from adsorption-induced deformation or from elastic effective medium theory. The fluid modulus can be calculated according to the Tait-Murnaghan equation at the solvation pressure in the pore. Substitution of these parameters into the Gassmann equation provides predictions consistent with measured data.
