Use of Sorghum for Enhancing the Biodiversity and Nutritional Value of Semi-Desert Pasture Ecosystems
The article presents the results of studies on the adaptive potential of sorghum used for restoration of degraded pasture ecosystems, increasing their biodiversity and nutritional value. The region chosen for the experiment is a semi-desert arid part of southern Russia. The aridity coefficient is 0.11β0.30 which is typical of the arid zone. The annual volume of precipitation is 125-265 mm. Two varieties of sorghum β Travinka and Caravan β were studied. They were grown with different thickness: 10 thousand, 20 thousand and 40 thousand plants per 1 hectare. During the growing season, there was soil and atmospheric drought. The best indicators of green mass yield were recorded for Travinka for the variant β40 thousand plants per hectare β 7.9 tons per hectare, and for Caravan for the variant β20 thousand plants per hecrate β 3.9 tons per hectare. Compared with natural pasture, sorghum productivity is 18 times higher by green mass yield and 26 times higher by dry mass yield (the best options). The analysis of the chemical composition and nutritional value of sorghum showed that compared to the plants of natural pasture, sorghum is a more nutritious fodder plant. Its nutritional value is more by 0.24 feed units per 1 kg and by 1.9 % by the mass of crude protein. It is better than other plants by the content of sugar content (79 g per 1 kg) and macronutrients

Concentration of neurospecific enolase (nse) in the umbilical blood of newborns with asphyxia
The research was aimed at the estimation of NSE in the umbilical blood of newborns with asphyxia. 54 newborns with asphyxia born by cesarean section were examined during the period of early postnatal adaptation. The comparison group consisted of 7 healthy newborns. NSE concentration was estimated by immunoenzyme analysis. The reliability of differences between groups was estimated with the help of nonparametric U-criteria of Mann-Whitney. It has been found that after combined hypoxia (chronic fetal hypoxia due to fetoplacental insufficiency and mild asphyxia in birth) NSE concentration was significantly higher than in intranatal mild and moderate asphyxia. This fact testified to the direct influence of long-termed oxygen deficiency upon the rise of the level of this protein and, consequently, on the activation of the death of neurons and cells of neuroendocrine differentiation.Π¦Π΅Π»ΡΡ ΠΈΡΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ ΡΠ²ΠΈΠ»Π°ΡΡ ΠΎΡΠ΅Π½ΠΊΠ° ΡΠΎΠ΄Π΅ΡΠΆΠ°Π½ΠΈΠ΅ Π½Π΅ΠΉΡΠΎΡΠΏΠ΅ΡΠΈΡΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΎΠΉ Π΅Π½ΠΎΠ»Π°Π·Ρ (NSE) Π² ΠΏΡΠΏΠΎΠ²ΠΈΠ½ΠΎΠΉ ΠΊΡΠΎΠ²ΠΈ Π½ΠΎΠ²ΠΎΡΠΎΠΆΠ΄Π΅Π½Π½ΡΡ

Endothelial function, regulation of angiogenesis and embryonic central hemodynamics in ART-conceived pregnancies
This study was undertaken to compare the concentrations of pro- and anti-angiogenic growth factors, nitric oxide (NO) stable metabolites in maternal serum and embryonic left ventricular (LV) isovolumic relaxation time (IRT, ms) during the first trimester in two groups of women: with pregnancy conceived by assisted reproductive technologies (ART, nΡ39) and normally conceived (control group, nΡ68) pregnancy. The concentration of vasoconstrictor endothelin 1 was 45.5 times more in ART than in control group. On the contrary, the concentrations of NO stable metabolites in ART were 1.9 times less than in control women. The assessment of angiogenic suppressors in ART women demonstrates the decrease in s-endoglin concentration was 1.6 times and in soluble receptor to vascular endothelial growth factor concentration was 2.0 times in comparison with control group. There was a significant increase in LV IRT in ART embryos in comparison to control ones. These data suggest significant changes in pro-antiangiogenic factors balance and increase in vascular impedance in ART-conceived embryos
Nonspecific inflammatory reaction in early terms of pregnancy: from supposition to evidence
The purpose of research: to estimate features of a nonspecific inflammatory response in early terms of pregnancy. The immunologic inspection of peripheral blood 19 women reproductive age in 4-6 weeks of gestation is carried out, the group of comparison was made by 20 nonpregnant women. Number of activation markers CD23, CD25, CD38, CD69, CD71, CD95, HLA-DR and adhesion molecules CD11 b, CD11 c, CD54 expressed cells was estimated by flow cytometry. Level of cytokines IL-1Ξ², IL-2, IL-4, IL- 6, IL-8, IL-10, TNF-Ξ²Ξ± and concentration of acute phase proteins (C-reactive protein, lactoferrin, ferritin in serum of blood was determined by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Level of a 1-antitrypsin, ceruloplasmin, gaptoglobin and aj-macroglobulin was determined by the turbidimetric method. Statistical data analysis was carred out with use of an application package Β«Statistica 6.0Β», the reliability of distinctions between groups was estimated by use the nonparametric U-Mann-Whitney criterion. It has been found that in early terms of physiological pregnancy increase percentage of early and late activation markers expressed lymphocyte (CD23+, CD69+, HLA-DR+, CD95+, CD25+, CD71 +) and rate of adhesion molecules carryd cells (CD11 b+, CD54+). Increase functional activity of immune cells is accompanied by increase of a serum level of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-1Ξ², IL-2, TNF-Ξ± and acute phase proteins (C-reactive protein, lactoferrin, ceruloplasmin, Ξ±1-antitrypsin and Ξ±2-macroglobulin). Increase of production antiΒinflammatory mediator IL-4 and antioxidative acute phase proteins is reflection of protective factors influence, which limit systemic activation of maternal organism. Consequently early terms of physiological pregnancy are characterized by signs of a nonspecific inflammatory reaction: activation of circulating leucocytes in response to fetal antigenic stimulation, expression on immune cells adhesion molecules, spontaneous hyperproduction of cytokines and elevated concentration of acute phase proteins in serum. Realization of stress response to fetal antigens to adaptation of maternal organism to pregnancy take place in case of functioning of fetoprotective and stresslimited mechanisms.Π¦Π΅Π»Ρ ΠΈΡΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ: ΠΎΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΡΡ ΠΎΡΠΎΠ±Π΅Π½Π½ΠΎΡΡΠΈ Π½Π΅ΡΠΏΠ΅ΡΠΈΡΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΎΠ³ΠΎ Π²ΠΎΡΠΏΠ°Π»ΠΈΡΠ΅Π»ΡΠ½ΠΎΠ³ΠΎ ΠΎΡΠ²Π΅ΡΠ° Π² ΡΠ°Π½Π½ΠΈΠ΅ ΡΡΠΎΠΊΠΈ Π±Π΅ΡΠ΅ΠΌΠ΅Π½Π½ΠΎΡΡΠΈ. FEATURES OF IMMUNE RESPONSE IN PRETERM BABIES WITH BRONCHOPULMONARY DISPLASIA OF VARIOUS SEVERITY
To evaluate the immunity indexes in the children who were born with bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) of varying severity at very early delivery terms (22-27 weeks), dynamic examinations were performed in 35 infants: 17 children were with severe BPD; 18, with mild-severity and moderately severe BPD. The comparison group consisted of seven children born at 22-27 weeks of gestational age without signs of BPD. Relative numbers of lymphocyte subpopulations (CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD19+, CD16+CD56+, CD4+CD25+), and monocytes (CD14+CD64+, CD14+HLA-DR+) were determined by flow cytometry. The level of cytokines (IL-6, IL-8, IL-4) was measured by enzyme immunoassay technique. The features of immune status in children with BPD of severe, mild and moderate severity were discerned. It was found that the predictors of severe BPD development in the children born at very early terms, are: increased content of IL-8 at birth and at the age of 1 month, reduced level of expression on monocytes (CD64, HLA-DR) on the 1 month of life, and CD14+CD64+ cells at 38-40 weeks post conception. The revealed features of immune status in newborns with BPD can be used to assess the effectiveness of the therapy, which requires further research in this direction
Assessment of the Application of Erythrocytal Diagnosticum (Lyophilizate) in Detecting Tularemia Agent in Natural Foci
Tularemia is a zoonotic disease with a wide geographical dissemination, and its causative agent Francisella tularensis can be used as a bioterrorism agent. The aim of the study was to evaluate the use of a set of reagents βErythrocytic immunoglobulin dry tularemia diagnosticumβ (βDET-Igβ) with the help of control test strains and field material from natural tularemia foci. Materials and methods. Using the introduced erythrocyte diagnosticum, we studied the decontaminated cultures of test strains (F. tularensis Miura, F. tularensis 55, F. tularensis Schu, F. tularensis 15 NIIEG, Brucella abortus 544, B. melitensis 16-M, B. suis 1330, and Yersinia enterocolitica 64, Y. enterocolitica 178, Y. enterocolitica 383) and environmental samples suspected of containing F. tularensis. Results and discussion. It has been proven that the developed diagnosticum is specific, sensitive, and easy to use for routine diagnostics of tularemia. In the course of laboratory tests of the experimental series of the DET-Ig reagent kit, the possibility of qualitative determination of the tularemia agent in bacterial cultures, biological material and environmental samples in the reaction of indirect hemagglutination was demonstrated. Comparison of the results of use of erythrocyte diagnosticum in liquid and lyophilized forms showed the advantages of drugs after lyophilization: the possibility of transportation and long-term storage at any temperature conditions in various climatic conditions; the setting of the reaction is possible without the use of special diluents. The guaranteed storage term is set for two years (observation period). The results obtained indicate the prospects of introducing the developed drug into healthcare practice
Role of cytocines in pathogenesis of males infertility
The purpose of present research is to estimate the diagnostic importance of the definition of the mediators of intercellular interaction in the serum of blood and seminal plasma of men from married couples with infertility. The clinic-laboratory inspection of 89 infertility men is lead: 45 men with parameters of the spermograms corresponding the norms, recommended by the WHO, and 44 men with a deviation from the recommended norms of one or several parameters of the spermograms. Fifteen healthy men with normal reproductive function made the group of comparison. The contents of a IL-1Ξ², IL-1RA, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, IFN- Ξ³, TGF-p, TNF-Ξ±, C-reactive protein were defined by the method of immunoenzym assay. For an estimation of reliability of distinctions between groups is used the Manna- itne's nonparametric criterion, for overcoming a problem of plural comparisons is used the Bonferroniβs amendment (distinctions were considered statistically authentic if the significance value did not exceed 0,01). The estimation of mediators' production of intercellular interaction at a system level has shown authentic increase of the maintenance of proinflammatory cytokines IFN-Ξ³ and IL-8, and also immunoregulatory interleukin IL-1RA in serum of blood of men both with normospermia, and with patospermia in comparison with healthy fertility men. This testifies the presence of latent inflammatory processes in an organism of men from intertile married couples. At a local level, ehese changes prove to be true authentic increase IL-8 in seminal plasma in both groups. Use of set of the most informative parameters describing a functional condition of immune system for an estimation of reproductive function of men promotes increase of efficiency of diagnostics of the given pathology.Π΅Π»Ρ ΠΈΡΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ: ΠΎΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΡΡ Π΄ΠΈΠ°Π³Π½ΠΎΡΡΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΡΡ Π·Π½Π°ΡΠΈΠΌΠΎΡΡΡ ΠΎΠΏΡΠ΅Π΄Π΅Π»Π΅Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΌΠ΅Π΄ΠΈΠ°ΡΠΎΡΠΎΠ² ΠΌΠ΅ΠΆΠΊΠ»Π΅ΡΠΎΡΠ½ΠΎΠ³ΠΎ Π²Π·Π°ΠΈΠΌΠΎΠ΄Π΅ΠΉΡΡΠ²ΠΈΡ Π² ΡΡΠ²ΠΎΡΠΎΡΠΊΠ΅ ΠΊΡΠΎΠ²ΠΈ ΠΈ ΡΠ΅ΠΌΠ΅Π½Π½ΠΎΠΉ ΠΏΠ»Π°Π·ΠΌΠ΅ ΠΌΡΠΆΡΠΈΠ½ ΠΈΠ· ΡΡΠΏΡΡΠΆΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΈΡ

Clinic features perinatal damages central nervous system by undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia of children
The purpose of work: revealing of clinico-neurologic features of current perinatal damages central nervous system at full-term newborns and children of the first year of a life with a undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia (UCTD) after the lead analysis ante-intranatal the periods of development, an estimation on L.N.Fominoj's scale, definition of indexes of an arachnodactyly, definition of a hyaluronic acid, products of degradation of a collagen and antinuclear antibodies. 90 full-term children in the period newborn and in the age of 1 ,3 ,6 ,9 and 12 months are surveyed. The clinical condition and the neurologic status of the child, the genealogical anamnesis, a state of health of mother, feature of current of pregnancy was estimated. For revealing fenotipic attributes UCTD L.N.Fominojβs scale (2000.) was used . Except for the standard laboratory methods (the general analysis of a blood, the general analysis wet, coprogramm, a level of saccharum of a blood, AST, ALT, the general fiber, a calcium and phosphorus of a blood) in Serum of a blood determined the contents of a hyaluronic acid, antinuclear antibodies and products of degradation of a collagen. In the age of 6 and 12 months it was spent US of internal organs and the ECHO-KG, ultrasonic research of a brain. Conclusions. At children with Π‘Π’Π in 1,5 times had the complicated character in comparison with children without attributes those. At estimation UCTD on scale L.N.Fominoj's at children of the basic group parameters exceeded control value (less than 12 points). Clinically children with UCTD were characterized by a delay of a becoming of static functions and vegetative-vascular disturbances. Ultrasonic research has taped at children of the basic group attributes CTD of heart in 100 % and in 36 % of microanomaly of development of internal organs.Π¦Π΅Π»Ρ ΡΠ°Π±ΠΎΡΡ: Π²ΡΡΠ²Π»Π΅Π½ΠΈΠ΅ ΠΊΠ»ΠΈΠ½ΠΈΠΊΠΎ-Π½Π΅Π²ΡΠΎΠ»ΠΎΠ³ΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΈΡ
