    Interference in a Language and Culture Communication

    International communication is one important aspect in a dialogue of culture and in a process of communication we should concentrate in a problem of the interrelated phenomena of language and culture within the context of bilingual communication. Language and culture interference are important aspect to be considered with regard to teaching of plurilingual learners, whose communicative competence is formed on the basis of several linguistic and cultural systems that interact with each other and exert mutual influence. Interference is an important aspect not only in linguistic, not only in the method of teaching but also in culture too.  And after pandemic era we practically have a new view of communication - Online communication, that is defined as perceptual-verbal interaction connected with acts of cognition and creation of meaning-forming systems, manifested in a whole set of principles, among which there are: 1) dialogueness and communicability; 2) visual-perceptual experience; 3) interpersonal communication; 4) a tool for cross-cultural dialogue; 5) a linguistic component

    Modern Trends in Education in the Era of Digitalization: Task and Prospects of Development

    The article suggests an overall review of modern technological trends in education. The authors aimed to figure out the objectives, benefits and obstacles of their development. The article deals with innovations, which have already been and are being implemented in education system with Industry 5.0 shortly ahead. The main aim is to determine social and cultural impact of rapid digitalization in the sphere of education. Research methods were based on deductive categories. Elements of descriptive and comparative analysis were applied for identification of major patterns and tendencies. The review given by the authors proves that education is one of the main challenges for authorities, teachers and students in terms of digitalization. The results of the research indicate the importance of new paradigm and reconsidering of educational environment in general. It involves technological, social and communicative aspects. Some conventional standards have become obsolete and we need to acknowledge the fact. Modern society is facing not only technological challenges but also the ones concerning attitude and skills. We can conclude that effective agreement between social and technological process can be reached if legal framework and standardized approaches are involved

    Foreign student guest lecture and Indonesian EFL students' motivation in cross-culture understanding course

    This study explores an innovative way to increase students' learning motivation in a cross-culture understanding (CCU) class at an English Language Teaching study program in a private university in Indonesia. The lecturer assigned EFL students to find international students to share their cultures to solve students' lack of motivation in indoor learning activities. From observation, interview, and an online survey to 94 students (four classes), 98.9 % agreed that the international students' guest lecture method could increase EFL students' motivation to learn CCU. The Indonesian lecturer exposed to global culture and international students exposed to Indonesian culture becomes the primary resource for Indonesian EFL students to get insight and inspiration for their intercultural communication and adaptation practices

The main subject is to consider the origins of certain issues and difficulties concerning the process of conceptualization and categorization, as well as to explain their nature or, at least, work out some speculations. The methodology of the research is analysis of the most common problems that occur in the process of conceptualization and categorization of the world by means of natural language. Results of the research are determination of a number of problems concerning conceptualization and categorization, explanation of certain reasons for them to occur. A scope of results is various kinds of scientific research works, concerning the features and issues occurring in the course of conceptualization and categorization during the process of creating and analyzing different linguistic world images
