    Multi-Parameter Optimization Analysis of Hydrodynamic Performance for Rim-Driven Thruster

    The efficiency of rim-driven thrusters (RDT) has always been the focus of attention in the context of energy conservation and environmental protection. A multi-parameter collaborative optimization framework is proposed to improve the efficiency of RDT based on the response surface method (RSM). The common structural parameters of RDT, including pitch ratio, disk ratio and rake angle, are selected as design variables to carry out the Box–Behnken experimental design combined with the simulation data obtained through CFD calculations. The response surface second-order model is employed to evaluate the extent to which different parameters can affect the target variable and obtain the optimal hydraulic efficiency. The results show that the established model has high precision, good reproducibility and strong anti-interference ability. The influence of the pitch ratio, rake angle and disk ratio on open water efficiency decreases in sequence. Compared with the prototype RDT, the maximum efficiency of the optimized RDT is increased by 13.8%, and the surface pressure distribution and flow field characteristics are also significantly modified

    The Dynamic Input-Output Model of Distribution Network Upgrading Project Under the Background of Electric Internet of Things

    China is promoting the construction of electric internet of things, and a large part of the fixed asset investment in the power grid is the investment in the upgrading of the distribution network. The economic benefits of investment are related to the sustainable development of power grid companies. At present, the Chinese government is reforming transmission and distribution tariff, and the economic benefits of power grid infrastructure investment are facing greater uncertainty. This paper studies the life cycle cost of the distribution network upgrading project from construction to decommissioning and the electricity revenue for the entire operation period. The dynamic input-output model of the distribution network upgrading project is established under the background of electric internet of things. An empirical analysis is conducted in combination with the case study. Through load forecasting and cost calculation, the input and output indicators of the project are obtained, which verifies the validity and accuracy of the model

    Reduced Graphene Oxide Decorated Na3V2(PO4)3 Microspheres as Cathode Material With Advanced Sodium Storage Performance

    Reduced graphene oxide (rGO) sheet decorated Na3V2(PO4)3 (NVP) microspheres were successfully synthesized by spray-drying method. The NVP microspheres were embedded by rGO sheets, and the surface of the particles were coated by rGO sheets and amorphous carbon. Thus, the carbon conductive network consisted of rGO sheets and amorphous carbon generated in the cathode material. NVP microspheres decorated with different content of rGO (about 0, 4, 8, and 12 wt%) were investigated in this study. The electrochemical performance of NVP exhibited a significant enhancement after rGO introduction. The electrode containing about 8 wt% rGO (NVP/G8) showed the best rate and cycle performance. NVP/G8 electrode exhibited the discharge capacity of 64.0 mAh g−1 at 70°C, and achieved high capacity retention of 95.5% after cycling at 10°C for 100 cycles. The polarization of the electrode was inhibited by the introduction of rGO sheets. Meanwhile, compared with the pristine NVP electrode, NVP/G8 electrode exhibited small resistance and high diffusion coefficient of sodium ions

    Exome-wide association analysis reveals novel coding sequence variants associated with lipid traits in Chinese

    Blood lipids are important risk factors for coronary artery disease (CAD). Here we perform an exome-wide association study by genotyping 12,685 Chinese, using a custom Illumina HumanExome BeadChip, to identify additional loci influencing lipid levels. Single-variant association analysis on 65,671 single nucleotide polymorphisms reveals 19 loci associated with lipids at exome-wide significance (P<2.69 × 10−7), including three Asian-specific coding variants in known genes (CETP p.Asp459Gly, PCSK9 p.Arg93Cys and LDLR p.Arg257Trp). Furthermore, missense variants at two novel loci—PNPLA3 p.Ile148Met and PKD1L3 p.Thr429Ser—also influence levels of triglycerides and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, respectively. Another novel gene, TEAD2, is found to be associated with high-density lipoprotein cholesterol through gene-based association analysis. Most of these newly identified coding variants show suggestive association (P<0.05) with CAD. These findings demonstrate that exome-wide genotyping on samples of non-European ancestry can identify additional population-specific possible causal variants, shedding light on novel lipid biology and CAD
