Wigner's theorem on Grassmann spaces

Wigner's celebrated theorem, which is particularly important in the mathematical foundations of quantum mechanics, states that every bijective transformation on the set of all rank-one projections of a complex Hilbert space which preserves the transition probability is induced by a unitary or an antiunitary operator. This vital theorem has been generalised in various ways by several scientists. In 2001, Molnár provided a natural generalisation, namely, he provided a characterisation of (not necessarily bijective) maps which act on the Grassmann space of all rank-n projections and leave the system of Jordan principal angles invariant (see [17] and [20]). In this paper we give a very natural joint generalisation of Wigner's and Molnár's theorems, namely, we prove a characterisation of all (not necessarily bijective) transformations on the Grassmann space which fix the quantity TrPQ (i.e. the sum of the squares of cosines of principal angles) for every pair of rank-n projections P and Q

Rosszindulatú daganatos megbetegedésekben szenvedő gyermekbetegek komplex kivizsgálása, gyógykezelése és gondozása Magyarországon

A Magyar Gyermekleukémia Terápiás Munkacsoport 1971 óta valósítja meg a gyermekkori leukémiás betegek szisztematikus regisztrálását, egységes kivizsgálását, gyógykezelését, gondozását és utánkövetését. 1973 óta a Munkacsoportból fejlődött Gyermekonkológiai Hálózat, amely jelenleg a Magyar Gyermekorvosok Társasága Gyermekonkológiai Szekciójaként működik (GYOSZ), feladatkörét valamennyi gyermekkori rosszindulatú daganatos megbetegedésre kiterjesztette, így optimális feltételeket biztosít a korlátozott anyagi erejű 10 milliós ország gyermeknépessége számára, amelyet (15 éves kor alatt) egy lassan, de szignifikánsan emelkedő, 132/millió gyermekrák-incidencia jellemez. Az évente mintegy 250 újonnan kórismézett beteget az egyre növekvő számú remisszióba kerülő, illetőleg tartós remisszióban, rosszindulatú betegségéből gyógyultan élő gyermeket 7 központban, 2 sejtterápiás centrumban és 2 rehabilitációs intézményben kezeljük, gondozzuk, korszerű konszenzus-protokollok alkalmazásával. A GYOSZ számos bilaterális és multicentrikus nemzetközi tudományos és klinikai együttműködésben vesz részt, a nemzetközi gyermekhematológiai-onkológiai társadalom integráns részévé vált. A GYOSZ tagjainak erőfeszítése révén napjainkban a rosszindulatú megbetegedésekben szenvedő gyermekek hazánkban hasonló gyógyulási arányra, hasonló életminőségre – minőségi életre – számíthatnak mint egyéb fejlett ipari országokban

Interarchive : Archivarische Praktiken und Handlungsräumr im zeitgenössischen Kunstfeld = Interarchive : Archival Practices and Sites in the Contemporary Art Field

The archive is examined as facility and metaphor in this publication documenting the exhibition-project “Interarchiv” organised by Obrist and Feldmann in co-operation with the Kunstraum der Universität Lüneburg. In the book’s three sections, the first documents the exhibition and its organisation, the second contains reflections on the archive from different disciplinary perspectives, and the third presents 63 instances of contemporary archiving practices in the field of art.
