This study aims to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and subjective well-being among working women. 104 working women were selected from various levels of employment including higher, middle, and lower using purposive sampling method. Emotional Intelligence and Subjective Well-being scales were used to collect data. The 5 sub-scales of emotional intelligence are self-awareness, managing emotions, motivating oneself, empathy, and social skills. The Subjective Well-being scale is divided into four aspects: satisfaction with life in general and in different areas of life, satisfaction with work and job performance, satisfaction with the economic situation in the last year, and moods/emotions during the previous week. Pearson\u27s Product-Moment correlation and Descriptive analysis were done to find out the relationship between emotional intelligence and subjective well-being. The impact of emotional intelligence and subjective well-being was obtained through a linear regression analysis. Results showed that there is a significant positive correlation (0.5) between emotional intelligence and subjective well-being, signifying the importance of the need to work on developing emotional intelligence in working women

The guanine derivative antiviral drug acyclovir (ACV) is one of the oldest molecules laying successful market until date, being commercially available in various dosage forms for oral, topical and parenteral administrations. Clinical application of this drug is superior to new antiviral agents due to its potential values such as suppression of recurrence, safety profile, minimal drug interactions and being inexpensive. ACV is slightly water soluble, less permeable and poorly bioavailable, yet more potential antiviral molecule. The present study involves preparation and evaluation of floating microspheres using ACV as a model drug for improving the drug bioavailability by prolongation of gastric retention time.  Ethyl cellulose, hydroxyl propyl methyl cellulose microspheres loaded with ACV were prepared by solvent diffusion evaporation method. The microspheres had smooth surfaces with free-flowing and good-packing properties. The yield of the microspheres (F1-F6) was range from 62.23±0.85 to73.32±0.65% and ethyl cellulose microspheres entrapped the maximum amount of the drug. Scanning electron microscopy confirmed their hollow structures with sizes in 198.3 nm. The prepared microspheres (F3) exhibited prolonged drug release and percentage buoyancy was found to 76.65±0.52. The formulated batches were evaluated for percentage yield, particle size measurement, flow properties, percent entrapment efficiency, swelling studies. The formulations were subjected to stability studies and In-vitro release and release kinetics data was subjected to different dissolution models. It was concluded that developed floating microspheres of ACV offers a suitable and practical approach for prolonged release of drug over an extended period of time and thus oral bioavailability, efficacy and patient compliance is improved. Keywords: Acyclovir, Solvent diffusion evaporation method, Ethyl cellulose, Hydroxyl propyl methyl cellulos

1,3,4-oxadiazole is a five member heterocyclic ring which is a very important compound for designing potent bioactive agents. This interesting group of compound has different biological activities such as anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anticancer, antitubercular, anticonvulsant, anti-HIV, hypogycemic and antioxidant etc. In the present research work, we have synthesized four newly 1,3,4-oxadiazole derive atives derived from existing NSAID Ibuprofen. The purity of compounds was checked by TLC and melting point. The melting point was determined by open capillary methods and uncorrected. Structure of all four newly synthesized compounds was confirmed by spectral analysis (FTIR, and 1HNMR). Keywords: Oxadiazole, 1, 3, 4-Oxadiazole derivatives, Heterocyclic, Ibuprofen, Cyclic compound

The present research work discusses the development of UV-spectrophotometric method for estimation of Naproxen. Simple, specific, accurate and cost effective spectrophotometric method has been developed for estimation of naproxen sodium in bulk as well as formulation. The optimum conditions for the analysis of the drug were established. The maximum wavelength (λmax) was found to be 331 nm. The validation was performed as per ICH guidelines for linearity, accuracy, precision, LOD and LOQ. The linearity was found in the concentration range of 3-24 µg / ml for Zero, first and second order derivative spectroscopy. The correlation coefficients were found to be 0.9997, 0.9999 and 0.9998, respectively. The obtained (r2) values show that the selected concentration range gives good linearity. All calibration curves show a linear relationship between the absorbance and concentration with coefficient of correlation 0.999. The regression of curve was Y = 0.0372 x - 0.0038. The precision of method was found to be good. The results were within the range of 99.15 ± 0.14 – 101.38 ± 0.17 and were found to be highly accurate. The proposed method will be suitable for analysis of naproxen in bulk as well as pharmaceutical formulations in quality control purpose. It is thus concluded that the proposed method is new, simple, cost-effective, safe, accurate, precise and environmental friendly Keywords: Naproxen, Spectrophotometry, Naproxen, Linearity, Validation, LO

In the present paper the new multiplier transformations \mathrm{{\mathcal{J}% }}_{p}^{\delta }(\lambda ,\mu ,l) (\delta ,l\geq 0,\;\lambda \geq \mu \geq 0;\;p\in \mathrm{% }%\mathbb{N} )} of multivalent functions is defined. Making use of the operator Jpδ(λ,μ,l),\mathrm{% {\mathcal{J}}}_{p}^{\delta }(\lambda ,\mu ,l), two new subclasses Pλ,μ,lδ(A,B;σ,p)\mathcal{% P}_{\lambda ,\mu ,l}^{\delta }(A,B;\sigma ,p) and P~λ,μ,lδ(A,B;σ,p)\widetilde{\mathcal{P}}% _{\lambda ,\mu ,l}^{\delta }(A,B;\sigma ,p)\textbf{\ }of multivalent analytic functions are introduced and investigated in the open unit disk. Some interesting relations and characteristics such as inclusion relationships, neighborhoods, partial sums, some applications of fractional calculus and quasi-convolution properties of functions belonging to each of these subclasses Pλ,μ,lδ(A,B;σ,p)\mathcal{P}_{\lambda ,\mu ,l}^{\delta }(A,B;\sigma ,p) and P~λ,μ,lδ(A,B;σ,p)\widetilde{\mathcal{P}}_{\lambda ,\mu ,l}^{\delta }(A,B;\sigma ,p) are investigated. Relevant connections of the definitions and results presented in this paper with those obtained in several earlier works on the subject are also pointed out

A note on mixed summation-integral-type operators

Very recently Deo, in the paper “Simultaneous approximation by Lupas operators with weighted function of Szasz operators” [J. Inequal. Pure Appl. Math., 5, No. 4 (2004)] claimed to introduce the integral modifications of Lupas operators. These operators were first introduced in 1993 by Gupta and Srivastava. They estimated the simultaneous approximation for these operators and called them Baskakov-Szasz operators. There are several misprints in the paper by Deo. This motivated us to perform subsequent investigations in this direction. We extend the study and estimate a saturation result in simultaneous approximation for the linear combinations of these summation-integral-type operators.Нещодавно Део у роботі "Simultaneous approximation by Lupas operators with weighted function of Szasz operators" (J. Inequal. Pure and Appl.
